DON'T BUY! From my own experience and others before, it seems clear that if you order a hardback book as advertised from Bokon, after payment you may only be sent a download link for an ebook, itself unreliable, and no refund. If a victim of such apparent fraud, it seems worth reporting and seeking redress from your bank.

During the purchase process I chose hardcover. I received a download link. When I enquired, Bokon told me I’d purchased an ebook. At no point during the buying process did it say I was purchasing an ebook. As I only have a phone the text is too small and the book is no use to me. Bokon doesn’t offer refunds on ebooks so I’ve wasted my money.

Ordered what was advertised as a hardback book only to find out it was a digital download, although I don't even know if I received that tbh ,a lot of people fell for this scam apparently , tried to email them and email address given doesn't exist ,have had to cut my losses but I'm angry , AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE IS MY ADVICE .

I ordered a book costing £8 and I was sent an eBook!
Got straight onto them explaining nowhere was ebook mentioned and it clearly said hardback. Fortunately I took a photo of my order which shows this.
They are saying they can’t refund which is ridiculous as no way did I think I was ordering anything other than a hardback book.
This must be a total scam and no one should use them.
I shall continue to look for a refund and if no luck contact my credit card company 😡

Absolute charlatans! Just like everyone else, instead of the paperback I was expecting, I received a pdf ebook. I could have got the proper version from Amazon Kindle for £1 more. It pays to do a bit of research first. If the paperback arrives, I'll 5* this review.

If a zero star rating was available it would be rated this. The website is incredibly misleading. It looks as though you are buying a physical book , however after purchasing they email a link to download the book. At no point does it make it clear that you are buying an ebook. Avoid at all costs

As everyone else says, you think you're ordering a hardback book as that is what you've selected, but they send you a digital copy. When you write to complain, they send you a generic email to say congratulations on receiving your ebook. Never use them

I ordered a hard back book from this website and received a digital download only. Once they’ve got your money they’re not interested in engaging with you again.
The drop down menu offered hard back or digital- there’s no mention that they don’t provide physical books.
A real disappointment as the book, I thought I’d ordered, was a gift.

Ordered hard back book got a general m email confirming order plus including an electronic copy

Chased when not received told electronic copy was it
As book was a gift bought alternative

Be very careful when purchasing from this site. Products are presented in a way that can make it seem like you’re buying a physical item (as advertised) but you may actually receive a digital download instead.

When this was raised with customer service, the response was simply that digital products are non-refundable, with no effort made to resolve the confusion.

Overall, the experience felt misleading and unhelpful. I would strongly recommend double-checking exactly what you’re buying before making a purchase.

Like many other people reviewing this company , I ordered hardback copy. Apparently sent an ebook which I had not ordered. And which is not accessible
anyway.

Zero refund policy. Zero customer care. Zero all round.

Many polite e mails from me later , still repetitive responses. No phone contact. There are 2 choices then the lines go dead.

The address provided online is “London”. Check your credit card statement and you will find it is not.

Do not engage with this company. You will waste time, energy and money.

My credit card company examined my case and have refunded the amount I paid to these untruthful scammers. Pass this on and put them out of business.

I ordered a hard copy book and received an ebook. Customer services would not provide a refund and said they don't have hard copies of the book!

I have no idea about the book as I didn’t receive it. I ordered a paperback version but was sent a digital version of the incorrect book. Support seem unwilling to rectify. Proceed at your peril.

I didn't receive the the hard back book I ordered so I contacted them. Received an email to say I had ordered an e. Book! I didn't order this! Asked for hardback book or my money back, they refused. I didn't receive my order!! Definitely won't recommend this company!

I ordered a hardback book and received an email with a link to an ebook. Not sold as advertised. Emailed customer services but got single unhelpful reply and no option of a refund.

Ordered a book at a great price, had the option of Hardback or Digital. Yours for Hardback as per screenshot, after a few days no delivery or tracking. Queried it and got a response saying I’d ordered an ebook, I showed them the screen print, was promised a refund in 24 hours, still waiting and when you retire it, you get an auto repeatable message. STAY CLEAR

Like others, I ordered a hard back book and all I got was an ebook.
Very misleading.
I tried contacting customer support via email and telephone - got an automated reply from both.

I won't be using this company again.

Not the first to experience this by the look of reviews. Bought a hardcover, received a very expensive ebook. Customer service contact was appalling and no attempt to resolve.
