The Blaux portable air conditioner does…

The Blaux portable air conditioner does NOT work. It makes absolutely to difference to a room's temperature. I tried it out at home in a moderately sized bedroom. It did nothing. I took mine to my boat and tried to cool a very small, enclosed bedroom. It did nothing. I am skeptical about positive

I was going to buy something from this…

I was going to buy something from this company but thought I would check it up on here first. I am glad I did as no way will I be buying anything at all now.
I do note when they respond to customers it is always the same answer to everything.

These were over advertised and I fell…

These were over advertised and I fell for it. They take a bit of work to set up, like soaking the filter and keeping the freezer packs frozen. That's not a big deal really but the operation is nothing but disappointing! On top of that, I returned the two a month ago and just today, July 30th received a message that they are issuing credit but to wait another 30 days for the credit. I wish I'd have done more research on the company! Lesson learned. Do not buy these they do not work.

piece of junk got me to buy 2 open…

piece of junk got me to buy 2 open first one added water vibrated all over table and was just put tiny mist of water in air cost me 55 dollars to send back 7 weeks ago still no credit emailed them just keep saying looking into it this is deffinatley a scam

Very bad product and company is worse

Very bad product and company is worse. Total scam - they hook you into buying 2 when you want one and unable to see opt out button on website. Company unable to be reached to complain or return product. Product does not even work. Product does not "cool a room" and barely holds charge more than 20 minutes on high.
My bad for falling for scam - buyer beware and DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCT!

Purchased BLAUX desktop AC ultra.
Total rip off. They should feel fortunate to receive one star. Only keeps you cool if you put your nose six inched from the fan. Hopefully this company will be out of business soon so other people don’t get caught up in this SCAM. If you see a good review on this product it’s only because that person works for the company and wants more sales.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I bought one of came without bill or return address. I dispute the charges on my credit card. I purchased June 6 came in June 30. I couldn't returned. The credit gave me money back, and Blaux charge me again because I received the product, of course I got it, but I couldn't returned the customer service, never answer I can't a return without a return label. Also in the credit car statement they don't put the phone number either.
Finally when I got my statement I called my credit card company to give their number, I spoke to somebody and told me they were going to send me an email to processes my claim. Still waiting.
I been charge $ 116.00 because I purchased lifetime warranty .
This it's a scam and I telling everybody not to buy from this company. They are not trustable.

Unit did not cool as expected! Could not get refund!

The unit did not cool as expecte; therefore, I returned the item (within 30 days) and requested a full cash refund. I was given very specific instructions by Blaux staff regarding the return which I followed. Blaux confirmed receipt of item and advised that my refund was being processed. I never heard back regarding my refund. After several calls to Customer service, I was told that the refund period had expired and they could only issue a store credit. Needless to say, I am not interested in their store credit or in doing any future business with them.

Update...I understand that items purchased don't always meet expectations. My disappointment and frustration is that after I returned the item, I did not get my cash refund due to your delay in processing and since I didn't agree to the store credit, I didn't receive anything from Blaux. So I'm out of $90 and nothing to show for it. Not sure how this is fair or legal business practice.

Poor elderly mom got ripped off GARBAGE DONT BUY

My mom mistakenly purchased this for my son last summer but due to COVID I didn’t get it from her until a few days ago. Purpose was for sons computer room. I set it up to test it before giving it to him. OMG it was on a book on my bed beside me. Absolute piece of junk rip off. Had I know my mom was buying this I would have done my research BEFORE ordering it, always do your research before buying anything online with no store to return to, so like probably a hell of a lot of people got scammed. DONT BUY SCAM!!!

Terrible product and service

Like others I would have left zero stars if could.
First, I never received a confirmation email for my order despite emailing the company for it several times. I did however get their other promotional emails.
Second, it took around a month to get the order, with very little information as to when it would ultimately get sent.
Third, the product was little more than a plastic box that very lightly pushed out warm air, even with ice added. I live in a small room in Manhattan. If it can't cool this room, it can't cool anywhere.
Forth, when emailing for a.refund, my email was ignored. It's going on six.days without a response. Prior emails were answered in one day (granted with little information).
I don't ever write reviews but his product and company are so scammy it required one. Stay away!

Edit:
7/12 update: in response to their reply about contacting customer service... I have!! I sent one email asking about how to get a refund 6 days ago and another 3 days ago! Last night I got an automatic email saying I'm a high priority, but still nothing around twenty four hours later.

I was interested at first

I was interested at first, but after reading the reviews I changed my mind. The thing is, I filled the order form with my address and credit card number, but NEVER SUBMITTED IT, and they billed me and sent it to me anyway, hoping I would keep it to save the trouble of returning it. I still have to pay the return fees! That,s a waste of time and money, please learn from this! Never opened the box, I don't know if it works actually.

Piece of junk!!!!!!

Piece of junk!!!!!!! I wasted $89.00 on it. But as they say "Buyer beware". If it sounds too good, it probably is. DONT WASTE YOU MONEY ON IT!!! I wouldn't have given it any rating, but I couldn't write the review without, at least, a one star rating. They don't have a minus 5 rating.

NOT IMPRESSED!!

I was charged $122.59 for my faulty unit. It cost me $26 to return unit to get my refund. Blaux refunded me $105.84. Thus, Blaux cost me $42.75. I emailed them to give them an opportunity to resolve, they said they would but they didn't. From my experience Blaux is a liability! Don't get scammed buy from a reputable company, NOT Blaux.

Another ripp off!

I bought 2 Blaux' for $150 each. Yes, I got ripped of twice.
Baux never told me that it would take 6 weeks before I get the ACs. I tried to cancel, get in touch with them with no results.
Once the 2 AC arrived 8 weeks later, it was clear to me it was a scheme.
The unit is 8x8x8. There is a 4 oz bottle to fill with water, you can crush up some ice and added it to a compartment, maybe 4 of them, to get some cool air. It has a fan you could buy it at the Dollar Store. Is it effective, no. It is nothing, it is not capable
l of keeping a room, 8x8, comfortable. It is so primitively made that a 6 grade kid could make in their science class.
A total ripp off.
Not being able to contact them, and they charged me their top price, and sent a product that is ridiculous, and inferior.
I had the impression it would cool a 400 sq ft room. No not even close. Don't buy it!

I would give this negative stars if I could!

If I could give negative stars I would!! I would give it negative 1,000,000 stars!!! This sells for around $90 each and STUPIDLY I bought 3 of them and extra filters aswell...I spent over $300 and I can't work due to health problems and am on welfare....yes I am trying to get disability, but it takes forever! So, my landlord took my central AC unit out bcuz he didn't feel like paying the rental fee on the unit anymore, well he also didn't feel he should lower my rent either but I didn't make an issue bcuz I was saving hydro anyways plus its extremely difficult to find a place to rent where I'm from especially for the rent I'm paying! Anyways I decided to buy 1 unit for each bedroom for my 2 kids and myself, I would have been WAY WAY better off sticking to fans...which is what we now use for the bedrooms. These useless things didnt even feel cold when sitting DIRECTLY infront of them...they actually made it worse bcuz it felt humid and sticky due to the ice melting! Plus I ordered these at the start of last summer and didn't get them until fall so I didn't even try them until the following summer so guess what?.....YEP! The 30 day guarantee....was EXPIRED!!! Complete bullsh!+ if u ask me....and A LOT of other ppl from the looks of it. I can't believe this so called company can consciously sell these crap products claiming they work and blah, blah, blah!!! Now my kids n I r out $300 which is A LOT of money for us.....almost a month worth of groceries! I am very very disappointed in this product and the company. People these days can't afford to spend this kind of money for a product that is COMPLETE AND UTTER CRAP!! I understand sometimes things don't work the way u want exactly or not as well as u expected but this product doesn't work AT ALL. Its HORRIBLE....PLEASE, PLEASE ppl, save ur money and buy a $20 oscillating fan from Walmart for crying out loud!
