Not a good future for this comoany

A company designed to rip off passengers. Even if you arrive with a small bag, they weigh it, and if it exceeds 4 kg (mine was 5 kg), they charge you extra. The staff is unfriendly, including the crew on the plane. If you don’t have to, it’s better not to fly with this airline.

**Beware!

**Beware!! Scammers!!**
Disgraceful conduct and a contemptuous attitude.

Do not buy any airline ticket from them, even if they are the only airline left on earth. Look for other airlines that fly to Greece, even if it costs a bit more. In the long run, it will be worth it. Trust me, this is for your own good. And if you still decide to do business with them, remember this review very well and understand that you made the mistake of your life.

Even at check-in at Ben Gurion Airport, the treatment of passengers is dismissive and disrespectful. The representatives stand there holding payment terminals, looking for unjustified opportunities to charge money. They do not refund money for flight delays that exceed the time set by law. There is no response at all. They do not reply, they are unavailable. This is company policy. Defamatory conduct toward customers. They refuse to refund money even in cases where the law requires a refund.

They owe me thousands of dollars for airline tickets I purchased for my entire family. The flight was canceled and there was no response from them. Suddenly the company vanished. I have been waiting for over a year!!!!! And still no acknowledgment or response. The money is gone. A disgusting company!

No response by phone, email, WhatsApp, or forms on the website.
Rude and disrespectful representatives!

One more important thing. If you have already purchased a ticket, remember that their airport baggage scales are biased against passengers. On one of my flights with them, I decided to weigh my luggage on another airline’s scale, and it showed a difference of 2 kilos!!!

They should be ostracized from the universe and no one should do any business with them!!
How is it that no media outlet has exposed the biggest failure in the country? Someone must wake up and protect the public from this awful company.

Flight back changed, random selections

On the flight back they changed the schedule at the last minute and added a "technical" stop on our flight.
This results in more than 2 hours delay on our flight, no refunds of any kind.
In addition to that, we had a 2nd security check, they said that '20% of the passengers will be checked'
I laughed because they checked only us and another pair of people.
This was extremely unpleasant reminds of selection that was done on 1939...
Never flying again.
Suggest to avoid.

Disaster airline — never book with them

Our flight was supposed to leave at 14:50 CET. Airport process was perfect — no lines, fast boarding.

And then the nightmare started: we were locked inside a hot aircraft for almost 50 minutes — only because the airline decided to wait for around 40 people who couldn’t be bothered to arrive on time.

Everyone was clearly told to be at the gate in advance — but instead of respecting passengers who followed the rules, the airline punished us, leaving us to sit in overheated air and tiny, uncomfortable seats with almost zero legroom.

This company clearly doesn’t care about customers, time, or basic comfort.
If you don’t want to ruin your trip — do yourself a favor and avoid this airline at all costs.

This airline is a catastrophe

This airline is a catastrophe! I'm so angry, I'm writing this while sitting in the airplane. We were supposed to take off 50 minutes ago and are still on the ground, and I didn’t get the window seat I paid for yesterday because they made a mistake. Unfriendly, unreliable, unprofessional. Never again!

Absolutely terrible. The way they treated me and the way they try to get every cent from me was absolutely disgusting.

I am very disappointed with my experience with Bluebird Airways. After a very long delay, my flight was eventually canceled, and I've had to chase their customer service for quite some time without any response. I hope they will improve their refund process and communication with customers.

Just don't

The average amount of hours each flight has been delayed was 3. They don't let you know of course. I usually find it out when people are still waiting in the gate 40 minutes since it was supposed to be open but no one's there. Then they tell you that in 10 minutes everyone will be boarding. They keep telling you this every 10 minutes for 3 hours. The aircraft seat diagram doesn't match the airplane seating order so I'm paying money for regular seats instead of the fire exit ones. Worst experience ever

The changed my flight schedule by an hour and fifteen minutes and stayed that their terms and conditions under aviation law does not oblige them to refund. I strongly recommend anyone booking with this airline to be really cautious. From the reviews I have read now this seems like a constant occurrence and not worth the risk for a cheaper flight.

J’avais un vol retour à 13h30, mais visiblement ils ont décidé que 10h05 c’était plus fun sans me demander mon avis, évidemment.
Je suis même pas encore en vacances qu’ils m’en raccourcissent déjà la fin. Efficacité redoutable, surtout pour gâcher la détente à l’avance !
Merci Blue Bird, vous réinventez le concept du “service client surprise »…

Ah, Blue Bird Airways… the only airline that makes you time travel before your vacation even starts!
I booked a return flight for 1:30 PM, but apparently, they thought 10:05 AM sounded more exciting and of course, they didn’t bother asking.
I’m not even on vacation yet, and they’re already cutting it short for me. Now that’s efficiency!
Thanks, Blue Bird, for redefining “customer service”.

terrible experience

terrible experience!
We flew with the company for a vacation in Prague on the eve of Sukkot 2025 - flightto destination there was a 3-hour delay. on the return flight there was an hour delay.
Very low standard on the plane. No legroom, very crowded. They are very strict about the weight of the luggage.
The flight experience was unpleasant - we finished the 2 flights with nausea and headaches (this has never happened to us on any flight before)
we reconmend avoid this company at all costs and look for another alternative

Unresponsive Airline After Flight Delay

My flight with Bluebird Airways was delayed, and it’s been impossible to reach anyone for support. After more than two months, I still haven’t received any response regarding compensation according to EU passenger rights. Their customer service is practically non-existent — very disappointing experience.

Humiliation

Humiliation, Degradation, and Discrimination on Blue Bird Airways Flight from Bergamo to Israel

On Friday, September 26, 2025, I experienced one of the most humiliating and degrading incidents of my life on Blue Bird Airways flight BZ153 from Bergamo (BGY) to Israel.

I arrived on time – already at 3:30 p.m. I was at the check-in counter with my passport and suitcase. For an hour and a half (!) I stood there, while the ground agent deliberately ignored me.

During this time, I also witnessed another shocking case: a mother who attempted to send her minor son to Israel was refused by the airline. I stood by her side and tried to assist – and from that moment, it was clear that I was “marked” by the agent.

While she continued to serve other passengers – both Israelis and foreigners – I was left invisible. At 4:55 p.m., just five minutes before the official check-in closure (even though the flight itself was delayed to 8:10 p.m.), the ground agent threw my passport onto the counter, picked up her belongings, and walked away.

I was left alone, in the pouring rain, with my luggage. The police refused to assist, the airline representatives disappeared, and I had to manage everything on my own.

This incident caused not only financial and logistical harm but, above all, severe humiliation, degradation, and deliberate discrimination – bordering on antisemitism.

This was not an operational mistake – it was a conscious and arbitrary decision by a ground agent to deny me boarding and to perform an unacceptable “selection” of who may fly and who may not.

My demand is simple and clear:

The immediate dismissal of the ground agent responsible for this disgraceful behavior, and a firm guarantee from the airline that such a shameful incident will never happen again.

Civil aviation cannot tolerate such conduct, and no passenger should ever be forced to go through what I experienced.

Our experience with Bluebird…

I recently traveled with Bluebird Airways from Tel Aviv to Crete and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with their flight schedule and communication.

On our outbound flight from Tel Aviv, the departure was initially delayed by 4 hours, then changed to 2 hours, which still ended up being a long and frustrating wait, especially on a holiday evening.

On our return flight to Israel, things were even more difficult. At the very last minute, we received an email saying the flight would be delayed by 2 hours. After the scheduled time had already passed, we were put on a bus to the airport, only to find ourselves back at the same village an hour later because the flight was further delayed — this time by almost 5 hours.

Overall, the repeated last-minute changes, poor communication, and significant delays caused a lot of stress and inconvenience during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend flying with Bluebird Airways.

This was the biggest mistake of my life. The delays, the non-existent customer care, impossible online check in. Better walk than fly with them. Based on the European aviation law they needed to pay compensation. I saw nothing ever! Not even an answer.
