got multiple garden projects this summer through book a builder lots of regular work now happy with results

Recently joined Book a Builder as a Tradesperson and following some complaints to the company they have finally contacted me.
A further review will appear maybe good maybe bad. Will depend on the outcome.

WARNING TO ANY TRADESMAN

DO NOT use book a builder for “work leads” once they take your money you will find it almost impossible to contact them they promised me my money back (£500) now I’m not happy with the service they will not accept my calls

The worst company I could ever say
Take money from traders promising the absolute world bearing in mind I have the calls all recorded offering everything great sales pitches. But also then try to take another 500 yearly payment when you try to cancel the so called rolling contract ten they say you need to give them 60 days notice never heard so much rubbish in my life all trader must avoid this site / company i have shared the promises they made across fb and instagram also and will continue regularly to make sure all traders stay well away from these people

They are completely scamming the British tradesmen, no leads no work, then they scam you for another year if you don't cancel within 60 days ... They put this deep in the small print, don't call or email to say it's coming to the 60 day mark. They only call for money on the day

The worst company I have ever used the rudest people ever to talk to the attitude is horrendous same for their customer service if you have any sense stay clear from this company
Absolute rip off

James turned up on time, he was very pleasant and started the work straight away, he did a great job and was finished in 4.5hrs.
Teresa and I are very pleased with the work and would not hesitate in recommending him in the future, I have already spoken to some of my neighbours who admired his work.

Left a negative review for Bromley Drainage Co LTD but it did not appear. I wanted to warn potential customers that Reece Martin is a con artist and ripped us off while trading under his former company HBDRAINAGE LTD (which he has phoenixed as Bromley Drainage Co LTD) leaving two unsettled CCJs. bookabuilderuk.com should protect their customers from rogue traders like Reece.

He was very helpful and hardworking. Made suggestions when I was unsure. He was available the next day and price reasonable. Painting could have been better but overall would recommend him.

My father signed up and was promised the earth by well rehearsed sales people.
What he received was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. Zero leads / Zero Customer Service.
Renewal is automatic with no warning or notice given and you have to give 60 days notice to terminate, according to their T&Cs when you sign up which is in their smallprint. They did not tell us this on the phone with their sales pitch!
We terminated well in advance after reading their T&Cs in full. Also, aked to erase all of my fathers information from their system completely at the same time as termination, under data protection law, they acknowledged to say it was done, however, received an email some months after asking for money on a renewal!!
They have been written to by the Information Commissioners Office following my submission to them about this outlining the regulation to them and I have proof of this. We are awaiting the business' response confirming that they have followed the correct procedure and erased all of the data when asked to do so.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided by book a builder. From the outset, their business practices have been deceptive and unprofessional. The company employs aggressive sales tactics, misrepresenting the scope and nature of their services. Once payment is secured, communication becomes virtually non-existent, with significant delays in response times or complete lack thereof. The terms and conditions of the service drastically change post-payment, leaving customers with unmet expectations and financial losses. I strongly advise against engaging with and recommend exploring alternative service providers who demonstrate integrity and transparency. This company's behaviour is nothing short of exploitative, and consumers should be wary of their deceptive practices. Even after several attempts to come to a resolution I am still being ignored, I can show proof, Book a builder will reply saying contact us to solve this but they do not do anything.

K4management responded very quickly to my request to lay flags and correct groundwork for my new shed to stand on.
They were prompt and hard working, got on with the job, neat and tidy work done. Very reasonably priced too. I would certainly recommend this company and use them again. Well done.

The gentleman who came to work on my boiler was very good.
He was punctual, polite and even left me a heater when he was unable to leave me with a working boiler (this was in winter, date submitted is an estimate as I can’t remember the date)
Couldn’t ask for a better service

They turned up on time and did the job efficiently and thoroughly and made sure the job was all done correctly before they went and they cleaned up after themeselves

Rich responded quickly arrived on time did an excellent job although he was clearly not feeling well still carried on with the job. Clean tidy reliable explained everything would definitely recommend and use again.

We used a company call River Point Services Ltd. Ash the owner of the company arrived with a small multi-skilled task force.
They fixed the fencing panels shed and painted the, they trimmed the shrubs in the front and back garden and the hedges.
They re-enforced the suspended display cabinet in the kitchen, painted the ceiling, walls and radiators.
The whole Team was professional, courteous, polite, extremely efficient, they made you feel like a valued customer and human being.
They were patient and kind to my 84 year old Mother, when she kept coming out to speak to them, she was delighted with all the work.
