I'm just trying to book a reservation, and the website doesn't work. I put in a city leaving from, and then the city going to, and then try to put in a date, and is clears the departing city. Dumbest website ever. I keep hearing, "leave us alone, we don't want your business."
Unacceptable refund delay
Unfortunately I cannot give no stars. On the 27th October Israir cancelled our outbound flight which ruined the whole planned trip. 5 weeks following the cancellation we still await a refund of the fares. Every other issue with other parties (hotel, car parking etc.) was resolved within 5 days but nothing from Israir. 2 emails to them totally ignored. Update: refund received 8th December.

It was a very bad experience boarding your flight, from the inspections and the uncomfortable things. Among all the passengers, I and my friends were taken for inspection. They had to take off my pants and some clothes to be inspected. My bag containing my passport, wallet, and some personal items was inspected. They threw the items on the table and made me collect them after throwing them, while other passengers were wandering around the airport. My friends and I were waiting for the company's inspection procedures to end, and we were the last passengers to board the plane. Also, an employee came to me to ask for the code for my large bag that I had sent to the plane in advance instead of checking it in front of me. Otherwise, why would they put codes on the bag so that only its owner could open it, right?! After they took the code, they searched the bag and caused the wheel of the bag to break, instead of rearranging the things as they were. Sakhab damaged my friend's bag due to the inspection. I will not book another ticket with your company, and to anyone who asks me about you, I will tell them: it is better for you to book a flight with another company and stay away from this one. It is not even better for you to go near it.

Worst airline ever. Oh well, maybe Arkia is. Not sure. Even worse than El AL. If you like yourself even a little bit, just avoid. Never flies on time, if it even does. Uses wet leases from térciary providers. No service to be heard of. You are on your own. Good luck

2. They canceled my check in, now I need to wait hours in the lines

*Israir – Very disappointing experience.*
I arrived at Rhodes airport 45 minutes before the flight (just 5 minutes after check-in closed), with no lines at all – yet the staff refused to let me on.
Zero flexibility, zero patience.
When I tried to buy a new ticket – the website showed a reasonable price, but at the desk they charged me nearly double.
It feels like they’re constantly looking for ways to charge more – not a customer-friendly attitude at all.
Would not recommend.
Impossible to check in online
Purchased tickets online for Israir flight from Prague to Ben Gurion to complete a journey from London (flying from London to Prague by Easyjet with 1 hour 15 minutes between flights at Prague). Tried to check in for the Israir flight on line. Sends OTP with 30 second limit to use - but the OTP does not arrive in 30 seconds and does not work. Tried repeatedly. So may be stranded in Prague.
Update: We arrived in Prague and went straight to the gate for the Israir flight, where the staff dealt with the check-in. So we were able to take the flight after all. The plane was very clean inside, cabin staff were satisfactory. The flight left about 45 minutes later than scheduled but arrived only about 10 minutes late.
No refund, no communication
My flight from Vilnius to Tel Aviv on the 16.6 was cancelled due to a war situation. They promised a refund. I filled the request form and sent it and I'm waiting.
The problem is you can not speak with them. They don't get back to you on the phone. On whatsapp the bot terminates the chat when you write the topic.
I know that at least one other airline already paid the money, but here they don't even bother to communicate with you.

Never fly ISRAIR
I arrived at the gate 1 hour before the flight, the check in was closed even tho other companies had their check in available, telling me i need to be 3 hours before the flight but there was NOTHING WRITTEN about that in the ticket. I left stranded in sofia, they didnt even want to talk to me and when they did they shouted that i just need to book another ticket because its my own fault
Avoid at all costs
I wish I had read the reviews before booking. Avoid at all cost - the airline is completely awful and messed up my booking.
Do not rely on Israir
Strongly advise not to rely on this company.
I arranged a flight to Cypress from the U.K with another company and from there to Tel Aviv with Israir.
Israir changed the flight time which entailed that I would miss my connection.
Due to the change of time I had to cancel the flight and only received 25% of the fare back according to Israir's biased policy.
This is not a professional company and they have no regard for their customers.
Be warned.
They took my money
They took my money, cancelled the flight and returned me only 103 dollars, while it was cost 173$. They didn't even say to me that my flight was cancelled, I figured it out by myself when checked the site. They won't respond to your mails never. Don't even wait, straight to court.

Israir does whatever they want and the cusotmers are the ones who suffer. They broguht a flight 14 hours (!) earlier and I had to shorten my vacation and make arrangements accordingly. They do not have a telephone number for customer service (have you seen something similar ?!) and they do not answer any email too. Their flights are commonly delayed.
DO NOT USE THEM!!! EVER
They change the timing of 2 flights that I had with them which caused me to missed on my connections and day of work, after being on the phone for 2 hours somebody picked up the phone and had the gall to tell me that in theirs terms it says that they allowed to change and cancel flights as they wish!!!! So it's my responsibility when booking with them. Never heard of such a thing! How can anyone plan anything with such a unreliable company??? I wanted to cancel my flights, they wanted 90% of the tickets price for cancelation fees!! I'm every week on the plain and I NEVER experience such scammers. STAY AWAY FROM THEM
