When my Wife passed away they sorted her and my car insurance with the minimum of fuss when I was at a very low time in my life. I have been with Bondlovis since they were at Ley street Ilford which is well over 50 years and am very satisfied with there service.

I’ve been going with Bond Lovis for about 15 years for my car, House & home contents insurances. The staff have always been very polite & helpful & always done their very best to get me the best quote possible especially with my car insurance where prices have increased considerably recently across the board. I have been very happy with their service over the years & would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have using this company for at least a decade to insure multiple properties, some freehold, some lease hold and some where I'm just a party on the side but I've recommended Bond Lovis to insure the entire block. Unlike many other companies I always deal with the same person, so it means i do not have to explain the situation every time I call. The fact that I'm dealing with a named individual who knows who I am ('Client' Support not 'Customer' Support) and not a call centre is the main reason for retaining this company.

Please be very careful about insuring over the phone. My property had a burst pipe and when I claimed, I found out that the broker had entered the insured amount as £101,101 which changed to £111,111 due to renewals over a 4 year period. I was accused of misrepresentation. Also watch the statement asking if the premises are built of stone, brick or concrete block. This is a yes or no tick box. The broker asked if the main building was stone and I replied yes. The other building had cedar cladding and a glazed gable so they said it was not insured. Again, I was accused of misrepresentation. The payout was £1400 out of a £8500 claim. Be very careful.

Boris Lond made a difficult week much easier. A property requiring freeholder buildings insurance suddenly became complicated to cover especially following a small flood in the summer. Numerous insurers turned me down, or did not get back to me after making empty promises. Amy at Bovis Lond apparently loves that sort of risk and was able to sort me out in 24 hours. Quite a relief as I have obligations under the terms of the lease for the upstairs owner and I am in the process of selling the flat.

Hard to deal with, expensive, Covids fault, staff working from home, and atrocious customer service. Moved to NFU Mutual and what a difference in every way! Stay away from Bondlovis!

Have been with Bond Lovis for over 5 years now and recently renewed my car insurance with them. Always someone helpful and friendly to talk to. Would highly recommend.
