Bloor Homes has provided great customer service and quality homes

Bloor Homes has provided great customer service, from start to finish (end-to-end support provided). The high-standard and quality building, as well as an excellent sales team (Antonio, Faye & Khushi) and site manager (Callum, a great guy). In addition, the use of high-quality building materials such as brick walls, traditional wood materials, and environmentally friendly products is commendable. To sum up, the sales process was transparent and seamless.

Perfect New Home

The sales advisory team at Suttonfields, St Helens, was incredibly responsive and guided us perfectly to the right home. Initially, we wanted to buy a Hallam model, but we ended up purchasing a Lydgate because all the available Hallams had already been reserved. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as the Lydgate has much bigger, more spacious bedrooms that suit our tastes perfectly.From our very first day, Sue was like a mother to us. Her expert advice at every step of the way was both exceptional and professional. She made sure our entire home-buying journey was comfortable, keeping us completely informed and well-advised throughout. Whenever we encountered any issues, she was always right there to help.We also cannot forget the other sales advisors, Lucy and Hannah. Together with Sue, they make a truly fantastic team. We highly recommend them!

Very easy and enjoyable appointment process

Was assisted by Paul and his energy and knowledge made the appointment experience very enjoyable. He was very informative about the house buying process and helped me understand which plot would be best for my wants. Would highly recommend Bloor homes to anyone thinking of purchasing a new build home.

Having just bought our new Bloor home…

Having just bought our new Bloor home at Oriel Gardens, Faringdon, I feel I need to highlight the fantastic service from all concerned, but a special thank you has to go to the sales office staff, Sharon and Amy and on site to Keenan, nothing has been too much trouble and as soon as snagging items have been identified, Keenan and his team have sorted it with no fuss or bother, we're loving the new house and putting our own stamp on the place slowly but surely.

Friendly, professional service

Friendly, professional service with a smile from the office staff, Carolyn and Nicola. Any issues with construction were dealt with promptly and efficiently by the on-site team, led by Trevor. No complaints at all. Good quality fittings and construction and very good value for money.

No regrets

From the moment we entered the site office in Felixstowe to getting our keys our experience been nothing but smooth sailing and easy. We ere introduced to our brilliant mortgage advisor Richard, then met Tasha, Luke and Lauren who were simply amazing. No questions or queries were ever too much for them. They were always available, friendly and very welcoming each time we met with them. On completion day wow that was the cherry on the cake. Barry made us feel like we won the jackpot! 2 months in and Barry has become our new best friend. I have never met a man who is so patient and dedicated to making you settle into your new home with the minimalist of stress. If anything cropped up, Barry is only a call away and whatever it is, he will sort it out for you. He likes to say ‘leave it with me’ and truly means it. He gets it sorted! Thanks so much Barry you are truly invaluable and it’s people like you and your team that reassure Wayne and I that we have definitely made the right choice to buy our forever home here!

Friendly and professional

Friendly, efficient and professional service throughout. We really don’t know if we’d have made it through what has been a stressful time for my wife and I without the help, advice and endurance of the wonderful team at Alcester Park. Julie, Izzy and Tracy make a fantastic team with their knowledge and effort making all the difference and getting us into our new home. Site manager Ollie also deserves well earned praise for his professionalism and understanding in all aspects during the move. We love our house and the environment. Couldn’t be more happy to award 5 stars.

Excellent experience from start to finish

Excellent experience from start to finish, with very helpful and effective sales office staff and site manager. Smooth process and lots of support throughout. House and garage are of very high quality.

All issues found were fixed practically immediately upon the first courtesy visit.

Many thanks in particular to Nicola and Carolyn from the sales office, and Trevor, the site manager, at the Marcham Meadows site.

Fantastic experience

We have had a fantastic experience with Sarah at Bloor Homes Foxcote. She has made the entire house-buying journey so much easier for us, making every step of the process very clear and straightforward.

Even though we haven't moved into our new house yet, Sarah has looked after us from day one. Her communication has been brilliant, and she is always incredibly friendly and helpful.

You’ll never be able to sell your Bloor Home!

I’m selling my Bloor Home purchased new in 2020. I sold my house 9 months ago
Due to poor conveyancing from Bloor making errors on transfer deeds and the solicitor we were told by Bloor we had to use (illegal) also don’t resolve this issue on moving in has led to months worth of delays trying to get out.

Once the house is sold Bloor have no interest in helping from day one. Issues with the management company, snagging, once you are in you are off their list. If it’s not your forever home don’t move in as you will never get out!

Just moved into Bloor Homes at Priors…

Just moved into Bloor Homes at Priors Meadow in Southbourne, Sussex. I can’t thank sales associates Kate & Vanessa enough. They have been absolutely superb throughout the process. They have both gone way beyond the call of duty, often sorting things in the chain that were way beyond what was expected, and were able to get in touch with people to sort things in the chain that no one else could. They have been helpful, attentive and always there to assist. I have been so impressed that my elderly mother is now buying a bungalow on the same development. Kate & Vanessa are not only lovely people but unlike a lot of people these days, they believe in getting things done. Thanks so much to both of them.

Marcham Meadows, super experience during part exchange.

My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a Bloor home at Marcham Meadows. Carolyn and Nicola have been super supportive throughout! Thank you so much for answering our many questions and accommodating plot visit requests. We felt there was nothing we couldn’t ask as both Carolyn and Nicola made us feel very “at home” in our discussions (sorry about the pun!).
The part exchange process has been swift and clear so far including what support is available after completion.

We recently completed our purchase at the Marcham site and would like to express our sincere thanks to Nicola and Carolyn for the outstanding service and support they provided throughout our home-buying journey.

From the very beginning, Nicola and Carolyn were professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Nicola was often our first point of contact and always went above and beyond to keep us informed, answer our questions, and ensure everything progressed as smoothly as possible. Alongside Carolyn, they made a fantastic team, providing consistent communication, reassurance, and support at every stage of the process.

Buying a home can be stressful, but thanks to Nicola and Carolyn's dedication, patience, and genuine care, the experience was far more enjoyable and straightforward than we could have hoped for. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we always felt valued and well looked after.

Fitchet/Bloor sales people

I wanted to leave a review for Megan, Kelly and Abby at Fitchet/Bloor Homes because they have been absolutely fantastic throughout my house-buying journey.

Although I ultimately decided to purchase a different property that wasn’t with Fitchet Homes or Bloor Homes, I felt it was important to recognise how helpful, informative and supportive they were every step of the way. They always took the time to answer my questions, kept me updated, and had genuinely considerate conversations about what would be best for me rather than simply trying to make a sale.

Their professionalism, kindness and honest advice made a stressful process much easier, and I cannot thank them enough for all their help. They are a real credit to the company, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a new home.

I had a very positive experience with…

I had a very positive experience with the staff a Bloor homes Foxcotes, especially Sarah. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly throughout the entire experience. Sarah made everything feel smooth and stress-free, always taking the time to answer questions and provide clear updates.

Hereford Point

Amazing service from start to finish, Vanessa and Emma have made the moving process very easy after 2 previous houses fell through (not through Bloor). Communication has been excellent and I would 100% recommend.

Overall positive experience

Overall, our experience with Bloor has been positive so far. The sales team have generally been helpful.

However, one area I do feel could be significantly improved is communication around plot progress and completion forecasting during the build itself.

When purchasing a property costing several hundreds of thousands of pounds, particularly off-plan, buyers naturally become very invested in the progress of their future home. Aside from weekly templated stage emails, there has been very little visibility into how the plot is progressing, realistic completion expectations, or any form of interior progress updates/photos.

I completely understand that build schedules can change and developers do not want to overpromise dates. However, even occasional more detailed updates, clearer milestone explanations, or a few internal progress photos throughout the process would make a huge difference to the customer experience and reduce a lot of uncertainty for buyers trying to coordinate sales, mortgages and moving arrangements.

This is intended more as constructive feedback than a complaint, as overall we remain very excited about the purchase and the development itself. We are currently hoping to complete in tandem with our related sale at the end of June, so clearer visibility around build progress and likely timelines would be hugely beneficial for planning purposes.
