Customer support or AI response?

Clearly people working at customer support should put some more effort into proper response. They don’t seem to know the products they are selling, the answers are short and lame, you need to follow up with question as they are not proactive with assisting at all.
I asked about whisk for my milk frother (I provided the model number)… the answer was: „ Dear customer, could you be more specific about the spare part you need please?”
It feels like I’m talking to AI, not a human.
Eventually I found out via exchange of email (back and forward) that whisk will be available again in Europe in two weeks! lol. And yes, I can order it from them! (Exchange of emails again).
I just checked, 3 weeks passed, no whisk for the model I asked for.
Well….
I expected better from this company. This experience will affect my future choices for sure. Don’t want to deal with them anymore.

I ordered a new filter for a French…

I ordered a new filter for a French Press and it was unclear what the proper part was. I chose what I thought was the correct part. Turns out it was not. I contacted customer service and asked for a return and exchange for the correct part. I was advised that I had to return the one I had pay for shipping and a restocking fee. If was to do that it would be a loss as I also paid the inbound shipping fee. I was able to find the right part on Amazon. No hassle

Totally useless customer support

Totally useless customer support, no repair service for failed burr coffee grinder product and no spare parts sold .
I even emailed the CEO jorgen bodum, he wasn’t in the least bit interested and very incoherent.
Truly responsible environmentally aware brand!

I emailed him this:

Thanks Jorgen, for the swift response.
You are correct I am connected to your support team and I asked if it was possible to have the unit repaired, or buy a replacement motor. Unfortunately zero interest from your support, which irritates me.

The response I received was no, no repair and no spare parts.!
I did actually order a new unit from you as well so I showed some loyalty!

In this age of climate change, we should not have to just dispose of all these materials if they fail? Where are your spare parts?

I would have thought Bodum would be interested in supporting customers keeping items running, but it doesn’t sound like you agree, which is a disappointment from such a great brand.

Hopefully that explains the thoughts of one of your customers. Hopefully the right to repair legislation will come soon.

Customer service non-existing

I ordered a coffee press on August 2, and it was all fine and dandy until DHL lost the package when in transit. That is understandable, it happens. But when calling DHL the instructed me to contact the supplier as they're the once who can order an investigation of lost packages. And thus it begins.

Bodum's, probably outsourced, customer service does not reply for weeks.
They don't give you any information.
It takes them 3 weeks to reply to an email.

It's now been almost two months. They kept the money. My coffee press is nowhere to be found. The "customer service" is not replying. I've given up hope.

Do not order from their webshop if you want a smooth experience. Warranty won't be a thing. Returns won't be a thing. Just go to a physical store if you want Bodum products.

Hi, 2 years and 1 month ago I purchased it in the Bodum shop in Nacka (closed since) and today it didnt start !
turned the speed selector and suddenly it started on 2.5 speed then it switched itself off after a little while......tried again to start it with the selector and nothing...
then again it started at higher speeds but didnt stay on....looks like the speed selector has problems. Have you heard this before ? Is there anyone in Stockholm who could have a look at it and if necessary repair it at moderate price?
