After my boiler broke down just days before Christmas, I'd been let down by multiple companies trying to find an engineer. Then I contacted BoilerHut and Paul got in touch with me on Christmas eve to discuss the problem, walk me through my options and get an engineer booked in as quickly as possible. Paul had excellent customer service, was really clear about the process and gave a really reasonable quote (particularly given the surcharges being shared by other companies during the festive season!). Paul even contacted me on boxing day to assure me that an engineer would be with me on our confirmed date and gave me a one hour window for when they'd arrive. The engineer himself was brilliant, quick and explained how everything worked. After the work was complete the BoilerHut team got in touch to check I was happy with everything which was lovely. There was a misunderstanding with the costs and everything was resolved instantly. I can't recommend BoilerHut enough and would like to thank Paul in particular for his stellar customer service!

Delighted with our new Grant oil boiler supplied and fitted by Boiler Hut. Ordered and installed at our home in Cornwall within six days to ensure we had heat and hot water for Christmas.
We were nervous buying via the internet but the help advice and service we got from Paul and his team was definitely five star. Communication and customer service to date has been excellent.

Everything was sorted over the phone and Whatsapp prior to the arrival of the engineer. Very simple to sort out and the engineer arrived promptly on the day of the fitting. Completed the work to a great standard and left the property clean and tidy.

I can 100% recommend Boilerhut, Paul and the team very experienced and knowledgeable . I felt supported and had confidence and trust in the this company . The engineer , mark was excellent and worked from the moment he got to my home, and although late finish he still took the time to ensure I understood the controls etc nothing was too much trouble. Paul was was very proud of the company and gave me honest and balanced advice about my boiler needs I didn’t feel at any time I was being ripped off! In comparison to other companies I got a great price for the boiler my house needed. Don’t be put off that Boilerhut is based in Cardiff , I live in Hertfordshire (east of England) I had contact with the company and the day of the installation was no different to dealing with a local company. Thank you Paul and team I’m very happy with my boiler Paula 😜

Our oil boiler of approximately 20 years was on it's last legs, leaking randomly, and despite Certas's repair estimate never appearing, we gave up and looked for a replacement boiler.
Certas quoted us Just under £8000 for a new Grant Vortex, which would be the same make and hopefully upgraded model.
We gulped at such a horrifying price and looked to compare.
One of the top Trustpilot results was Boilerhut.
I did some more research and think I filled in the online form.
Paul gave me a call and so our journey started.
He is very upfront and appears very honest from my huge number of questions.
There was no pushiness or urgency to SELL SELL SELL.
He listened to me and advised coherently. What was also fantastic was the communication. I sent him a whatsapp message around 8pm and, not expecting an answer until the following day, I received a reply almost instantly. When I mentioned I hadn't expected a reply, he told me he worked until around 9PM!! After a number of further questions, we looked at the quotes provided and rather than go down the Grant Vortex route, we opted for the Navien.
I was a little sceptical reading reviews of them and although many were positive, there were some not happy with Naviens customer service.
Just thinking about this reminded me that we had an issue OUR side with our credit card and it's FRAUD protection. As we wanted protection IF Boilerhut went under etc, we wanted to pay at least £100 on credit card. Paul understood why and it wasn't a problem to do multiple payments. All paid, Paul had already started organising the installation with the photos we had sent him via whatsapp. Around a week later the boiler arrived around 30 minutes before the installers turned up. The installers were great and I was interested to hear what they thought of the Navien compared to the grant vortex. They smiled and said that the tech in the Navien was very advanced allowing for Bio Fuels and much more efficient. When I asked about reliability they said that they installed many of the Naviens with almost no issues. They also mentioned that they hadn't had any issues with the Navien customer service, which was reassuring.
They cracked on with the job, with cups of tea, and sorted everything as well as dustpan and brush at the end.
The new thermostat is remote and works well and so much better than the original turning wheel.
You can select temperatures for water from the boiler for heat and hot water taps, so it appears much more advanced than the grant vortex.
This review as others will remain open for future adjustment, if need be, but at present from sales to install it's been amazing and a LOT less than 8K!

Had problem with pressure drop on Navien boiler leaving us with no heating and hot water.
Was talked through the process by phone and within minutes pressure drop corrected.
