No actual Sales follow up
I made an enquiry via Autotrader to the Abingdon Blade Motorcycles branch, I had a prompt reply from the Sales Team, I was furnished with a PDF file which i could not edit.
In order to proceed I added all the data they needed and a Word Doc containing the pictures they wanted, sadly no reply after 3 days on my sales enquiry.
Marketing emails have arrived asking how things went, however appears you cannot reply via that follow up request.
Sorry Blade Abingdon you have lost a sale.
Three stars as they did actually come back to me initially, a phone contact was available, however I am hard of hearing hence me emailing.
Absolutely Excellent Service
Over the last 6 months or so I have really received a really excellent service from Triumph Swindon.
My Tiger 1200 GT Pro has been in for a service and had some warranty work undertaken and right from the start of booking the bike in, having the work undertaken, being kept informed on progress to collecting the bike the service has been excellent - a significant transformation from 18 months.
My thanks to Liberty for excellent customer service, Frankie, who is very thorough & does absolutely excellent work on my the bike and to Shane for the help in purchasing some additional bits/extras pieces I wanted.
Bought a bike from Blade with the help with Ben and great tips from Chris the servicing advisor
Bought a bike from Blade with the help from Ben. Ben took his time to make a test ride happen due to the bike being slightly too high. He negotiated a great part x on my old bike, got a lowering kit fitted on the new bike and Chris, the servicing advisor gave me some handy tips for the bike. all in all a great experience. Not 5 stars as the bike was advertised with heated grips but it had no heated grips.
Great service from Oxford Harley!
I can only speak for Oxford Harley Davidson here. I popped in “for a look” and took a shine to a Heritage Classic. Mark Frith arranged a test drive, made me coffee and was very helpful without being pushy. After the test drive, my only doubt was the price, but Mark and the manager Johnny got their heads together and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse! Great service from Mark, a great improvement on service of several years ago. Thanks to Mark and Johnny.
Chris went the extra mile for me today…
Chris went the extra mile for me today to sort out a bike at short notice while mine was being serviced.
The extra attention to detail and customer service where outstanding.
Excellent service
BLADE MOTORCYCLES - well people, I can only tell it like I find it. Today they did some warranty recall work on my bike and they were bloomin' marvellous. Really. Very helpful, kept me informed, pointed out a few advisories, pointed out the drinks machine, let me sit on some bikes (dreaming again) I couldn't have asked for more. I know they've come in for some stick, some of it justified, but today they did really well. The lady on the service desk (Liberty) was brilliant.
Great experience buying xsr 700
Purchasing my new bike could not have been easier. I found the whole process stress free. Ben at Yamaha knows his bikes and understands the need to keep faff to a minimum. Definitely recommend blade Yamaha and can’t big up Ben enough.
New Bike purchase-Swindon Yamaha
I have just bought a new R7 from swindon Yamaha. It's my first time using this dealer and I have to say it was a pleasure. Ben in sales put the deal together for me and kept me informed of progress, A professional process and a friendly manner. Top marks. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another bike from them.
Good experience
Shane and the guys at blade were very helpful, my bike will now do 100mph+ stand up wheelies, thanks guys will return
NO LOYALTY TO CUSTOMERS
What a waste of time using Blade motorcycles Ducati,
I called this dealership and spoke to a person named TOM AUSTIN to purchase a Ducati V4R costing over £37k, I had several days of correspondence and eventually proceeded with the sale and applied for finance.
Everything was in place and I was set to travel to the dealership the coming weekend and out of the blue I get an email telling me unfortunately they decided to sell it to someone who walked into the dealership with the full funds. NOW THIS IS DISGUSTING.
Not only did I waste my time with the whole process I now have a credit application on my credit file for the next 6 months.
I would expect more from such a high end dealership, first time being interested in a Ducati and I will never look at them again.
DO NOT USE BLADE MOTORCYCLES ABINGTON.
Great advice for new bike
Bought a Yamaha Tracer 9GT from Blades. I'm a relatively new rider and needed a bike for touring with my wife. Had great advice and guidance from Ben who took loads of time over a number of days to help us out and go through all of the options to reach a decision that really worked for us. Super happy with the new bike.
Recently bought a bike from Blade…
Recently bought a bike from Blade Swindon, dealing mainly with Ben. I wasn't pushed or patronised. Just supported, with courtesy & patience, to complete a very satisfactory transaction without fuss or complication. Thanks Ben
Blade Swindon Parts Dept
Blade Swindon Parts Dept
Great customer service from Shane on the numerous times I've visited. Happy to share knowledge to help you with your purchase. Find it more reassuring than buying online as you can discuss your purchase. Parts are ordered in quickly, typically next day and they text you to let you know they have arrived. Great all round service
Best customer service experience
I saw the bike online and made an enquiry about it. Ben was very helpful with answering all of my questions and with organising the part exchange of my old bike. Ben went over and above customer service expectations when completing the sale and in the exchanging of bikes. Thanks Ben- you were brilliant.
Blade Triumph Swindon
Had a small issue with the Tiger recently that necessitated a visit to the dealer for investigation.
I’m extremely happy to say that not only did they do everything they could to resolve the issue, but the service of the team is always superb. Liberty on the service reception is always able to point you in the direction you need, offer advice and ensure you always have the right information at the right time.
Loved the 660 Tiger Sport as a courtesy bike! That was just a fun ride, full of character that needed exploring!
As I’ve always experienced from Blade in Swindon, fantastic service and knowledgeable techs. Thank you one and all.
Excellent dealership
From the moment we stepped inside Blades we were looked after. Our questions answered and excellent advice given. A truly professional dealership.
Great company to deal with.
This is the second bike I’ve bought from Blade Motorcycles, 2 different sales people and both very professional and helpful. This time I dealt with Ben, he took time with me after my walk in, I had a rough idea of the bike i wanted, he was patient and helpful and showed me a range of bikes they could source but I did finally settle for a bike in the showroom. The whole transaction was smooth and painless, the handover was speedy and I rode away very happy. Would definitely visit again when I’m looking for a new bike.
Clutch replacement.
I booked my bike in for a clutch replacement in Swindon blade, I have used them before for the same works and they are always reasonably priced with good communication and this was completed within 5 days. This also included a service and fitting of a rear tyre. Chris was very helpful and kept me updated throughout. They also supplied a very nice courtesy bike that meant I could continue to work. The bike was collected today and runs like a dream again. Great service, would highly recommend.
Disgusting…
Disgusting…. After taking a while to decide on the right bike I finally sent over my details to finance the bike unfortunately this was unsuccessful so I found my own finance and decided to move forward. After countless calls from myself and the lender and trying to get through to the right person I spoke to somone and told them that I had sorted the finance and to expecting a call from the finance company and they told me they would leave a message for the sales guy who was off. The next morning after countless calls again from myself and the lender we still could not get through and the lender had sent over there doc to pay them. After a short time I then heard that the bike was sold that morning with no courtesy to me to say we have somone interested are you going ahead. My calls were ignored and finally spoke to a manager who basically said il look into it. There was no mention about putting down a deposit but if there was I was happy to pay. I had already paid for a van to go and collect and rearranged my families activities to go and collect the bike but thankfully the hire company refunded me after I explained what had happened.Apologies for the rant but all they care about is the sale and commission and not the customer service. Not what you would expect from a brand like blade. Iv had somthing like this happen to me before with a car so I guess it me or customer service is long gone.
Brilliant service department
I can't thank Chris and Alan in rhe service dept enough for their help with my sons bike. They kept us informed and were really helpful.
