Please don't make the same mistake I made

Please don't make the same mistake I made by ignoring the bad reviews here and went on to order blinds from them. Gave accurate measurement of my windows but the blinds that were delivered were all significantly longer than the windows, so I suspect they simply ignored my measurement and sent standard lengths. Cleaning these blinds is a mission and half, as it's very flimsy and almost every contact with the blind tends to fracture the blind and in most cases, never fully recovers from it. And to think that it wasn't necessarily cheap, so it clearly wasn't good value for money.

ADVOID, ADVOID, ADVOID....

I ordered three sets of blinds from Blinds Megastore which were all cut to the wrong width. After my first email they replied with an apology and requesting photos and paperwork. After that they ignored all my further emails.
Also I phoned the number they give on their website four times, only to find out it was not valid. Furthermore, they state on their website "Customer satisfaction is our highest priority" which is totally unbelievable. They don't care about you - Advoid this company at all costs

Waste of time and money.. Stay clear of this company.

Item sent 24hr express delivery.. Arrived 3 days later than expected delivery date.
Of the 3 blinds I ordered, 2 of them where too wide and all 3 should have been Woodgrain effect in Matt Black..
All 3 blinds I received were glossy black..
NOT WHAT I ORDERED.
As it's xmas, I am left high and dry with nothing to put in my windows.
I have sent numerous emails and messages via eBay but so far nothing.
I will have no hesitation in issuing proceeding via my local county court to compensate for the loss of 2 days earnings waiting for the delayed delivery and the inconvenience cuased by the wrong items being sent.
I will now have to go out and try to get something to put in my windows until it's sorted.

Couldn't be bothered

Couldn't even be bothered to provide a quote when I had an issue putting their products in my basket on eBay. Very glad I contacted them as I found out how awful their customer serevice was before giving them any of my money. I spent my £600 with another company, who managed to get my name right.

My First Bad Review

I ordered a Premium Quality Tablecloth from this Company. When I received it, it looked cheap and nasty, like sackcloth. I tried telephoning but the phone rang and no-one answered - this went on over a period of several days. Eventually I sent them an e-mail explaining how disappointed I was with the exceptionally poor quality and asked if they would be willing to pay for the return postage in view of this. I then sent the package back, paid the postage, and waited to be refunded. Several e-mails later and they claim not to have received the package! This is probably because they have different return addresses. So I am left out of pocket (£17.79).

The worst online buying experience i have ever encountered.

This order was made through Ebay.
I refused delivery of this product because it was delivered much later than the 6-10 days stipulated on their web site and in initial confirmation email.
Then the appalling service begins.
1. Failure to read emails with specific details ie. no confusing specifics order was exactly what is available in the drop down menus.
2. As a result of point 1 above there was a delay in processing a very simple order and emails back and forward to clarify and re-clarify the order.
3. Due to the continuing delay and their inability to read emails with any accuracy, I emailed to say I no longer wanted the product and requested a refund and so the poor customer service and threats begin.
4. I refused delivery due to all of the above.

I was refused a refund and told to refer to the terms and conditions.
I selected the size from a drop down menu which to me implies the standard available. Requesting a size between the sizes available is a customized order. On these grounds they would not give a refund. Once again they failed to read my emails properly. i refused the order because of the poor service and delayed delivery.

I challenged their only argument which was the blinds were customised. At no point did they recognize their sub standard processing and delivery of the order. They forcefully resent the order out again after another two weeks and threatened to charge me with delivery if I did not accept the order from the carrier.

I now have a blind which I no longer require because, due to their inability to process a very simple order in the stated time I found a more reliable supplier.

Their terms and conditions should state clearly WE DO NOT REFUND ANY ORDERS irrespective of poor service and not meeting the delivery times stated in the order. My confirmation email clearly stated delivery would be on 24.08.14.

First delivery was 01.08.14., which |I declined as I had already told the company, due to poor delivery service, I no longer wanted the product. The order was over a week late in which time I had been emailing the company because of their inability to process a simple order and having to write the same emails again and again to be understood.
And then, after numerous emails back and forward, the threat
'Redelivery of your order can be expected very soon. Refusal of the order again will result in the order being held at our depot until payment for a 3rd delivery attempt is made. However on no occasion will a refund be issued'

Perhaps their terms and conditions should also state 'we have the right to be inept and not meet delivery times'

I have been forced to accept an order I no longer want and to top it all the quality is poor and cheap looking.
THE WORST ON LINE BUYING EXPERIENCE

During this process I opened a case with Ebay re Blindsmegastore. They were no help either.

blindsmegastore WORST COMPANY ON EBAY!!

I ORDERED A BLIND WHICH I SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM IT HAD TO BE 36" AND NOT ONE MM OUT, THEY CONFIRMED IT WOULD BE AND WHEN I EVENTUALLY GOT THE BLIND IT WAS MORE THAN ONE INCH TOO SHORT SO I COMPLAINED, THEY TOLD ME TO SEND IT BACK AND THEY WOULD SEND ME OUT THE CORRECT BLIND AND REFUND ME MY POSTAGE, AFTER A COUPLE OF WEEKS PAST BY I CONTACTED THEM AND THEY CAME UP WITH THE MOST PATHETIC EXCUSE THAT I HAD BEEN SENT THE CORRECT BLIND AND THEY WOULD NOT REFUND MY POSTAGE AND THAT I HAD ALSO LOST MY MONEY!!! THEY SAID THE BLIND WAS CORRECT AND AS I HAD ORDERED A 36” BLIND THEY SENT A 35” BLIND WHICH WAS THE CORRECT MEASUREMENT!!!!
IF THIS IS THE CASE WHY DID THEY CONFIRM I WOULD BE SENT A 36” BLIND??? THEY ACTUALLY CONFIRMED IT FIVE TIMES BEFORE THE PURCHASE AND THE REASON I ASKED SO MANY TIMES IS BECAUSE THEY ASKED ME TO CONFIRM EXACTLY WHAT SIZE I WANTED AFTER I HAD ALREADY SENT THEM TWO MESSAGES AND CONFIRMED IN THE PAYPAL PAYMENT THE SIZE. The blind must be 36” x at least 56” length, do not make this blind a single mm out of the measuyrement otherwise it will not fit!
I MEAN HOW CLEAR MUST YOU BE! THESE PEOPLE ARE NOTHING MORE THAN IDIOTS!! I HAVE LOST MORE THAN £40, THEY HAVE NOT REFUNDED ME MY PURCHASE PRICE OR THE COST WHICH I INCURRED RETURNING THE DEFECTIVE BLIND!!
