I purchased a portable AC unit online

I purchased a portable AC unit online. Seller sent a post card with tracking number.
I opened a dispute with BB. Was ruled in merchants favor bc he sent tracking.
Unit was 56lbs but tracking said it was "delivered in mailbox".
My mailbox is 3x4 inches also said weight was 3 oz.
I opened dispute and was told yes you did recieve the item.
I was told can reopen the dispute and was ruled in his favor again.
I called paypal and they said they closed his account bc of fraud and have BB call them and they will give details.
I called BB was hung up on 3 times first time thru subsequent attempts I was hung up everytime.
I was told yes you didbrecieve the item and that I needed to file it under item defective or damaged which I did.
BB ruled in his favor a 3rd time.
I spent time and $$ tracking.this 24 kid down. He used paypal as his business address.
I forwarded off all documentation requested and then some and was told since I recieved an item(post card) I did not have a dispute.
I asked hypothetically if I purchase a 2021 Ford Mustang and spend 45K and.seller sends me a 1 inch toy replica of a Ford is that fraud and I was told no that is not fraud.
When I call dispute team I hear kids in background and chickens.squakimg.
3 times I called. My guess is their dispute team is well not legit.
I asked.for latest documentation and was hung up on AGAIN.
I recorded this as I did with all my calls.
At this point I have spent more time $$ and energy than its worth.
I don't want anyone else to get burned by this horrible.company.

The only thing about blue bird is that…

The only thing about blue bird is that you get your money a few days early. I have half of my check on the bluebird card then the other on my traditional bank account. When it comes to a refund they take forever. As far as a traditional bank when a company process a refund you get it immediately or the next day not with blue bird they want to take 7 to 10 business days. They really need to update their systems/programming.If your credit isn't the best right now to get a traditional bank account definitely try one of the other prepaid cards that are out there. Some traditional banks offer prepaid cards

help bluebird

so blue bird suddenly says I have a negative balance with isn't possible because I know that's the whole point of prepaid it's not a actual bank account and clearly bsays u can't overdraft so I know that if you don't have sufficient funds it will not go through especially with Amazon and Lyft ride share who puts a authorization hold to check if there is funds to cover Wich I I did and also prepaid when you make a transaction if debits the money from your balance like right away American Express bluebird customer service is rude as hell I've been hung up on yelled at transfered to different departments cut off so i can't speak refused when asked to speak to supervisor mind you it's the same person who pretends t0 be the acting manager like I'm stupid also lso had the nerve to say they did me a favor to push my payment therougth with now I have a negative balance how is that a far I been a long customer with them but what I don't get is if supposedly if my account was showing insufficient funds and I was trying to do a transaction for 165.$$ it would decline so knowing that why not only push through that one but do 4 more transactions to go through I have a 159.$ still in my goal account I do direct deposit for my job but cannot access my goal account until I pay the negative balance wich isn't right they pushed it through when it had already been taking off my availabill balance help someone how can I get this fixed

Stay Away

This company has incompetent/unprofessional people working for them. The customer service is nonexistent. If you are lucky enough to reach someone they are useless. Don't lose your card or have a charge dispute, they will offer no help at all. STAY AWAY !!! I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Bluebird sucks!!!

Bluebird sucks!!!! If I could rate a zero they wouldn't get the one star. they permanently suspended my account because I tried to transfer funds from banking acct. to bluebird card for use when traveling, primarily the only reason I purchased card. Don't waste your time or money purchasing this card.

Don't waste your time with Bluebird

I got a Bluebird card to shield my debit card #. My plan was to transfer $ from my debit card to Bluebird, then use the Bluebird card at risky venues like gasoline pumps. When I was linking my debit card, the verification was suddenly interrupted with the message "Oops! We're experiencing technical difficulties; try again later." Before that message, Bluebird had successfully used my debit card to charge my bank account with test charges.

I tried a few more times over the subsequent days, always immediately getting the same message.
When I finally called customer service (which is so automated I almost never figured out how to speak to a live person), I was told that I was now forever blocked from linking my debit card because I HAD TRIED TOO MANY TIMES TO LINK IT (!) -- which is a lie, since (1) I was merely following the system's instruction to 'try again later' and (2) every attempt after the first one was blocked from the get-go. Meaning that the reality is that I tried ONE TIME to link my card and the link was successful (i.e., Bluebird charged the card) until Bluebird's system arbitrarily terminated the verification process and forever blocked me from again trying to link my card (while telling me to 'try again later'). It's a Kafka-esque scenario, for sure.

The customer service rep said I was being blocked because I had entered inaccurate information when trying to link my card but I don't see how that's true when the information I entered was correct enough for Bluebird to successfully charge my debit card with 'test charges'!! NONE OF IT MAKES SENSE.

Bluebird banning my debit card from being linked defeats the whole purpose of having the Bluebird card, so I had no choice but to close the account (without their ever being any activity on it) and cut up the card. What a frickin' waste of time and effort.

Not a business you want controlling…

Not a business you want controlling your money. Worst customer service EVER!!!! Don't bother asking to speak with a manager either. All of a sudden they can't hear you and hang up. Automated system is a joke, mobile app is always down. And just when you think it can't get any worse. You're locked out of your account for no reason. Your money is in better hands with a meth head looking for a fix.

Bluebird bank sucks

I open a sub account for my wife, I have to put money on my card then transfer it to hers. She placed multiple orders at the same time using her card. They put over $200 on hold they said they can't talk to me they have to talk to her. I want my $200. They just lost my business.

SS# Mining?

I'm concerned that I was turned down for this debit card despite having a 840 credit score which shouldn't matter anyway since it's a prepaid card. Now they have all of my data including my SS# and I can't get it back. Very fishy.

Bluebird American Express

Bluebird American Express. Is the worst. I was forced to cancel my card after reporting an unauthorized purchase. I was told I could use the old card as long as I don't swipe it. As s result I've accumulated over $300 in insufficient funds fees because whenever I paid for anything online it would authorize then later decline. I've gotten over 10 emails from.bluebird asking me to confirm purchases, each time I did it said restrictions lifted nit they weren't. The representatives were not knowledgeable or at least it didn't seem as they were. No one was helpful. Each person had a different reason why the restriction.was still there after I verified my account several times. This was embarrassing and time consuming. As of today im.no longer a bluebird customer

I called up because there was money…

I called up because there was money missing off my card I was going to make a dispute they tell me I can't dispute this for 10 days I said okay can you transfer was left over on my other card on this card to a different card because I don't want this to be happening again to tell me no same company same card they mail me to I only need one but the mail me too now I can't transfer my money to it I said okay well hold on let me go to school at least rest of my funds off the card and then we went and we'll handle it from there my man tells me no I'm sorry we can't do that I've already canceled your card I tell him we'll why did you cancel my card you need 90 activate my card so I can have my money back so I can get my rest of my money off his card now we

They are absolute trash

They are absolutely trash suspended my account tried to close it they told 10 days to get my remaining balance check. Been almost a month and nothing yet then I call and they say they just sent Tuesday I have to wait 10 more days!! Yall are straight garbage they will never see me a customer.

WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER SEEN!!! THEY STEAL $$

WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER SEEN!!!! They froze my acct due to possible breach a month ago and I STILL DONT HAVE ACCESS. I had an idiot "helping" who froze it before making a password change so I am now homeless wo anything bc of their many ineptitudes. I'd be more productive if I poop in my hand and clap bc I'd have the poop to show from clapping. Terrible everywhere. When it did work it was only accepted at half of the places I tried & 10% of atm. App is bad, but the customer service worse. 0.000☆FU

Update: I finally received my "secure" replacement card yesterday and it took no less than 8 calls to activate. When I finally activated it I went online immediately to check my account and there was already a transfer pending of all the money in acct!!!! How? Idk and they won't answer me. I then attempted to call to stop it. I called 18 times. 18!!!!! Still they did not stop it. I called this morning and it's supposedly stopped but my account is frozen yet again!!! They refuse to let me close my account. I've not had any access to my money in a month!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

This is unbelievable… I too was with…

This is unbelievable… I too was with them for 8 yrs… Held my money hostage for now 10 days, unable to access money. I actually paid a $20 fee to expedite my replacement card a week later no card. Do yourself a favor Do Not Use Bluebird.. Trying to close my account now and I have been on hold for 50minutes… They can’t wire my money to a new account… linking to a new account would take 5 days…. This a horrible experience, not being able to access over 3k of my money…. My money is coming out and never looking back!

The "set alerts" button just redirects back to sign in over and over

I have had my card locked out while using the correct password in the past..... It just would not accept or recognise my own valid password, have to call customer service to reset.

I believe the 2 time this happened they now have a robot to reset password.
So I assumed this has happened a lot with other people.

I just tried to set alerts but when I click on it, it just directs me back to sign in page, after 3 times of clicking "set alerts" then having to sign in and start over I gave up.

I do like the bluebird card and have not had the other major issues I've read here ( thank God).

But please fix your Bluebird app, the online bluebird app is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

We had bluebird for around 8 years of hell

We had bluebird for around 8 years and it has been the worst experience we have ever had.Never can get money atms to work and online account locked our card because we changed our email,we could not pay our bills until the next day.SO BAD.Find another prepaid this was 8 years of HELL.

Been a card holder through several…

Been a card holder through several cards, same account. I recently moved and put stuff in storage 300 miles from my current home. Blue bird claims to have sent a new card at the time I moved, my mail was forwarded and I never received the card. When I called they refused to help me because after six years I didn't remember all my security answers (my security stuff is in storage). I have over $100. On my account and can't access it and they will not help me because" ALL the security answers don't match up!". Guess since I need my money to get my security answers and my current physical card is expired, I'm screwed and they have stolen my money.
