STAY AWAY!!! Just as others have done, I choose one star only because one cannot give zero. The rest has been said> this site is apparently a fraud, intervening on Expedia bookings and then claiming full charges for any cancellation. I made a free cancellation booking and cancelled it within the deadline, only to have this rejected and a full charge made to my credit card. Several conversations with the hotel revealed real consternation on their side, because they, too, wanted to make no charge--but could not even succeed in contacting so-called "booked.net". Despite this fact, the latter wrote me emails claiming, in fact insisting, there was nothing they could do because the hotel insisted on the full charge. Lies and fraud. This is not a booking site, but a criminal impostor: STAY AWAY!

What suppliers? We have arrangements with various online travel agents and you are not one of them. They do not have the right to extend our arrangement to others. Your site is clearly trying to imitate Booking.com and is showing a really poor quality page for our business, plus there is no link to book so what is the point?
Why should I contact you to ask to be taken off? I did not ask to be put on! KINDLY REMOVE OUR B AND B FROM YOUR SITE.

I just made a reservation via Booked.net, and I carefully chose FREE CANCELLATION, which I was happy to pay extra for, but the reservation I received said NON-REFUNDABLE.
Booked.net rejected it, when I asked them correct their mistake, so my advice is to stay far away from this firm.

Watch out!!! This site is fake and crap. They are listing accommodations without ever contacting them.They pretend to work with hotels and steal photos and info from other websites, praying on the unaware traveler and of course your credit card. Don’t book anything through this crooked website!!!! Be warned!!!

I wish i had red this WARNING about BOOKED.NET before using them to book a room at the Novotel Southampton. I cancelled due to covid-19 with the Novotel Southampton direct. I them emailed booked.net to get a refund. I also tried to ring them and waited for 40 minutes with no reply. They don’t have a freephone number. Since then i have had a reply by email saying they are contacting their suppliers. This is the only response you will get from this company. Truth is that they don’t intend to refund any money at all. It is now 3 months since i cancelled. I will never use this company again. All these reviews say WARNING about Booked .net.... Best to go elsewhere and book with an honest company. I will now contact my credit card and reclaim the money through them. Looks like they are a Greek company.

Due to a state entry ban for tourists (Covid 19) to Switzerland, I contacted booked.net regarding my hotel booking for the beginning of June. Nobody reacted to my emails, Operator Jane simply hung up on the phone. The next time I called, I was asked for a confirmation from the hotel that they would refund the costs, which the Ibis Budget Basel City immediately confirmed. However, my room was booked at the hotel through Agoda.com, I never had any contact with this platform. I immediately forwarded the written confirmation from the Ibis Budget Basel City, which I had within 4 hours, to booked.net. Booked.net has not responded to this since then. Apparently tourists are being cheated out of their money in a big way!
I would like to give big thanks to Jane, she helped me get a full refund for my booking that was supposed to be unrefundable. My friends and I booked a trip to Malta, but we could not leave our country due to Covid 19 and we wrote to customer service and they responded very quickly. They were very helpful and provided professional service. I will definitely be using their services again. I was very satisfied with how they handled my situation despite the amount of requests they had in these tough times.

it is the worse support and customer service anyone can provide. I have been 3 hours on the phone waiting for customer service and no answer, this is the forth attempt.
Sofia was fantastic and very professional! With COVID-19 lockdown we were not able to travel to Italy and Sofia was able to work with the hotel to get a full refund. Process took some time to complete, but she was an excellent communicator and kept us updated of the progress. Would do business with Sofia and booked.net again!
Excellent response from Sofia. I had to cancel a booking because of Covid-19. Although it wasn't refundable, Vila Recife in Albufeira, gave me back a full refund. I’ll certainly book for next year there if I can reschedule my travel.
I was not able to travel away to PL due to the beginning of COVID 19, and they transferred back quite flexibly the amount non refundable from Tagus Royal Residence Lisbon Hotel. Thank you, I recommend them because of fairness and helpful attitude. The lady's name was Sofia, with whom I was keep in touch, was really kind and helpful.
Great service, I had to cancel a booking because of Covid-19 and they really help me because at firts it wasn't refundable but they talked with the hotel so we can get and finally we got back a full refund.
I was fully refunded for a non refundable booking due to the Hotel being closed owing to the current pandemic.

I had to cancel hotels due to the health emergency. Assistance was always present, quick, gave me clear and precise answers and within a month I got my refund from the structure.
I was able to receive a refund for a cancelled, non-refundable reservation, which I though was quite fair.

I would not recommend to book with that portal. It looks like it is a illegal business as they dont provide correct VAT invoices.
I have reported them to the german financial authorities.
I had a prepaid booking for a hotel in El Chalten, Argentina which I could not get to because of borders closing during the Covid 19 crisis. I contacted Booked.net and had prompt and effective response from Kate. She let me know that she would investigate and contacted the hotel immediately. In no time my money was refunded. I will definitely use both Booked.net and the hotel (Los Cerros Boutique Hotel by Don) when I am able to travel again.
Excellent customer service and speedy response to my enquiry. Amy was very competent and professional. Should give her a pay increase.
