My recent book purchase was good value
My recent book purchase was good value, and I was pleasantly surprised with the speed of delivery - well within the expected time frame. Packaging was excellent, it probably could have been dropped from the top of a building without damage! (Not to say that you would want to put it to such a test.)

Range is more limited and ebooks are hopeless
They don't have the range that they used to and often things have to be ordered in so there quite a delay - if you factor this into your purchase plan you will be OK. My main issue is ebooks, I ordered a bird ID book for use in the field so thought an ebook would be easier to lug around. Alas you have to use the Kobo app and have to be online to use it (which defeats the purpose) - it is bad to navigate through and the way it has transcribed if you didn't know your birds you would be stuffed as the description is under the previous bird. Really really disappointed.

We would like to advise that all our books will show a shipping timeframe on our website. If a book is in stock in our Sydney Distribution Centre it will show, "In Stock and Aims to ship in 1-2 business days." If a book is not in stock, it would say, Aims to ship in 5-10 business days, 10-15 business days or 15-25 business days.
The ebooks on our website are all Kobo owned and therefore you can only access them on the Kobo app. If there is an issue with the ebook itself, you can contact Kobo and they can look into it or provide your order number and I can follow it up for you.

I accidentally ordered and paid for a book that we already have (I was ordering 2 books at the time). I quickly rang, I was able to speak to an operator very quickly, the lady was very helpful and organised for the order to be adjusted and refund processed, the remaining book was delivered very promptly.

Soooo Slow
Soooo Slow. Honestly, there must be faster ways of ordering books (I know there are). I thought I would try to support an Aussie business (vs Amazon etc), but it's really disappointing. If you are in a hurry for a book as a gift or for a project I would suggest trying a few alternative suppliers first.
