For the first two years I’ve thought Bluefin were great hoverboards, works fine, had no issues etc.
2 years in the charger has broken, I have struggled to find one the same that will fit.
And spoke to blue fin who sent me to their suppliers.
Went to their suppliers who no longer do this charger.
Went back to blue fin only to be told to try Amazon or eBay.
Ridiculous that I cannot get a charger that works after only 2 years use.
Have looked all over online and been told in an electricals store that I will be luck to find one the same.
So now I have a hoverboard which doesn’t work.
Repair caused irreparable damage which refused to address
The motor in my son’s hoverboard failed when just out of warranty. I never expected a free repair but Bluefin offered to repair as if under warranty.
However, when it was returned it had replacement / faulty wheels containing sharp, cut metal edges and rattling internal parts. Neither of these problems existed previously.
They agreed to put it right but when returned, the new wheels would not rotate as they were not fitted correctly, catching the wheel arch, and an additional electronic error had appeared.
They then refused to sort it out after damaging the item beyond repair (which was not the case before they started).
They refused to address my complaint.
I then sent a request for resolution with the support of citizen’s advice bureau but they ignored that too.
I am still waiting waiting a year on….
The worst, most dishonest company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
I would actively recommend that their products are avoided due to the lack of integrity and total disregard for their legal responsibilities to consumers.

I live in Germany. I ordered an SUP in January and paid 539 Euro directly per Paypal. I never got a delivery. I wrote a lot of E-Mails. At last the company doesn`t answer. Till now I lost my money. Now I try to get it back by another way. Very bad service.
10” Cobra Hoverboards unreliable! poor product. Bluefin OK
We purchased 2 10” Cobra Hoverboard Segway s with Hoverkart Kits in June 2020 One arrived damaged, but we went through the return service, which needed to be done completely on-line , whilst it was slightly annoying not being able to speak to someone, we did get a good service and a replacement , but it is now February 2021 and
unfortunately one of them is not charging, the light goes green to tell us it is charged immediately (despite not being charged) We have left it on trickle charge overnight, with no success. The product is still under warranty but I am worried we will not get it fixed?!?!Whilst customer service has been OK, I think the products are not great, its a huge amount of money to spend on an unreliable product, You tube is full of people fixing issues with these boards... umm what does that tell you???

Terrible customer service and I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing to think twice. I ordered a treadmill on Sunday the 7th Feb as it was showing in stock and I was on annual leave and not returning to work until 17th Feb so wanted to ensure I was home to accept a large delivery. Despite the item being in stock when I ordered it, I still hadn’t received my delivery by the 16th Feb and bought an alternative one on Amazon so it would come before I returned to work.
The customer service is terrible and everything is done via email and can take days to get a reply. I was told on the 16th (around lunchtime) that it was actually out for delivery and if I didn’t want it I should refuse it. I did what they said and refused delivery and I’ve emailed to let them know that I refused the delivery, I’ve had no reply, I’ve since emailed chasing my refund and I’m still yet to have a reply.
I appreciate delivery companies are busier due to the pandemic, but I’ve ordered many items over the last year and not experienced any delays with any other courier, perhaps they need to think about ditching UPS and going with an alternative courier, these are large items and people need to ensure they are home to accept deliveries.
I’ve since read other reviews and there is a common theme.... UPS is poor, as is the customer service at Bluefin and only email contact.

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering from this company. The hoverboard was delivered WITHOUT A CHARGER. Yes, it appears that Bluefin Trading Ltd are experts at doing this because I am not the first reviewer on here to have experienced this. Their customer service is dreadful. Email only. Copied and pasted standard script. Vague waffle. They would not commit to providing a charger. We chased them several times over the course of 3 weeks. In the end, we gave up and returned the hoverboard and bought one from somewhere else. Then we had to chase them several times for a refund. Refund finally received but they have not refunded the £25 cost of returning the faulty hoverboard. So we are £25 out of pocket and they pretty much ruined my kid’s Christmas by sending us a hoverboard that was only usable for 30 minutes. Absolute cowboys. Avoid!

Works fine after along time

About 2 years ago, and it's still working just like new, it's very reliable and charges very fast. It has had some big bumps in the past but I only had to recalibrate it after that it worked fine, I would recommend buying a bluefin hoverboard.

I was sent a Bluefin Hoverboard and the power supply is dead. The after-sales customer support is very slow and poor.
Hugely disappointed with their response. I contacted them through the chat function and they didn't care, just interested in selling something. Do not use them, very poor.

We ordered and paid for 3 hover boards with go-karts on 10 April 2020 for three children's birthday presents and we have still not received 2 of the go-karts. I have spent literally hours in email correspondence with the company and, 5 weeks on, we are no further forward in understanding when we will receive the missing items. The company blames the courier company because of the the pandemic but we have no tracking details to check what's going on and have not experienced this problem with the many other companies we have placed online orders with over the last few weeks. Our past experience of the company was good prior to this order but I caution against placing an order which has such a big problem with its chosen courier (they claim x4 go-karts sent and none of them delivered).

Bought 2 hoverboards within 1 month of purchase both had to be replaced, go kart seat cracked then came off attachment and paint wore off hoverboard where the attachment was attached to hoverboard not good surely this should wear better than this!
Battery life short only last 20mins, even though on the website it claims batteries last much longer than this, paintwork and hoverboard cracks very easily very poor quality.

Placed an order on 23rd March, estimated delivery was 2 days with tracking. Very excited to buy an exercise bike and get myself fit during lockdown.
But... after several days of checking the tracking link, there was no delivery info... so 28th March, I asked Bluefin what was going on... apparently they had sent the wrong tracking info — the item was sent with a different company because it was too heavy for their normal service. I'm no expert but isn't fitness equipment usually heavy? This unsettled me.
By the way, I placed my order at bluefinfitness.com but the order confirmation comes from bluefintrading.co.uk which redirects to bluefinhoverboard.com - even more unsettling.
After checking the new tracking link it appeared the parcel was mis-delivered. Who has my exercise bike? God knows.
Chased this with the courier by phone, they answered almost immediately and told me to contact Bluefin.
Got in touch with Bluefin, again, was told they were chasing the courier, and that it would be several days.
It's now 16th April — order not received — emails going unanswered for days.
This whole process has been exhausting.

just purchased a beast hoverboard that is faulty and starting to surge forward. Tried to contact Bluefin but no answer , sent an email and have had no response. PLEASE ,,PLEASE do not risk your child with a company that is not resolving safety issues.
faulty Hover-shoes
I’ve bought from bluefin previously and had no problem because everything worked however this Christmas I bought my son some hover shoes that did not work. They wouldn’t charge so I contacted the company and after suggesting ways to fix it they agreed they needed returning, they provided a returns label and I returned them on the 5th of January. I received a message from the courier saying they had been received by bluefin. After a couple of weeks of hearing nothing I emailed for an update and was told it would take 28days. I emailed again and I was told that they didn’t have the correct label on (I used the ones they provided) so had gone into ‘quarantine’! When I asked for a refund on the faulty item I was told they wouldn’t refund. I then very quickly received a message saying they had found them and the technical team were looking at them. The same day I received an email saying they had been shipped and I could track my parcel but provided no tracking number or even the name of the company they had used. I’m now waiting for an email to clarify this but have a feeling we’ll be very lucky to receive anything back. Most upsetting when it was my sons Christmas present and he’s still asking about them. I would never buy from them again.

We purchased a Hoverboard for over £200 from Bluefin for a Christmas present for my son, and within 3 hours it was broken. The bluetooth function stopped working so I emailed the company and they said this software was not their issue and I had to contact the ‘developer’. So basically - you purchase a finished product from Bluefin but If it goes wrong they will not reimburse or replace. It’s criminal. Avoid at all costs!

I bought a 'refurbished' hover board for my sons birthday. The board did not work at all. It cost me over £20 to send it back- money I was unable to re-coup from blue fin. I also had a very disappointed boy on his birthday. Poor products, poor service.
What a great company
What a great company. I recently purchased a 10" Cobra Swegway for my sons 13th birthday and after about 3 full charges it was clear there was a problem with the battery not holding charge. My son got about 40 mins of use every time instead of 4-6 hours as stated on website.
I contacted Bluefin via email over Easter holidays and they responded as soon as they could on the next working day. The support process is a tad annoying as you can't actually speak to a human but Lauren the Support Manager was just excellent.
After a few emails, Bluefin sent me a fully paid returns label as the board was still under 14 days old and I sent the faulty item back under warranty as agreed. The faulty board was received by Bluefin the very next day and they kept me up to date throughout the whole process. They emailed me stating they had found the fault but are going to send me a brand new Swegway for next day delivery or I could have a full refund. I opted for the new board, so from the time of sending back the faulty board, to receiving new board it must have been 4 days in total. Fantastic service!!!!
They could have just repaired the board but because it was faulty from new they offered to replace It or a full refund. You can't ask for better Technical support then that. Lauren you were just amazing and made the whole process so easy. THANK YOU!!!!!
Only negative I have is that the battery life on the replacement 10" Cobra is around 2 hours from a full charge and not 4-6 hours as advertised on their website. Bluefin have confirmed this to be the case and isn't a fault with the battery as the replacement board was checked thoroughly before shipping. My son is happy with 2 hours but please bare that in mind when ordering.
