Terrible earplugs - avoid
Some of the worst designed earplugs I have ever tried. This is coming from someone who has tried many off-the-shelf ear plug brands and these are easily one of the worst I have come across. Difficult to get in your ear, poor isolation, poor manufacturing quality. Looks like they were moulded and made in a cheap factory in China, don't waste your money on these.

Would recommend
I use these to cover noise as I live on a boat, so it drowns out annoying noise but I can still hear if any alarms go off. I lost one on holiday and the team at Bollsen were very helpful and supportive, very quick and friendly communication. I definitely sleep better with the earbuds and find the company very responsive.

I bought Bollsen swimming ear plugs leading to a triathlon, which felt great but lost one whilst taking them out after the swim,
I emailed to see if they could just send one bud out to me ( offered to pay for it as not there fault).
They replied straight away and sending a full replacement free.

Fab earplugs and great customer service - almost perfect
This is the second time I purchased from Bollsen, Their music pro earplugs are amazing. As my ears are quite small, I needed to use their AR KI TECH which is really, really good.
This company is so close to being perfect - if only they could organise their website a bit better so that I didn't order the wrong thing. However, their customer service is brilliant and I cannot fault them at all. They sorted out my problem quickly.
I will be back (when this new round of purchase runs out).

Initially dubious, ultimately impressed
I have been looking for re-usable, washable and comfortable ear plugs for sleeping (on my side) and scouring the internet. A lot of company’s claim to have achieved this but many reviews suggest they sell on junk that you can get for £2 elsewhere. So I was nervous this would be the case. The ear plugs are very thin so give the impression they won’t be able to block out much at all. In the first few days I found them very uncomfortable but the staff requested I persevere for 3 days to get them to fit to my ear canals. Again I was very skeptical but I did and then they worked better than my existing ones (and are reusable). Also, of note I found it difficult to put them in so they didn’t hurt, there is a technique to it and when you get them in correctly they are comfortable all night, if I get it wrong I can have a sore ear for a couple of days! I have had to sleep on my back for the last little while and this has actually not worked as well, I think sleeping on your back means they are more inclined not to have such a snug fit and then you can hear everything. Overall I have been impressed.

This product works! Also, I had the best customer service experience from Bollsen. My earplugs initially did not fit well. When I reached out, Tom helped me by explaining the process and how they could resolve the problem immediately with the custom earplug service. The process was clear and easy. Within a week, I got new custom earplugs, including additional custom earplugs to replace what I ordered. The earplugs fit my ears perfectly now. I wake up easily from noise. Now, I can sleep through the night without waking up. This is a great company that cares about its customers.

High time I wrote in to review these amazing ear plugs. I’m two years into a wonderful relationship that simply wouldn’t have happened without these ear plugs. Sounds strange I admit, but when I first met my new partner, everything about him seemed wonderful…except for his snoring! I knew, after a couple of long, terrible, sleepless nights, that I wasn’t going to be able to handle this long term. Just no way!! I tried a few ear plugs from the shops, that didn’t work. Then I researched and found Bollsen! As soon as I put them in, he stopped snoring! ‘Thats slightly annoying’ I thought, and took them out. No, he hadn’t stopped snoring, it was the ear plugs! I couldn’t believe it! They worked so well it’s as if he’s breathing normally! Two years later we are blissfully happy, and I sleep through the night like a baby! I genuinely don’t believe I could get through a night without my Bollsen ear plugs, and one night when I forgot them, I was reminded in no uncertain terms just how awful life would be without them! I’ve since recommended them to other similarly suffering women, and it’s probably fair to say that these earplugs have saved many a relationship! Certainly mine! Thank you Bollsen!!

I am a return customer to Bollsen. I absolutely love my ear protection that I had previously purchased and wanted to buy another set. The first time I ordered I sent in pictures of my ears so they could send the correct size. I wanted to make sure I got the correct size so I emailed Bollsen. I dealt with Tom and every time I emailed him his response was almost immediate. He helped me order the correct ear protection and confirmed my order. Besides the greatest customer service in the world, the ear protection they sell is THE best. I use the ear protection regularly when I go to bed and they help me have a much better nights sleep.

Although the earplugs unfortunately didn't work for me to drown out my partner's snoring, likely because of my very small, narrow ear canals, the customer service team at BOLLSEN have been really fantastic in their handling of a refund which was processed promptly as per their money-back guarantee assurance advertised. Not only have they been incredibly responsive, friendly and very apologetic throughout the process, they first tried everything to help, such as custom-making me a second pair of earplugs for a small measuring fee. Though I'm disappointed that I still can't get a good night's sleep with my partner's snoring, I'm very impressed with BOLLSEN's brilliant customer service.

I ordered a set of ear plugs for sleeping, but discovered I don't get on with things in my ear at night and had a terrible sleep. I tried again, but nothing doing. I then contacted Bollsen asking about their refund policy and they immediately offered a refund with no hassle.
The customer service was exemplary - prompt, polite and no fuss - thanks Tom. Buy with the confidence that even though the product may not suit, the customer service is excellent.

The earplugs were not as good as described. They are a bit too wobbly and doesn't keep enough noice away. They came in a week after the purchase.

I give Bollsen five stars for customer service. I wasn't happy with the earplugs and continued to have the fitted earplugs by sending photos of ears. Still not entirely happy and Tom was on the case straight away. A full refund was given within the day.
