Awful online system
Awful online system. App doesn't work half the time, card doesn't sync and more often than not after the app crashes your shopping cart is gone. This isn't even the worst thing about Boots.
Every single (not an exaggeration) one of my online orders, of which there are in excess of 30, have had items cancelled from the order and refunded. My last order had 13 items ordered and 2 were sent out (the other 11 items were refunded).
If the stock is not available why advertise the items for sale online?
Now the icing in the cake. Boots has increased their minimum spend for free delivery (over €100) and if you have the cheek to want it delivered to your local store you now have to pay €2.50 if it's below €25.
Awful awful awful.
The only reason I will purchase from Boots is because my local store is decent and I have over €80 in points on my card.

We understand why this change is frustrating. New EU customs charges of €3 per item now apply to some low-value parcels entering Ireland from outside the EU. As the total cost can vary depending on the number of items ordered, Boots Ireland has changed its free home delivery threshold while continuing to absorb the majority of the additional costs.
To keep delivery charges clear and predictable, home delivery is free on boots.ie orders of €100 or more and €5 on orders below €100. Click & Collect remains free when you spend €25 or more.
