Free and good, some other companies can learn from this!

Bitwarden is an excellent password safe. Secure and easy to use. Even its basic offering is more than enough for most people to need and it's free. It's integration with various browsers and apps is excellent, too, and the support it provides is rapid and knowledgeable. Most of all, it's cross platform, something Lastpass used to be and ruined its usability on the free model by removing.

Most people can't afford subscription models, because everyone has started doing this and in the process made the system financially unviable. I would be paying hundreds of dollars a week on products that have moved to subscription models, so I had to abandon them all.

I hope that if the free model ever disappears, the company isn't too greedy and offers a one-off low price payment option, with low price upgrade options on new versions, but free bug fixes.

Currently, however, the free model has been available for a number of years and I hope will continue to be available for the foreseeable future.

ADDENDUM:
For those bothered by the long minimum security password, this is essential. Anything shorter is too much of a security risk. All your passwords should be at least twelve characters long. But this is why password managers exist, to enable people to create very long passwords and not have to remember them. You only need to remember the master password. If you can't do that, use a random string of words as your master password, perhaps changing out the vowels for numbers or other characters and using a mix of lower and upper case characters. You can also save the master password somewhere, disguised as something else. Just make sure it's well disguised.

Bitwarden also allows biometric login, so you won't have to type in the master password every time.

Patience in helping me resolve an issue I had. I prefer Bitwarden to others I have tried, not just the price, but ease of use. It works!

Bitwarden is dependable and the recent issue that hindered saving the user's email address for login purposes has been resolved. Unfortunately, the logout upon browser restart feature is not functioning in the Edge browser.

It boasts excellent customer service, always attentive to your concerns, and offers an affordable premium service. I wish there was consideration for foreign currency payments in unfortunate circumstances. Please continue the great work. It is highly recommended, and I intend to continue using it.

I like the ability to store secure notes and other pieces of vital information that I can selectively share within the family (physical combination locks etc).

Love the ability to use hardware security keys and store passkeys.

Creation of a new account on bitwarden.eu and transfer of the Premium licences to the new account by the support team.
Very fast support, licences were moved without any problems. The data export and import into the new account went smoothly.

I had a temporary situation but needed support. The response and the follow up were quick. Hopefully if I really need assistance I will have the same experience.

This software is easy to use, very practical, safe so far and really convenient, plus the price is a steal even if USD is not my currency! So far I'm glad with my purchase and will continue with the subscription! I don't usually do reviews about products, but this one deserves it!

After upgrading, the feature where I wanted to pay for did not seem to be functioning in the way I expected. As result I downgraded (right away). Downgrading did not went completely smooth. Although I downgraded (so paying less), support was very constructive, fast and smooth.
I look forward to upgrade again (and pay, solutions and support is worth it!).

I like the fact that the app and the addon from the browser have updates and small improvements.
We put a lot of trust in you and I hope you are "the real deal" among so many companies that do not know what they are doing and maybe they were too young to know what an awesome product looks like. And I must say, so far Bitwarden is an awesome product.

This is a great app from a great company with real value for money. I am so glad that I took out the pro version costing only $10, which allowed me to have my payment account transferred to my new account after I made a mistake after changing my master password.
The support email that I received from the company was so timely and full of valuable information.
