Ordered Carbon wing mirrors for my Silvia S15, made to order, waited 5 months but 100% worth the wait of manufacturing then as well as shipping from Japan to Scotland. Even emailed me to confirm the go ahead since it was said to be 6 moths till delivery.

The genuine ball joint were exactly what I ordered. But the bleed screws were not correct and can’t be used. The taper is not correct to the originals and won’t seat right.

I was searching for a Spoon caliper for my EK and checked Spoon Sports, A-Pit Autobacs, and Up Garage but couldn’t find any. As my trip was coming to an end in Tokyo, I decided to reach out through their website via WhatsApp. To my surprise, Ahmed responded within the hour. I explained that I only had a few days left and asked if they had the caliper in stock and could ship it to my location.
Within 45 minutes, my order was placed. The team at Blackhawk shipped it out तुरंत, and I received it the very next day. This was honestly the best service I’ve ever experienced. I’ll definitely be ordering more parts from them when I get home (Canada) even with duties and taxes, it’s still cheaper and service was great.

BHJ really does go above and beyond but, to earn that fifth star they really need to offer pre paid duties to the United States. Through no fault of their own our duties system is horrible and overcharges the customer with very little that can be protested if you want what you ordered. I would sooner trust what BHJ says I should pay for duties here in America than I trust American shipping companies to bill me correctly. For example, BHJ sells items on EBay “pre duties paid” to the US on something I recently ordered direct and I ended up paying much more as fees for transit and duties by my US based carrier than I would have if I bought in their EBay store, same item. So, BHJ, go for that fifth star and please offer pre-paid duties on your site.

I have ordered parts from them on 3 occasion and will never deal with them again.

Each time it took over 3 weeks to ship them (not the transportation, just the preparation) and you have to email them. Otherwise it doesn't happen.

Second, they usually make mistakes on the paperwork, generated large financial losses at the custom. I am not talking of paying your normal import taxes. They put wrong code, forget papers, etc, which on my last order costed me 64% of import taxes.

Finally, once you email them to ask for the paperwork for example, nobody ever answer.

Overall, japanparts has been so much better, on price, paperwork, and communication.

Blackhawk, please let real customer friendly business take over.

I ordered this strut tower bar for my 04' Honda CL9 on the 8th of Jan, and it came on the 27th, in line with the estimated delivery. Moreover, the product description was accurate as it did improve "the direct steering feel and tyre grip", and "compensated the lack of rigidity on the front [of the car]." I am very satisfied with their service and would recommend them as a source for JDM performance parts.
