Never again!!!!

I'm still waiting for the delivery of the perfume, which was a Christmas present for my wife. The expected delivery date to the Bray branch was 23rd December, which was why I placed the order. How can you give a pre-Christmas date like this, encouraging people to place an order with your company when there clearly wasn't a hope in hell of meeting this date? It doesn't reflect well on Boots. EITHER REFUND MY MONEY IMMEDIATELY OR DELIVER THE PERFUME!
It's now 1st Jan-simply refund my money, and I'll purchase elsewhere!
It's now 3rd Jan- still no refund & no communication. some service!!

Success at last, finally it's arrived.

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the service. I ordered a Christmas gift on December 19th specifically because I was promised a delivery date of the 23rd. Not only did the parcel fail to arrive, but the "guaranteed" date turned out to be complete misinformation. To make matters worse, I have tried contacting customer service multiple times and have received absolutely no response. It’s now past the delivery date, I have no gift, and no idea where my package is. Avoid this company if you actually need your items on time.

Customer of decades will never shop here again

Just suffered the most appalling treatment at Boots St Stephens Green. I get Neurophen plus once or twice a year at this pharmacy for sporadic excruciating back pain from an old injury and it has never been an issue before. A pharmacy shop assistant with dyed yellow hair asked me to list every other OTC medication I'd ever used for it, which stunned me as it was ludicrous but I listed the standard painkillers, and he said "what else", because if I'd used them, I should be able to remember them all, with a disrespectful attitude and the insinuation being that I was lying. As if anyone in their fifties hasn't tried every OTC painkiller that has ever existed. So I asked to speak to the pharmacist who was within earshot. He kept repeating that it wasn't for recurrent use, despite my explaining repeatedly that it is and has always been for sporadic use and that I live abroad now so I could only ever buy it once or twice a year in any case. He just kept talking over me.

I am a middle-aged business owner and have never been refused service or treated with such hostility or suspicion in a pharmacy in my life.

I therefore had to leave still in pain and shocked at their attitude. Luckily I went to a decent pharmacy where I was immediately served with respect and manners and without any hostility or difficulty.

I had been a customer here since it opened years ago. Not only will I never return to this pharmacy, I will never return to this branch of Boots again. Absolutely disgraceful attitude and treatment.

How much more detail could you possibly need? You have the location, the date, a description of the assistant, the sole pharmacist. Your identical cut-and-paste response to every negative review can't undo your poor treatment of us as customers. Your abysmal score here is evidence of how clearly typical it is, and your essentially meaningless response is too little too late and an attempt at damage limitation. I can only hope people avoid your store and thereby the same treatment.

Gangsters Incorporated

An absolute abortion of a company with no concept of how to service customers. All I can say is buyer beware of these lying cheats.
I purchased a laser hair remover for my wife price 323€ online 21 told it would be ready for collection on 23rd arrived and whoppee no laser hair removal, then advised will definitely be in tomorrow arrived late that afternoon to ensure it would be in the store, whoa and behold not there. So that was a no show for the wife's Xmas present. Then the clown 🤡 serving suggested buying the same model for 80€ more. Apparently they couldn't sell that for the same price even though I had ordered online and what added insult to injury was they believed I would pay the extra.
Will never deal with such an abortion of a business that just treats its customers such contempt.

Boots Ireland Cancelled Christmas

Boots Ireland has cancelled my Christmas, I ordered online the entirety of my Christmas presents for family and friends, with a delivery date of December 23rd. Why the hell take Christmas orders if you can’t guarantee them for Christmas ?? I have tried emails phone calls and even store visits, but no reply from anyone, nor did anyone in store care. In the end the only people that could give me answers were a post, who confirmed the order as of today Christmas Eve, hasn’t even been posted by Boots. So you took my money for Christmas presents and literally couldn’t be bothered even to tell me, answer a phone call or reply to an email that they wouldn’t be here for Christmas. If I could give no stars for this I would. Absolutely devastated and let down. I’ll never use or recommend boots to anyone ever again.

Zero Stars never shop in boots

This star is only so I can write this minus star review . Christmas presents ordered on 13th December did not arrive and so left without gifts for my family offered no compensation absolutely dreadful never shop in Boots again. My local pharmacy helped immensely my advice is shop local #ballyboughalpharmacy

I’ve always had a good experience with Boots. I love their specials on Tuesday. I’ve never received an incorrect or damaged product, I’ve never had to contact customer care so I can’t review this side of boots. Date of experience may not be exact as I’ve several orders.

Went to the Carrickmines store this…

Went to the Carrickmines store this morning. I was ignored by the shop ‘assistant’ before I stopped the store manager to ask for assistance. He ‘helped’ for approximately 3 minutes before asking the assistant to take over as he needed to go to the office. She ‘helped’ for about 3 minutes before asking a man could she help him then continued to ignore me, again. I had to call her back again before I gave up. The store manager was on the floor, not his office. Worst shopping experience in a long time.

I should have read reviews before…

I should have read reviews before ordering complete shambles! First time never again they take your money online even though products are not available waited 3 weeks at the end to say to me they are not available no communication to say they are not available for 3 weeks! I would have ordered somewhere else if I knew they never going to be available but they take your money online! Asking in store useless they dont know about your order and dont want to know either just to get rid of you such awful experience from Boots shocking never again avoid avoid avoid! Boots look at Next and might learn something

What can I say about boots childers Rd…

What can I say about boots childers Rd limerick. Disgraceful. Rang in fot them to have my prescription ready yesterday morning was told it would be ready for me to collect today. Came after 4 to give them plenty of time waited 20 minutes in the queue to even ask for it then was told it wasn't ready to come back in a half hour came back 35 minutes later and still not ready standing outside waiting for it because I'm in so much pain.if I didn't need my medication if be gone and leave it there .over an hour already Disgraceful behaviour

Absolutely abysmal

Absolutely abysmal. I ordered a thermal hot brush for delivery on the 4th of December to have for the 12th. The expected delivery date was before or on the 11th and it did not arrive then. I contacted boots ireland multiple times, they all said the same generic thing, reading off a script with no understanding of the inconvenience. They said to wait another SEVEN days after this. Outrageous. They wouldn’t help me until the 7 days after expected delivery had passed even though I contacted A Post who said that the tracking number does not exist and they have no such package. I emailed asking for a new tracking number because this one is wrong, they didn’t care and just ignored what I said and said to wait 7 days. There was no acknowledgment that I knew from A Post that this package was missing since day dot. Even though they could see themselves when checking the tracking number that there was no information around it. Finally after the extra 7 days, it’s been over two weeks now and I wait 30 minutes to get through for them to say they can’t even give me a replacement because they’re out of stock and it would take a minimum of TWO WEEKS. Absolutely zero compensation for this huge inconvenience caused. It’s absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable especially with so many bad reviews. I will never be ordering from here again and I would suggest the same to anyone else . Extremely poor.

Ordered items online, no sign of it

I ordered items from Boots online totalling almost €190 with Christmas presents etc. on the 7th December. Was sent an email on the 8th saying they had been dispatched. Like many others here I was provided an An Post tracking number but An Post has apparently not received the order. My package was supposed to be delivered on the 12th and it’s currently the 17th with no delivery in sight. Contacted customer service email two days ago and have had radio silence. Absolutely disgraceful from a big company like Boots, not only will I never order online from them again but I’m going to actively avoid their stores too

Terrible experience

Ordered a couple of hundred worth of items from Boots. It was split into 2 packages, collected the first and received no notification on the second one. The boxes in the first package were damaged and were bought as gifts.
Went into the store inquiring about the second half of my order and I was given a number to phone. Gave them a call about my missing package and so the lady of the phone said she would resend. Then to be told they were out of stock. A week before Christmas and order gone in 3 weeks previous. I won't be ordering online from Boots again, the service is disgraceful.

Still waiting....

Update: my order arrived today (12th). The box was fairly battered so it seems to have had quite a journey. I’m glad it worked out in the end.

I am currently having a similar experience to previous customers. Today is December 11th '25 and I ordered some items online on 27th November '25 (2 weeks ago exactly). I received notification that my order was sent to An Post, along with a tracking number, on December 2nd, however there is nothing there: "We don't have information on your parcel yet". There is an expensive item among the necessities I ordered (a C'mas gift for my daughter) so I am obviously anxious about that and keen to track it down, or get a refund at least. Having contacted Boots twice and only received a bot-type response each time, I would really appreciate any advice as to what I can do next. I stupidly didn't read any TrustPilot reviews before ordering because I naively assumed that ordering from such a reputable company would be straight forward.

Boots no responding

Made an order 2 weeks ago today and on the 2/12/25 I received an email from Boots to say my order has left their building and with the carrier who is An Post, an An Post tracking number was provided and when I tried to track this with An Post on the 8/11/25 I was told no such order exists and to contact Boots, I tried to call Boots and was on hold for over a half hour so gave up as my lunch break in work was over, I then sent an email and as I got no response with 24 hours I sent another one yesterday and still today nothing, 2 weeks later and I haven’t a clue where my parcel is.

Don't order from boots online

Ordered from boots. Product arrived with clear signs of use. Rang customer service who made me return it back to the shop, which is not close to where I live. The costumer service person who was rang from the shop said I would get a replacement item asap. She thought I must have by accident sent out a returned item, she spoke like it was like this was not the first time this had happened. I waited a week after which I rang and emailed them. They answered they were still investigating and I had to wait. After 17 days they emailed the money would be refunded. Not what I had asked for, but the product was now out of stock. It would have been nice, had I known this before the black friday sales were over so I could have bought it elsewhere. Never ordering from boots online again. This was not the first time, as before they sent me out an item that was dirty and damaged, it looked like it had been stuck in a machine. I have been ordering from boots for year without issues. They must have some issues with warehouse staff. Customer service is extremely unhelpful, they can only copy paste a standard email.

I ordered the Boots Showstopper Box set…

I ordered the Boots Showstopper Box set and was sent a Soap and Glory boxset by mistake. Every communication with Boots has been ignored. I returned the Soap and Glory set a week ago and haven't heard anything yet.

They need to check who the hire in the warehouse. I'm hearing a lot of similar stories, about wrong (lower value) and empty boxes being sent and Boots not honoring returns.
