Broken croc!
I don’t think the company cares about the reviews it’s given! I bought a pair of crocs for my son March 29/26. After only having them for two hours and wearing them in the house the strap broke from the croc. I took them back with the receipt and was told that’s not how they were sold to me so they won’t exchange them! WHAT???? Yes this is why I’m trying to exchange them, you don’t stand behind your product!!!
still no pants or money
I purchased 2 pairs of pants to gift my son for his birthday. I received email confirmation of my order, of when it was shipped and one from Canada Post saying my delivery came successfully, however, it did not, pants never arrived. I contacted Boathouse who said i have to wait so many days before they contact Canada Post, then once a claim starts with Canada Post i have to wait 15 more business days. That time came and Canada Post denied the claim because i didnt respond to their email...but guess what...no email, no phone call, no nothing from Canada Post, so how am i supposed to respond...??! so, no pants and still no refund...and of course, my son didnt get the pants he really wanted for his birthday. At the time of leaving this review, my claim is still ongoing.
this is the 3rd (and final time) Boathouse has made a complete mess of my purchase.
Never Shop From Them - Scammers
What a scammer company. I returned my shoes in a box and they did not refund me saying you put tape on the box and the shoe were used were as it was not I returned it in 15 days of time I just tried a rock on my my got stuck on the shoes. The customer service are so rude and slow. They forced me to keep the gift card.

We went to celebrate our friends birthday, we had our starters first then went out for smoking when we come back our main courses was on the table. My steak was very hard to chew and when I told my complain they changed it but the problem was their explanation.. They told we did not let them know that we are going to smoke the reason my steak was hard to eat is waiting!!
We had break only 5 minutes and been blamed for it.

I paid 60 dollars for 2 pairs of volcom track pants. I opened the package to find a clear see through bag and that's it, no track pants. The only customer support is through email, no live chat available. I emailed customer service with my issue and they sent me a photo of the weight and said that because of the weight, they can confirm I got what I paid for. I was not given my money back, got scammed for 60 dollars and now have to dispute this through my bank and that's a 50/50. Don't order from them.

Worst meal we have ever had
Worst meal we have ever had. The toilets are grotty with no toilet roll or soap. The garden area is full of weeds and cobwebs. The chips were so overcooked you couldn’t pick them up with a fork. Loaded fries should be so simple to do yet they couldn’t even get that to taste nice. The chef abd cleaners needs sacking. Don’t waste your money
Bad service/ training needed
I was in Boathouse in Surrey Guilferd mall. Today, Thursday March 20th at 12:22 pm. The one young woman that was working in the store at this time evidently had no interest in providing any sort of customer service. She was bordering on rude. I would not want her representing my business, and i think she should get some customer service training.
Order never received
Ordered UGG boots for my daughter for Christmas in early December (Dec. 5th). Never received the boots. After several calls/e-mails to Boathouse customer service, I realized they were never going to give me a reimbursement so I contacted my credit card, they credited my card, did an inquiry and I won the case. TERRIBLE customer service. If the items are not in stock, why still sell them and make people go through the hassle? Do not buy from Boathouse.
Ordered a couple items for Valentine’s…
Ordered a couple items for Valentine’s Day the weekend before. Paid for expedited shipping(2-3 days) so I would receive in time at $14.99. One item made it day 4. The second item they cancelled on Valentine’s Day. I have requested the additional shipping fee be returned as I did not get the service I paid for. Company does not respond to my emails at all! Poor customer service. I recommend to buy elsewhere.
Still waiting for my return credit nearly a month later
Do not order online unless you are sure you won't need to return. I ordered my daughter a Christmas present, unfortunately I needed to return it.
I printed the free return label which was really easy to do. I packaged it up and sent it Dec 26 th. In my tracking information it shows that they received and signed the returned items on January 6. I have yet to see the credit on my cc, it is now January 25. I sent an email to the contact email listed on the website but haven't received a reply. If this is the kind of customer service they give I will no longer support them. Poor customer service.

Ordered twice on special deals only to later find out their staff can not keep accurate inventory count and were out of stock. Never offered to get the next size up which was in stock both times, nor offered to transfer the credit amount to another item in stock. Automatically credited the purchase amount back which at this point I have not received. After a negative response I was offered free shipping only within 30 days window. Ordering is a Crap Shoot and is not guaranteed or reliable. Plus the sizing on my previous orders I think were produced wrong and not the correct actual size. L is a medium. As example. At this point over promised and under delivered. Once I can see but twice is a reflection of poor customer service and system failures. Just another mediocre company trying to be something they are not. Low value high maintenance . Your Time spent supporting their business by spending your hard earned money in the end may cost more than any actual savings.

I have been waiting 6 weeks for an order that I placed online. They customer service is horrible! I have sent 4 emails and they opened a complaint ticket and closed it the next day without resolving the issue. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM BOATHOUSE! You will never see your purchase!
Garbage customer service …
Garbage customer service and nobody will answer multiple emails! Ordered a winter jacket on Dec 27. The jacket was never packaged and a label was never created. UPS was able to answer my questions quite quickly, and explained that there was no package for them to pick up, not even an empty labelled bag. Boathouse continues to respond to my emails with “it’s easy to track your order” responses and refuses to take accountability or even just admit the jacket was never packaged. The ONE time I was able to speak to a human I was told the jacket was delayed due to the strike. When I mentioned there was no label and I received no email saying it had been shipped the rep backtracked but refused to admit the jacket was never sent. I cannot describe my level of frustration and have never had to try and deal with a company like this.
I just want my money back!
Ordered December 1st. Called twice - was assured package was shipped. Emailed too many times to count as this point. Wasn’t able to give tracking numbers as they shipped with Canpar. Camper says they do issue tracking numbers. Clearly order was never shipped. Filed a claim with PayPal for a refund. Boathouse came back with a fake tracking number - I am still in the dispute process and will continue to exhaust all Ave yes until I have my money back. I encourage everyone else to start filing claims with their PayPal or credit card company. Enough is enough. Unbelievably bad customer service and policies. Don’t shop here ever.
Same bad experience with delayed orders & no customer service
I'm having the same experience as everyone else. I ordered something over 3 weeks ago and it's been stuck in the "we made a label but otherwise we have no goddamn clue where your stuff is or when/if It will ever ship". The person I spoke to this week certainly didn't mention that there was a ton of other people that are in the same situation and there's been no communication to customers about it. This happened last year and I don't know why I didn't learn my lesson, but my son wanted two things that weren't available in any of our local stores. I asked if I could just cancel the order but apparently that's not possible. I'm going to put in a claim with my credit card company to get my money back.

I agree with others poor reviews. I’ve shopped this store in person and it’s been fine, but this Christmas I was careful with my online orders ensuring the only ones I would shop at had their shipping figured out due to the Canada Post strike, Boathouse offered guaranteed by Christmas if ordered by a certain date, I placed my order on December 6th, and it’s been stuck in label created for weeks and weeks now. My daughters Christmas presents are in this order and it’s well past Christmas now. Why guaranteed anything if you can’t actually follow through? Won’t be a returning customer, not even in person.
Unacceptable Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and service from Boathouse. After returning an item, I’ve made multiple attempts to contact their customer service regarding a refund, but I’ve received no responses. Emails to their provided address are undeliverable, and messages sent through their website and social media have gone unanswered.
This level of unresponsiveness is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company. I expected better service and will not be shopping here again. I would not recommend this retailer to anyone.
