Ease of use provides confidence in use! Very easy to use the physical device itself. Transaction verification steps are very clear and straightforward. Back up steps are very clear and straightforward. The app adds to this ease of use. I have connected my box and loaded the app many times. Not once has the box itself or the app failed to load. I am very happy.

I ordered a Bitbox. Before getting the item, I got a 69 USD fee courtesy of UPS including 45 USD broker fee. So my USD 129 Bitbox is now close to USD 200.
Yes Bitbox do mention taxes. In my case about USD 16. All the rest is UPS. So really. at the checkout, you have NO idea what the item will cost you.
BitBox could calculate and DISPLAY that before hand.
Now, I can return the item and receive a refund. I need to pay the UPS USD 69 + Shipping Fees (abot 35 USD) so this option is a joke and as such they offer an option which is really not an option.
I do not know if they do this because they do not care or negligence but it is not trustworthy. If you are going to ship international, then find out how much your customers will need to pay and display it.
This is not a UPS problem. It is a BitBox problem.

We understand your frustration, and we're sorry that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. International shipping can be unpredictable, and unfortunately, some countries impose high and arbitrary import fees.
To clarify: the $16 you mentioned is the regular shipping fee, which is clearly stated at checkout. This is separate from any additional import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees charged by UPS or local customs authorities—costs that we do not control and cannot estimate in advance.
Panama is one of the few destinations where we cannot offer Duties & Taxes Paid (DDP) shipping, which we explicitly mention in our shop. This means that local authorities and couriers may charge extra fees upon delivery, which varies greatly from case to case. While we successfully ship to almost all countries worldwide without issues, some regions—like Panama or parts of South America—sometimes impose extreme import fees, with charges reaching 100% of the product value.
We understand how frustrating this can be, and we truly appreciate your feedback. If you’d like to discuss this further, our support team is happy to assist.

My questions were answered within 48 hours. That's good.
I find the whole package (BB02, Windows app, Android app) and explanatory tutorial very good and helpful, even if you end up again on an English tutorial, even though you are looking for German tutorials.
