Sophie has been excellent since first contact, arranging the survey promptly and right through to the thorough, helpful and easy to understand report.
Things have certainly progressed since we last moved house almost 19 years ago and the homebuyer report and valuation was extremely worthwhile.
Sophie’s communication throughout has been first class and is always on hand if anything needs to be queried, which in our case hasn’t been necessary. However the offer is still there if anything needs to be followed up after going back to our legal advisers.

Having used Blaker Collins twice on both occasions I found them very approachable and knowledgeable. Very much appreciated the drone footage.

Very fast turnaround to survey a 7 bedroom property with outbuildings in Kent ... carried out in the snow and ice! Sophie provided us with an excellent report for a RICS Level 3 survey, and was available to talk to us to help us interpret it and digest the more technical bits. She was also able to accommodate a slightly earlier date for the survey, and provided the report with just two working days. We would highly recommend Blaker Collins, and will for sure use them again in the future.

We recently used Blaker Collins for a Level 3 Survey of a house we were buying in hurry! They managed to fit us within a few days and the report was pack to us 3 days later! And when I say report, it was 115 pages long, extensive is an understatement! The surveyor was really helpful, he called before sending the report just to go through some of the points in a little more detail so that when we got the report we were pretty much up to speed and not shocked by anything. It didn't seem rushed, very professional and we have already recommended them to a friend and will continue to do so. If only our solicitor was this efficient too!! Thanks once again, awesome service.

Just received an excellent, long and very detailed survey on an Edwardian House in Eastbourne BN22. Sophie was brilliant in her 139 page report in explaining and detailing serious faults in the building, drainage and structure. Her advice and numerous pictures of damage to the roof, walls and position of sewers etc, prevented us from purchasing a very unsuitable house. Many thanks Sophie and we will use you again. We fully recommend this superb company.

Gavin was friendly and he (and his office) were excellent at explaining what they would be doing and the cost of the survey. During the process I was kept well informed on the date of the survey etc. and the report was clear and easy to understand.

Excellent service. I was impressed by Blaker Collins. The instruction was for a level 3 survey on a Grade II Listed Barn. Gavin Collins was responsive, provided immediate and lengthy initial feedback via videocall, and thereafter produced a comprehensive report. Gavin struck the right balance between pointing out issues and potential issues, whilst making clear that he was not seeking to put us off the purchase.

Needed to get a property surveyed for a relative and as it was 24 years since I had moved tried a referral website. Gavin from Baker Collins actually called me and gave me advice as I was over complicating what was required and incurring unnecessary expense. No one else did that.
