Boots have scammed me.
Order placed August 15th and should have been delivered on the 18th.
It’s still under pharmacist review for 1 of the 4 items orders.
Heads should roll. Absolutely shocking how slow they are. Customer service give empty replies and will not investigate.
I placed an order online nearly 3 weeks ago. However, the post office never received the package. I’ve tried contacting customer service multiple times but cannot get through to anyone—there is absolutely no support. I haven’t been able to get a refund
Buying online on the Boots website or app is always a problem; everything is very slow or sometimes the page doesn't even open. I made a purchase at Boots, as I always do online, and unfortunately, the address was incorrect for my old address. I entered the order online and there's no option to cancel it. I called Boots customer service, and they can't cancel it either. How is this possible? You make a purchase and can't cancel it. The Post Office has terrible customer service and couldn't help me either, and now my order is going to an address I no longer have access to.
I returned a product through their system online and back in June it was posted to the address provided, i have yet to be refunded, i got in contact and keep getting your issue will be dealt with within 14 days to-date i am still awaiting my refund, an absolute disgrace.
If I could give less then zero stars to boot I would, they have the worst costumer service ever, basically I placed an order and pay with Apple Pay witch selected the wrong address, on the app or website there is no option to cancel the order or even change the address, I went to boots on the same minute to speak the a costumer service, they don’t have one I had to keep asking people until I find one that was useless gave me a phone number that doesn’t even work, search on chat gpt for right number finally got to boot but the woman’s told me that trey can’t change the address that I most go to an post to change it. An post can’t change the address, now I got a message that my package has arrived and sign by some one using my name, no one answered the door, called costumer service again all they say is we are sorry about that. I’m shocked of how companies like that are still operating, this is absolutely not acceptable, not having an away of changing the address or cancel the order right after purchase.
I really enjoyed my experience at the Clinique counter at Boots Half Moon Street, Cork. Edel looked after me very well & offered wonderful service and advice
I ordered Boots marine collagen capsules. When the order arrived I had been sent the collagen gummies by mistake. I contacted Boots online and was advised to bring them back to my local Boots store and they would exchange them for me. I went to Boots in Dundrum. I was looked after by the Assistant Manager Zel and she couldn’t have been more helpful. A replacement order arrived to my house address. Well done Boots for sorting out the mistake.
Very bad customer service, very bad online shoping. I ordered 10th of August 2 things. One was cough sirup. I am sick and tought it will be deliver quckly to my place. Yet is Friday 15th of August and still waiting. In app status order didn't change sience day when I placed the order. It's still PROCESSING. And this is not first order where I have problems with. That was last time I ever bought anything in Boots pharmacy
I have been waiting on an order for over a week, said if it's been a week they will send out a new one and now one is conveniently replying to me.. to have my new one sent out, now another weekend and who knows how long till I get it. It was expensive and things I needed too.
They’re not very helpful! All they do is ask you stupid numbers and take ages to resolve your query. I wanted them to update my points balance and they kept asking me stupid questions. Their customer service team are awful online. It’s such a shame because they’ve loads of nice goods. They really need to up their game and find a computer algorithm that will update everyone’s points automatically after they’ve shopped.
Baby milk order hasn’t been delivered for cows milk allergy child. I have rang Boots, and spoke to the most inconsiderate support staff ever. Has no idea what it is to be waiting on an essential item that I can’t buy locally. In fact, this issue has still to be resolved. The postal service have been contacted it and can’t find it. I haven’t been offered a new shipment or a refund as I need to wait basically 3 weeks since ordering. Some of my order (with one of 8 milks in in) did arrive in smashed boxes. So who knows if the remaining cartons will ever arrive. I am so disappointed in boots response to a missing essential item. I have no idea what I’m going to do when it runs out.
I’ve been a loyal Boots Ireland customer for years. I’ve even been told on two separate occasions, in two different stores, that I’m one of their best customers because I shop there often and spend a lot. That’s why my recent experience was so disappointing and, honestly, disrespectful.
I asked a staff member at Dundrum shopping centre for help finding a beard blade trimmer. She located the item, but instead of handing it to me so I could go to self-checkout or a main till like any other shopper, she took it herself and directed me to a separate till away from the rest of the store. There, I was asked to show ID, even though I am clearly over 18.
This was especially frustrating because I have purchased this exact item many times before, both at self-checkout and at regular tills where the employee scans it like for any other customer in the queue, and I have never once had an issue.
I was confused and embarrassed. I politely responded with, “I’ll take that as a compliment I guess,” but the whole interaction felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. What made it worse is that it didn’t even feel like this was truly about age, it felt more like I was being singled out because of my tanned skin and possibly my name. That possibility left me feeling targeted in a way no customer should ever experience.
I later emailed Boots Customer Care on 31st July to give a respectful feedback and explain how the situation was handled poorly. I never received a reply. Even after sending a follow-up email more than a week later, I’ve been ignored. For a company that claims to care about its customers, this kind of silence is unacceptable.
Disappointed in how this was handled, both in-store and afterward. Boots can and should do better.
I wish I had looked at this site before making an order. The items I attempted to purchase on 30 July 2025 included a anti-fungal treatment which, while freely available off the shelf, for some reason needed a sign-off from the pharmacist. In my experience with Boots UK, this takes a matter of minutes. After hearing nothing for a week (delivery was due on 2 Aug.), I tried to contact customer service, but there is only an online email form that doesn't allow you to report the exact problem. Why couldn't Boots.ie send off the items not requiring a sign-off (one of which is some bio-oil that I urgently need)? Why don't I have the option of telling them at this point not to bother with the item needing clearance? Above all, why don't they have a public telephone number or a chat?
I ordered on 28th July and my package was meant to be delivered last week on the 2nd August and it says it’s under review by pharmacist - it hasn’t even been dispatched! This is ridiculous.
No response from customer care either after I emailed them!
Shocking customer care. Wrong item came. Emailed customer care to see what my options were. They emailed me back twice to say I was not the person on the account… I was! Gave them all my details , details of the order etc, still another email saying they were unable to deal with my case as I was not the person named. Rang them.. gave the same details , they were able to discuss the matter,???? however extremely unhelpful customer care staff member called Sahil , who did not give me all my options as stated in their delivery policy.
The Boots Ireland website is a disaster and I haven't had a single order work out as expected this year. Specific examples of my experiences:
My last order spent FOUR DAYS under Pharmacist Review, and it only moved when I emailed them .
That order arrived 2 days late and was incomplete, missing one of the ordered items.
The previous order also spent FOUR DAYS under Pharmacist Review. When that was eventually released, the "Pharmacist" denied my order of shaving gel, SHAVING GEL !
The order before that - the box was half open.
And with an order earlier this year, I received a bottle of hair wax that had already been used by someone else, and a bottle of facewash that looked like it had been kicked around the warehouse.
Their best action would be to take the website down, until they learn how it should operate.
Rebecca in the Jervis store was very helpful and knowledgeable and guided me in relation to different products! She was very nice to deal with!
I had the wrong item delivered. I had paid for a 400ml product and received a 150ml product.
The reason I ordered was at this particular time I was unable to get to a store that stocked the cream.
I called and emailed straight away. I received an email 3 days later saying I had to print a form and fill it in and bring it to either a store or post office.
Absolutely crazy when they made the mistake in the first place. Really really poor customer service.
Dont give them money, see through lockers i heard from all staff and spot checks daily , warnings if own money in pocket, treat staff like dirt
Expensive also, 3 for 2 is a gimic
Support local
I love their app, selection of products, and deals.
But the postage can be SO slow.
Sometimes you might get your items within a few days, and sometimes it can be up to 10 days! Makes no sense and if very off-putting.
