My latest Blurb book is my annual review of our family, told in pictures - photographs we have taken throughout the year. I have 11 years of these books. I have also made separate books of trips we have taken, and our children's weddings. I spend about three months building them, and they run to 240 pages. The books come to me with jackets and just the default paper versions. They are lovely, and most people coming into our home love to flip through them.

I love the flexibility of making my own page layouts, and saving them. Advice to new users for the same purpose - the book will only be as good as the photos you take. So use a good camera, or a latest smart phone, and take lots of them.

Each book teaches me something about how to improve my books. This time, I used black font on dark blue background on a couple of pages, and should have made the type white (or lighter). Live & learn! Frames help delineate multiple photos on a page.

NOTE: There is a certain creakiness (an audible sound) to the binding of my latest book. I don't notice it on previous books. Hoping this is not a sign that something has changed in the basics of the binding.

I have been using Blurb since 2009. It is by far one of the easiest, user friendly and affordable photo book solutions out there. I am creating one family album each year with over thousand photos and hundreds of pages (I take alot of pictures). The app is easy to use, the templates are various and customizable, the quality of the book is amazing, I always order hard cover. The price is really good, especially when you receive one of their discount offers. I recommend it!!!

I love Blurb's premium magazines and have used them for many purposes. This time I created a companion guide for an artist talk, and was very happy (as always) with the product.

Program is easy to use and send in for print. Quality of book is great. Amazingly quick delivery. I have made several photo books using Blurb and will continue to use and recommend this product.

Easy to use. Great results. My photobook is even better than expected. I will use them again and again and I will recommend them highly to family and friends. I received the final product fast and on time.

I am happy with the publication of my book.The quality colour and finished product are a high standard. I was and I am still confused over the selling procedure of my book. I asked a virtual question and didn’t get a reply therefore a bit in limbo. I wish I could actually talk to a staff member at Blurb but there isn’t a contact number therefore I bought 3 copies of my book but not sure if I have done the “ selling” part properly and never will.

The images came out great, but I’m very disappointed as the book came in with bent corners. It was a gift for a friend and I think it’s unacceptable to hand in a book at that price with bent corners.

I have used Blurb for all of my travel photo books and the did not disappointment. The books are such professional quality, very well done!!

Book looks fine, and printed and shipped in a timely manner. Do find the shipping charges high though! Customer service was also helpful when needed.

The quality of the product shipped was great. About 8 hours afters I submitted my order, I realized I had miscounted, and I needed one more copy, I know this was after the 3 hours cancel window.
I sent a message to customer service asking if I could add one copy to the order. I never heard back. I would have been fine if the answer was no - it was my fault. I would have been thrilled if you said yes. Silence is the worst outcome.

I have made many photo books & like the quality of the finished product. However I do not like the 8x10 size. I wish you would offer the 81/2x 11size.

High quality printing and perfect binding. I never regret renting books through Blurb - the quality surpasses even the most critical eyes. Others may reduce books at less cost, but the final result from Blurb leaves them in the dust.
Overall great value.

I developed my photo book in Adobe InDesign using the Blurb template and uploaded it no problem. Great quality book reasonable price. I selected the imagewrap hard cover and the luster paper, great contrast, detail and color fidelity.

Lovely books with great covers. Easy layout and quick turnaround. The only less-than-perfect aspect I would say is that the image quality inside could be a little sharper and the paper inside more lustrous

Love the site, however would like to see more discounts on what you consider trade books. If your not trading or selling your books you should be able to get the same discounts as for example a photo book. It would also to have the 'sales' right on the Blurb website or better yet something that comes up on your personal Blurb page, so that when you are working on a book you are alerted to a sale.
