Buying my first large bike I ordered a NX500 from Honda in Blade, due to high demand and supply issues it looked as if I would be waiting several months missing a summer of riding. Luckily I was offered the Demo bike as soon as it was allowed to be sold on a first come first serve basis. Part exchanged my old bike and added some extras, and I was lucky enough to get a pack on the Demo bike which included heated grips and a tank bag. The sales person was super helpful and pleasant and has ensured I didn't miss a summer of riding. Top dealership.

So I visited Blade Swindon and met with Ben Faulkner.
What can I say about my experience, well Ben met me with a cheerful welcome and offer of a drink. Then we settled down to business, he asked about my needs from a bike and which way my head was thinking, after which we pulled a couple of bikes out for me to check sitting position, height, weight etc and settled on an mt09, I was then told the upgrades between the last couple of models sorted temporary insurance stuck in some fuel and off I went. I loved it.
On return we chatted again, I was shown the various colours and models they had in stock and settled on the one most suited to me.
Unfortunately the trade in offer was one that didn't work for me so no sale was made. But the way Ben handled the whole day was exemplary I felt he was very open and honest, certainly knew his job and had good knowledge of the bikes he was selling, he made me feel comfortable and listened to my requirements rather than try to push a bike on me. All in all first class service. The only reason it's 4* is because no sale was made.

I wouldnt bother ... rang on Friday re the offers on new CB125R. Sales Executive responded to queries but didnt know what colours were left in stock. He said he would ring back. He didnt. Spoke to him again late Saturday morning. Claimed to be still 'ringing around' to check stock of other branches. Said he would ring me back Saturday afternoon though to take deposit. They close at 5pm on Saturday so I chased again. Nobody picked up call. Rang Monday to hear Sales Exec had gone on holiday and sales 'deals' on CB125Rs had already ended! And that's customer service for a cash buyer for a new bike!!

Visited Blade Honda to discuss the purchase of a new Monkey bike. Ben was the sales rep that dealt with my enquiries. Ben gave me all the information I needed about the bike, different colour schemes available vs what they had in stock. Bike was prepped and available for collection in a few days. Great experience overall.

I went to Blade Motorcycles to look at Used Bikes for Touring
I went to Blade Motorcycles to look at their range of used bikes as I was looking to return to Biking after a 24 year break. I was welcomed by each of the staff on duty across the range of manufacturers on sale i.e. Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Triumph, KTM and specifically Ben Bourne (Honda).
We discussed the type riding I was looking undertake, i.e. Touring and the type of bike that would meet my needs. At no point did I feel pressured to make a decision . Ben answered my questions and offered suggestions based upon the bikes available.
I eventually bought a used Honda NC750, with low mileage , It came with a full years MOT, Service, New tyres and Battery.
Two weeks on from making the purchase I am very happy with the bike. I took part in the 'Dave Day' Ride and will be undertaking a 5 week UK Road Trip North shortly.
A Big thanks to Blade and Ben Bourne for their expertees and help.

If someone bothered to attend to a customer they would have taken an order for a new bike, I had made my mind up to buy, as they couldn't be bothered to engage and just sat behind their desks they didn't.. I don't chase sales staff, I expect them to do some work and ask me if they can help me, Nice showroom though..

I was looking to sell or trade in my 2017 R6 for something more comfortable but wasn’t sure where to start.
I was pointed in the direction of Ben Faulkner who was the Yamaha expert. Ben went out of his way to suggest options available, highlighting the pros and cons of each before offering an immediate test ride of a new 2024 MT-09 which I instantly loved.
