Bought a bike for my granddaughter in France. After a fall the brake lever snapped. Sadly the customer service and parts available are so very poor. I emailed back in September and explained asking for a spare as was travelling over in November. Despite constantly chasing and being told they would be in soon the have never arrived. Last I was told they would be in late Jan or Feb….. again I had to chase and just got not in but buy one elsewhere!! Market themselves as family business caring about customers….not in my opinion.

Customer service is responsive, and it does look nice, but that’s where the positives end. The product is heavy, poorly made, and full of cheap components. After a few months, the rear brake broke, the front basket snapped under very little weight, and the bell is too stiff for a 3-year-old. For the price, a six-month warranty is far too short. You’d be better off with a cheaper alternative that will last longer and save you money.

Hello! My niece is SO SO SO HAPPY with her new bicycle! It’s her first one so it had to be super special and believe me it exceeded any expectations! It’s a lovely cherry color bike, perfect for the pop of color and cheer up the UK cloudy skies. Also, to spot her faster with a bright yet very stylish and elegant red shade. It arrived incredibly fast. We all are excited looking at my niece having a great time with it. We got it for her 3 years old celebration 🎉

Received the bike, delivery was fine. Assembly was a little tricky as the instruction images were in somewhat blurry black and white, but I managed it. I left it in the garage until it was my daughter’s birthday a couple of weeks later, but by then the rear tyre had deflated - turns out the valve was faulty. I sent the company a video and have yet to hear from them! I’d say they have poor customer service but it’s actually zero as I’ve yet to hear from anyone.

Absolutely disgraceful. You sent a bike that arrived damaged - scratched frame and buckled wheels. This was meant to be a Christmas present for my son. It is now FEBRUARY.
You've refused a refund, sent replacement wheels that don't even fit, and left me with a bike that is completely unusable. This isn't a
"delay" or a "small issue" - it's a total failure from start to finish.
I'm now £200 out of pocket, with no bike, months wasted, and a child who has been massively let down. The level of incompetence and customer service on display here is honestly shocking.
Own your mistake and fix it. Until then, this is a perfect example of why people should avoid this company.

Got my little girl a bike for Xmas. The stand is far too long and doesn’t work and both tyres cannot keep pressure. Emailed customer service with no response and tried to call 5 times with no answer. Wouldn’t recommend.

I bought a Bobbin bike twenty years ago which was excellent. When it came to replace it, I bought a Bobbin again. My experience this time has been terrible-and dangerous. I paid to have it professionally assembled and then checked. It rode fine for a week then the stem came out unexpectedly while turning a corner. A few weeks later a pedal fell off going up a hill. Then the kick stand literally snapped off. Yesterday the handlebars slipped. I’ve taken each of these problems up with Bobbin and the shop that assembled it. The shop insists they did their job properly (and since they have serviced the family’s bikes with no other problems for 10 years I’ve no reason to doubt them). They say the parts are poorly constructed, which I believe. Bobbin insist the many problems I’ve had are not due to manufacturing faults and don’t want to know about it. I won’t buy another Bobbin bike again. Very disappointed.

I was honestly so excited to buy my little girl her first Bobbin bike. To me this is a premium brand and as such you’d expect premium quality and premium service. Well unfortunately that absolutely wasn’t our experience at all.
We purchased the 12” Gingersnap and after my husband spending an hour building it (using an online tutorial for a different bike because the ones provided were useless), we realised the handle bars were badly marked and the frame had a chip out of it. He contacted Bobbin bikes and the options given were a small discount to keep the bike (£20, but we could buy a marked second hand one for less than that), dismantle and they replace it or dismantle and they’d offer a refund. Now this may seem fine, but given the inconvenience we are pretty miffed as we have two young children so our time is extremely precious. Spending time building a bike to then have to dismantle it and box it back up is therefore pretty frustrating. We have requested a refund and purchased a different brand instead so fingers crossed for a better experience with that. But it’s fair to say we would not risk purchasing a Bobbin bike again now.
