Order was placed on April 8 2026. Received confirmation email next day then nothing! After 8 days I called their 1-800 number to ask what was the holdup. Nice soft spoken lady confirmed the shoes were in stock and that they were waiting for the company to produce the shipping label!? Still waiting. If no progress will try to cancel and get a refund. Will update this post if anything new (good or bad) happens.

I placed an online order and realized after reading reviews that I needed to size up. I sent an email to Quarks the same day requesting a size up. A customer service rep responded within a day advising that the size had been switched out as requested. The order was processed and delivered within 3 days. It was a good experience, no complaints here. I'm very happy with my purchase.

They do not answer their email or phone. They sent me two slightly different shoes and I have to pay return shipping through their return portal, despite what their website says about return shipping costs. I won’t buy from them again.

Great Price on item, fast shipping. Ordered Dec 28 and had my item by Jan 9, despite the Boxing week craziness and New Year holiday. Excellent online retail experience. My only minor issue would be a heads-up to the retailer: My shoe box WAS damaged in shipping, and if i had to return the item, this would have cost me 20% restocking fee. Thankfully, a non-issue.

Great first experience
Ordered a pair of boots I had been eyeing on other sites waiting for the price to come down. Not only did Quarks have the best price (even with shipping fees) but they also had 3 other pairs of shoes at such great prices I ordered them too! All came well wrapped in plastic ( no weather getting in! Almost didn’t get the shoes out lol). Just ordered another pair and got them today!
Anywho, had a great experience, fast shipping, Canadian company, great prices and packaged very well. No issues so can’t speak to their customer service. Very happy!

If you know the brand you’re buying, order from here. If you don’t, go try on a pair somewhere. In one brand, I had to size up. so happy to found this site of a huge selection too.
Quark should get google reviews. These other sites are hard to find and post and therefore skew the results.

Sept 2025- Very Happy With My Experience
Sept 2025- I ordered a pair of sandals at 11pm my time zone. The next day the shipping label was created. My ordered arrived within the time frame promised, at the earliest of the estimated date range.
The box included a nice letter from Quarks thanking me for my order.
This item was something I already owned, loved and lost and could not replace in my own province. I was so happy to find it at Quarks and very happy with the speedy delivery.

Nothing For Sale Here!
This is a shoe store that does not care about customer service. They will not answer the phone send emails and when they do their online staff are rude incomptent and apathetic. Every time you make an order in about a day you will receive an email stating "sorry no stock" that size. Especially if there is a sale. It is very almost fraudulent to lead customers on by taking clients orders comfirming these orders without having the stock and waiting two days to send an email stating there are no boots shoes in that size. This store also continually sends out wrong orders and double orders that are different.When I phoned and actually talked to someone it was a nightmare. First person was very young and had no clue what I was asking about. Second person a woman was so rude and a bully. I quoted two different orders which she could see her screen and just would not help, She had sent out a duplicate pair of boots with two different order numbers. Charged also for them and refused refund. Screaming at customers just does not work in her position. This intimidating behavior is extremely rude. I am told she is related to owner. She has been there for years and yes she is the most difficult person. No other shoe store works with customers in such a manner. Having no stock for orders comfirmed is actually again fraudulent. This is just an ongoing set of problems in this store that are condoned. In this day and age it is not Forgivable. Customers need to feel appreciated and valued. But in this store they are as above treated with such indifference. There are many better stores out there. These other stores the ones I deal with Now are appalled at this behavior and are so professional. Something this store needs to change from management to online(the worst) right down to clerks. Save your money as in this store that is all they care about. Money they keep if there is a problem. Beter more competent stores out there who actually care about customer service.

I made my order and within a few days my shoes were in my hands. They took the time to write me a thank you note.
Untrustworthy
1. They're not truthful about having the stock on hand to fill your order.
2. Ships out half of the order with NO mention of the outstanding items.
3. When you question them on it they barely acknowledge that they haven't sent you everything that you have PAID FOR!
4. They then claim that the balance will be shipped out the same day. This was LIES.
They printed a shipping label but nothing else has happened in the past week.
5. I won't be doing further business with them. I guess I'll have to get in touch with the CC company to see if I can get back the money for the outstanding balance.
6. Save yourself some grief and shop elsewhere.
Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware - don't believe what they tell you verbally about their return/exchange policy - read it carefully on the receipt before leaving the store! I bought a pair of Birkenstocks, which I had never purchased before, on June 21, 2024 from Quarks Shoes in Lawson Heights Mall in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. My daughter has worn Birkenstocks for years and loves them, so I decided to try them. I was unsure about purchasing them because they did not feel very comfortable in the store. I was assured that they would feel uncomfortable at first, but that they just needed to mold to my feet and they would feel more comfortable. I was told by two separate sales people to wear them around the house for a few days, and if they weren't more comfortable after that, I could return them as long as it was within 15 days. I wore them, in the house only, for a few hours over 3 days (about 4 hours total) but they only became more uncomfortable. I tried to return them 11 days after purchasing them. I don't live in Saskatoon so I don't go there often, and actually made a special trip there just to return them within the 15 day window. They refused to accept the return because they had been worn. My fault for not reading the receipt saying they must be unworn, but shame on them for verbally lying about the return policy.

Scam
I see shoes in stock, so I order them, then i get email days later of cancellation, but they have all my credit card info now. I believe this is a scam.
This has happened 4 times now, and now one of the credit cards I used was frozen, as someone was trying to use it.

Their inventory doesn't match shoes available at time of online purchase. I am still waiting for refund of bought shoes that were available, but the order was cancelled two days later because they said they were no longer in stock.
It takes them two days to confirm inventory, and perhaps i won't get my money back.

Purchased two pairs of shoes on Dec 27th. Called on January 9th as their SHOP app indicated one pair had been delivered (it wasn't). Called the customer service number to find out that one pair of shoes had been cancelled and the other pair had YET to be shipped. Now the waiting game to see if I get my money back on my credit card. Last Quarks purchase for me.

Bought a item on their website on boxing day sales. It was a great deal. On January 4 I received a email saying it was out of stock.
I went to the trouble of making an account on their website and asking a friend for his credit card information as I dont have one. I physicaly gave my friend the money.
Now not only do I not have the item, but I missed out on all the boxing day sales where I would have brought it elsewhere. I am going to have to ask my friend to check his credit card statement and return me the money.
Please learn to keep your inventory up to date quarksshoes, your mistake affect your customers.

So I bought a pair of boots there. They made me order un UK size. They get here and are the wrong size. Not because I ordered the wrong size, their actual website was wrong. Size 9 us women is 7 uk. Not 6. Thanks alot. I'll just tie my money up now and go through a bunch to send these back. Ill also search for different ones. I called and she asked what i wanted to do and completely missed the point of the call. I'm trying to understand what just happened, I don't want anything.
