Trousers didn’t fit and the material was very stiff. Was told it would soften with washing but it never did. They’re in the charity shop now .

Sorry to hear that your trouser did not come to meet your expectations, we are happy to work on a solution to adjust the fit to your requirement. In regards to the denim being stiff, raw twill takes 5-10 wears to soften, something just washing them will not do by itself. We would encourage you to reach out to us directly so we can fix this issue together.

Lily and Will have always been very helpful and welcoming when I’ve been in the shop - consulting them for ideas and their knowledge when needed. I have a few pairs of jeans and chinos from BLA now. The quality and fit is excellent - definitely the best fitting jeans I’ve had, though they do take a bit to break in!
I would absolutely recommend Blackhorse Lane.
