Due to Corona I also had to cancel my booking.
Kate was very honest about the possibility of a refund and didn't promise anything at first. I prefer that kind of answers.
She then managed the refund of the entire bill.

We had booked a hotel in Athens for our Easter holiday and for celebrating a friend's birthday. Due to the Corona crisis and the subsequent lockdown as well as quarantine policies, we cancelled the booking with Booked.net. They reacted immediately after we got in contact with them and a few days later the refund was credited to our credit card. Great service :-) and we will book again as soon as the situation allows for it. Thank you very much, indeed. I can therefore definitely recommend Booked.net :-).

During the middle of march 2020 I was in Argentina on holiday and as we all the know the rules started to change quickly. As a result I needed to cancel my hotel in Ushuaia - I contacted the team at Booking.net who said they would investigate and let me know if I could get a refund - initially they came back a few days/week later and said the hotel would not refund the reservation. Today - 3 weeks later they have come back and informed me that they persevered and have obtained me a refund.
This was with no prompting from me, they did it independently and I was not even aware they were doing so. Its a great way to show committment to your customers in what is a difficult time for us all. Thanks so much for working on this, it is much appreciated!

We had to cancel our trip to Sicily due to a health problem in our family and, despite the difficulties to cancel our reservation, Amy did her best for us to get our money back.

I already sent you requests for my reservation to be cancelled. We booked our hotels last November 2019 before there was CoVid 19. I would have booked all our rooms with cancellation if all the rooms have that option. Unfortunately 2 out of our 3 rooms didn’t have that option. We cannot travel and we are asking for your consideration. I would have called you if you have a contact number here in our country but there isn’t. Please reply to my emails! I don’t know where to contact you.
