Ikke-genopladelige lithiumbatterier isat enhed, som oplader batterierne

Jeg købte to Real Time Clock moduler af typen RTC DS3231 AT24C32 I2C hos Bitbyg. De ankom indpakket i hver sin lukkede antistatiske pose, og med en CR2032 lithiumbatteri allerede indsat i batteriholderen.

For at disse enheder kan kommunikere med en microcontroller skal de forbindes til en spændingsforsyning. Men samtidigt med at dette sker, begynder spændingsforsyningen at oplade batterierne. Batterier af typen CR2032 er ikke genopladelige og kan ikke lades op af en forbruger uden betydelig risiko.

Jeg skrev en e-mail til Bitbyg.dk og gjorde opmærksom herpå.

Deres svar var:

"På produktsiden kan du se at modulerne sælges uden batteri:

Pakke inkluderer:
1 stk DS3231M AT24C32 IIC-modul uden batteri

Det er blot en bonus fra fabrikantens side at der er et batteri med."

Jeg kan kun indstille til andre, at man bør være meget varsom med at bruge dette produkt købt hos Bitbyg.dk.

Som det mindste bør man tage batteriet ud, før man tager produktet i brug.
