A technician from BMC came here to fix…

A technician from BMC came here to fix rear fog light which was nearside for Tesla Model S imported from Netherlands , not even Tesla service center could not able to do it. But Mike did it with first time right and everything was perfect. Outperformed Tesla. Thanks BMC!

I had BADA and his team fit PPF to my car and could not be more pleased with the very high standard and when my car was returned the finish is amazing and if you are considering this treatment for your car you will not find a better company to deal with 5 stars all round

Do not use this COW BOY from BMC car…

Do not use this COW BOY from BMC car care services.

Called BMC to look at an electric problem on my wife's Mazda MX5, the ignition did not operate the startor motor.

BMC was going to charge me £380, I felt this was exorbitant, we eventually agreed a fee of £250 as he was insistent in charging me a call out fee of £100. (He is not vat registred)

He spent under an hour on the vehicle and told me it was a loose wire. I paid the £250.

After 48 hours my wife whent to use the Mazda and had the exact same problem.

I called BMC to inform him the same problem exists. He told me it could be another problem, possable a blown fuse, and could not get to check the fault after 4 days, and said he would charge me an additional £100 call out if it was another problem.

I did not have any confidance in this COW BOY and took it to a reputable Japanese vehicle specialist. They found it was a loose wire, and it need to be cut back and proply soldered. They charged me £125 including VAT.

This was a vast difference in price compared to being ripped off by BMC, charges from £380 initial to £250, and was going to charge a further £100 call out to check the work that he supposedly had repaired, claiming that it could be another problem.

Not only does BMC have no pride in their repairs but also provide a rip-off price.

RESPONSE TO BMC
I gave my review on the 16/5/2024, the fact it has taken you 11 months to respond this being the 11/04/2025, only proves my point the COW BOY outfit BMC Car Service operates and cannot be trusted nor believed in what they say.

UPDATE TO BMC RESPONSE
Firstly, your changes of £380 was a rip-off.

Secondly, you then quoted me of £250, which I agreed to pay.

Thirdly, within 48 hours you repairing the fault the same problem reoccurred.

Fourthly, you did not offer me a free followup, you make excuses its not you fault and if you came down and it was a further issue, I would have to pay a call out of a further £100. A reputable company would have honoured they repairs and come out to checked their repairs, not over the phone take the defencive approach, which doesn't inspire confidence in the company.

Fifty, you were not going to attend to check the fault until after 4 days, leaving the customer without an operating vehicle for 4 days. Specially having paid £250, which leaves no confidence in any thing you say.

Sixthly, the Mazda specialist said that you should have cut back the corroded connection of the loose wire and solder it, which they did and charged me £125 plus vat. We have not had a problem since then.

Seventhly, the fact you don't check your reviews, considering Trustpoilet would have immediately contact you, which you ignore. Therefore it can't be as you suggest your responding in the interest of future customers, because it has taken you 11 months to respond which
shows you are a company that has no professional standards.

Finally, the more you want to debate this in the public forum, only shows any failed work you do you take a defencive approach. Customers should be made aware of your rip-off service. and better to go to a reputable garage, which in my case only cost me £125 plus vat for a proper repair.

In response to your response dated 13/04/2025.

You asked for clarification on the price I was charged, it was £125 Including vat, the "pluse vat" was a typo error. Even if I was to be charged plust vat (which is not the case) your charges equates to over 65% over the price I was charged by the garage, which rectified your shoddy repair.

You demonstrate your total arrogance by making excuses for your rip-off charges and bad workmenship.

All you do is continue to argue and bicker, which hopefully other people will recognise, reading your responses which demonstrates total lack of maturity and customer care.

You initially refused to pay the standard call-out and diagnostic fee, even though this was clearly explained before attending. After discussing, we agreed on a reduced fixed price of £250, which covered diagnosis and repair — well below the original quote of £380 that included potential labour for a deeper issue.

The issue was identified as a loose wire, which was secured during the visit. The car started and worked when we left.

You called over a week later claiming the same issue had returned. I offered to come check the car for free as a courtesy, and simply mentioned that if it turned out to be a new, unrelated problem (which happens often in intermittent electrical faults), then a standard call-out fee would apply — only if it wasn’t related to the original repair.

You refused this, and instead took the car to another garage, which claimed they soldered the same wire. That’s your right, but it doesn’t prove the original job was poorly done — in many cases, underlying issues take time to fully reveal themselves.

You also left out a key detail: you tried to leave without paying, and I had to withhold the key until the agreed amount was paid.

We work hard to deliver quality mobile services, and we stand by our work and prices. We have many satisfied customers. It's unfortunate that you're using a platform to vent, but please be honest about what happened.

Your latest comment only reinforces the need for us to clarify the facts — again. It’s unfortunate that rather than engaging constructively, you’ve chosen to focus on the time delay as a reason to discredit us.

Let’s be clear: our delay in response was not due to indifference but simply because we do not routinely monitor old reviews. That said, your feedback was eventually brought to our attention, and we felt it was important to respond — not just for you, but for the benefit of future customers who deserve the full context.

The situation was explained in detail in our previous reply: you were charged a reduced rate, the fault was resolved at the time, and you later declined a free follow-up offer. The fact that a different garage made further adjustments later doesn’t negate the work we did or prove it was incorrect.

We’re happy to stand accountable for our work, but not for misrepresentations. We’ve dealt with this matter professionally, and we stand by both the service provided and the facts as stated.

Pricing: You initially claimed the other garage charged you £125 including VAT, then later said £125 plus VAT — which is it? This inconsistency, along with other contradictions in your review, makes it difficult to take your claims at face value.

Delayed response: You criticise our response coming months later, yet you’re still editing your review to this day. We don't live on review sites, but we do care about fairness, and we respond when time allows.

We respect all feedback, even critical ones, but your review appears less focused on facts and more on defamation. We’ve explained our side and wish you all the best moving forward.

Back to showroom condition

My car was covered in some kind of lacquer, I could barely see through the front screen. Mike came and found the lacquer covered most of the car. He spent several hours working on my car and it’s now in showroom condition!
Mike is extremely polite and clearly knows what he’s doing. Excellent job and would highly recommend

An excellent, polite, no pressure approach, The car was exactly what it said and more from the description, my husband is a mechanic for over 30 years experience and he had nothing but praise for the detailed and accurate information Tom gave to us about the vehicle, we will definitely be going back when we need our next car. BMC fantastic

I used BMC to remove an ugly water mark from my door. Great, friendly service and the mark was gone in less than an hour. Will use again and highly recommended!

If I could give them 10/10 I would

If I could give them 10/10 I would. Customer service excellent, used car condition superb, aftersales customer service outstanding. Rikki kept use in the loop at every stage our vehicle was being prepared and even went out of his way to send seat some information that we required. 3 month warranty also gives piece of mind too. Aftersales, Paul couldn't do enough in order to support with a couple of amateur issues we had and sorted the radio out within a few minutes in addition to offering a hot beverage. As a taxi driver from now on our first stop will always be Brockham Motor Company as their cars are in really good condition. Thank you BMC

Worth every penny!

The team were polite, efficient and thorough. They worked for hours in the rain and did such an amazing job, my car looked like new! Worth every penny! Highly recommended!

Professionalism and Dedication

Great recommendation. I turned to this company to repair the scratches on the hood. At the same time I took a package with an exterior cleaning at a great price. It was a great choice because the services provided by Mike (BMC) were excellent. Lots of passion, professionalism, dedication and very polite. I will definitely use your services again. I got my car fixed by bmc , was excellent work , brilliant to perfection you could not see it any more. the guy work with such professional ways to make the job done. money well spend in a very reasonable price. Highly recommend

We bought a jaguar from here the other day and David who we dealt with was really helpful and not pushy at all. We had a small problem which David sorted out straight away with no hassle. My husband loves his new car and after dealing with other garages that have been awful I would highly recommend this garage. Excellent choice of cars and nice helpful people.

Porsche 911 Bonnet Restored - A++ Service

My Porsche 911 had a number of scratches on the bonnet but Mike from BMC Care did an excellent job at getting rid of them and restoring the cars factory shine. Highly recommended and will definitely use again.
