I have been a bluebird member for over 10yrs really good success until recently. 84 calls through customer service to resolve a matter why I have been blocked by the ria walmart cash pick up, I have sent over 50k in the last year I well within the limits, called ria said they were clear each I called bluebird offshore customer service they acted as a block to get to there tech support which is by the way Incomm services at 770 240 6100 of course you will need valerie anderson name incidentally Incomm payment owns bluebird. I ready to sue them because of all the lies I received including their emergency assistance. Good luck with this horrible card.

First of all I have never been so frustrated and outdone I bought this card from Walmart, I could not register it so I discarded it and ordered a new card with my name on it but the merchant that I use this card for put money back on the original card and these people truly acting like they cannot find my money all I have is the last four digits of the card number and the authorization code no one would take a claim no one will try to help me it's just I'm sorry you need the full 15 digits I don't have the card anymore what would have been the point in keeping a card that you can't register so I guess $112 a mine American Express is just going to keep!!!!!!!!!

I never put more than 50 dollars Max on the bluebird card. So I have it for my son to pay for steam cards or lunch. But one time we put 500.00 on the card. I was so excited to have a place to put a little money in case I wanted to surprise my kids with going out to dinner or a gift or something. As soon as I put this larger amount of cash on the card their system locked me out. I spend hours on the phone trying to get back into my account and kept getting locked out. We are not rich so this was a big deal for me because I am a single mom without much money. Anyway when I finally logged in I jumped in my car so fast ran down to the ATM and withdrew almost all of it. They charged me like 25 bucks but still I was glad my money was out of there. Since then I kept the card but we only use it for small things like coffee lunch or game stuff for my son. And it works great if you keep the balance really low. You can even put your own name on the card if you apply on line so that works if you need a second ID or whatever. Anyway I have a bank account so this works for me but I would not make this card your primary bank account at all. hope you are all having a nice day and good luck with the Bluebird Card.

I am extremely disappointed and fed up with Bluebird American Express. I have been with them for several years and in recent months have had continuous issues with my card being locked or frozen for transactions I am fully aware of being made. I no longer get the emails to verify these payments and I end up having to call to get it unlocked. They keep wanting to send a new card but I cannot afford to not be able to access my funds for over a week waiting on a new card. Customer Service is rude and unhelpful. They constantly speak over me and get argumentative, treating me like an idiot. Today I wanted to speak with a supervisor and they straight up refused to let me speak with one. They were not understanding of my predicament and kept reiterating the same unhelpful information over and over. No genuine desire to actually resolve my issue. When I asked again the rep hung up on me. This is extremely unprofessional and infuriating. I am already in the process of setting up an account with Bank of America and I cannot wait to be done with Bluebird for good.
Worst Money Management System Ever!
First of all just because a company is accosiated with an American company does not mean it operates with our values!!!! Clearly this bank is operating under false pretense and doing everything in thier power to keep the money from thier customers as long as possible. I had my tax refund deposited onto this card this year and that was the worst mistake i could have made in life! Upon my deposit hitting my card i started to look for ways to get lump sums of money off the card to pay past due bills and make large purchases. The option presented by bluebird is a money transfer system with walmart called Ria. I followed instructions and attempted many withdrawls using this system, only to have walmart tell me each time there was a vendor failure in thier system and i needed to contact card issuer. Thats where the real problems began and found out this company is not operated here in the US but in some foriegn country by ppl that dont understand customer service at all! I was hung up on multiple times when asking for a supervisor and could never get resolve on why the Ria system was not operating correctly. Then bluebird would constantly put holds on my card when i was spending money on a regular basis from the card, this was so inconvient and annoying so i decided to start pulling all my money off the card using the daily atm withdrawl limit provided of 750 a day. this was so frustrating because during the process day to day they would cut my card off and i would have to call to get the restriction removed over and over again. They would always say it was a fraud protection issue but I know they were trying to hold my funds on thier card and system for as long as they could. even at one point trying to get me to order a new card replacement to stall me out from spending the money that was on the card. I have taken my last deposit and finally card is cleared and closed! I urge anyone thinking of using this horrible card and company to stay away!! they are clearly using the money for bad and trying to steal from thier customers!!!
The new app is a disappointment
The new app is a disappointment! The previous app was fast, accurate and easy to use. Now it is frustratingly slow and sometimes inaccurate. Customer service is very poor!

ZERO STARS!!! I needed my $1,220 in my BlueBird account to pay some bills until my new card arrives from Chase. I was not aware that the BlueBird American Express debit card only has 15 card digits and not 16. Which you are unable to pay bills online with. So, I decided to link my other external bank account and had it verified. Still I was unable to transfer my money from my BlueBird to my external linked account. I had called customer service over 5 times! They were rude and kept transferring me to a non-working number that had disconnected me. BLUEBIRD is a JOKE!
I will transfer my money to Walmart and close this account ASAP, which is tomorrow. RUN from this company!!!

Worst prepaid card I've ever owned!! First off, everytime I use it, it gets flagged by their fraud department. So they send an email and text to approve the purchase, in which I click yes I made the purchase and I still can't use the card. Had to call them yesterday because I couldn't log into my account for 2 weeks because it said their webaite is down. Guess what...it wasn't down! I was flagged by the fraud department and that's why I couldn't log in. Seriously?!? I needed a card to use for gaming purchases...literally under $5 charges and I'm done getting flagged. Closing my account today and switching to a better prepaid card!!
I purchased blue bird card and it's not a reliable company
I purchased blue bird card. Put 500.00 on card. Lost it. 90 min after purchase I contacted bluebird. They advised me to wait 7 to 10 busn days for new card. They advised me that my cars had been used Nordstrom rack. So I waited. New card came. 0 balance. Again I waited 45 min to talk to someone. They advised me that new card I registered under same email and my account was suspended. Wait 24 hours. Register under different email. Funds should be applied. Did this. Waited 0 balance again. Another 45 min hold on phone. This time they sent me 2 fraud dept. I needed to report fraud. After 1 1/2 hours on phone the guy said it would be investigated and should be cleared up in 7 to 10 busn days. I waited. Here's their response by email. Recently you inquired about your charge(s) from your Bluebird® Prepaid Debit Account in the total amount of $500.00. Based upon our investigation we have determined that no error occurred and that transaction(s) in question was authorized. Therefore the transaction(s) is not eligible for credit to your Account.
Got a prepaid card for my kid to use…
Got a prepaid card for my kid to use for her direct deposits from taco bell. 1 hr after she got her FIRST paycheck, they froze the account. Will take months to get access to that 250 bucks. Do not use this card or company. Its a scam 100%. There are so many better options, Chime is wonderful

I would have gave a negative review... But it doesn't allow that..... The customer service is absolutely HORRIBE... They help in NO WAY and are so rude then get upset and even ruder if get smart back to them! When you need help they just repeat and repeat and repeat themselves by just reading what they SEE on your account rather than finding a solution to actually HELP you..... They just repeat and read what they see on your account.. The same stuff I can see... But they won't listen to you issue they just read what your account says and that's all they can process... They won't take the time to hear you out and try to solve your issue....
Honestly I used to love my bluebird... Just go to walmart, load the money on, and have no issues using it..... But this is the second time either have had an issue and customer is APPAULING! NO HELP WHATSOEVER... Like I could work there to and just read people what they can already see on their app.... And just repeat and repeat and repeat it to them... Smh... So annoying... I have NEVER been so frustrated with a company before..... As long as it isnt their money they don't care to truly HELP...

Bluebird Bill Pay Disadvantage Situation
I have been a Bluebird account holder since 2013. It was an amazing card to have until around last year. Today my issue is in regards to their bill pay system. Previously I had a whole deposits and account balances vanish from the system without a trace, inability to access my funds, etc. The struggle has been VERY REAL. I was directed to file a dispute in regards to a missing bill pay in the amount of $548.92. After speaking with my third person who was a supervisor, my timeline as to how long it would take to get my money back into my account is an additional ten more business days depending on how long it will take for the stop payment to go through which could be as little as the second business day from today IF the stop payment goes through successfully on their (Bluebird) end. This by far is not a small amount however, the receiver never got the bill pay that I requested and the monies surely left my account. Bluebird was unable to provide/verify the address as to where it was sent. Bluebird representative(s) stated that they had no information in the system to see where it was delivered to HOWEVER they could confirm delivery.... WHERE????? The issue for me is that I don't want to place a stop payment and the bill pay "pops up" out of nowhere causing more issues on the other end. We have passed their 5-7 business day guarantee. I will be moving all of my funds from this card and closing all cards linked to this account. This card and its provisions no longer serve me or the simple purposes intended to try to maintain a decent financial relationship of any kind .

This company is terrible. They upgraded website and app. I haven't been able to log into my account in 2 months. I call they give a ticket to support still nothing. I have called 6 times just this past two weeks to get a current statement. I asked for a rep in America and the lady I talked to for the first time said she is in America and proceeded to cuss me out for asking that question. Seriously cussed me out yelling. I asked if she was going to help after 4 mins of her yelling at me. I really needed the statement and I was about to explode. She sent it. I have since changed all my direct deposits to go else where. They never listen to their customers, they never solve anything. They are terribly rude and nothing works. Double holds always on my account for two or three weeks for one to drop off after the other cleared, so my balance was never right. I can't say one nice thing about them. They need to go out of business!! Sued!
THE WORST PLACE IVE EVER DEALT WITH
If I could give them a negative star rating I would. I had 2 pending charges put on my account from a hotel that I called and even 3-way the hotel in and bluebird in together where the hotel said they never put that charge on there. The amount was over $600. As I backtracked I found over $500 more charges from Walmart and Amazon from different states I did not make. I disputed them and this still hasn’t been resolved. It has been since March 2021. They issued me a new card which they won’t let me activate.
I live off disability n my disability checks have been eaten up.
Now to top it off they accepted my stimulus pymt but now declined my income tax refund. They are saying it is being sent back to the irs.
The people here are rude and inconsiderate n not helpful at all. They won’t let you talk to a manager n they say the legal Dep’t don’t accept calls. I am so upset right now.
