Poor service for online order

I ordered two liz earle products to be delivered to a store near where I live, I was advised the items would be in for Monday 28th March and I would receive a text to let me know when the products were ready for collection.
By the 29th I had not received a text and used the virtual assistant and had to call the customer service number, I was advised the items had been split into two parcels and one of them had been lost so could I go to the allocated store to collect the item that had been delivered and let them know which one was missing.
Today I have driven to the store to collect the package which I don’t want on its own, In store I was told I couldn’t get a refund from the shop. I called customer service who said the other parcel isn’t lost, it is somewhere in the system and I have to wait until tomorrow (72 hours to elapse from when parcel should have arrived) to see what is happening. I will need to call again and wait to get through to someone.
I have asked as I will be working if I can have the missing item posted to me as I need it for Saturday evening (I work Thursday to Monday so cannot collect).
I was told no, I have to collect it or tomorrow pay for it to be delivered to me.
Really poor customer service,

Bad service on delivery of medicine…

Bad service on delivery of medicine which was needed by customer. Was informed that they were short staffed so prescription was not filled. Asked to come back in 30 mins to collect mother's meds and then informed chemist on lunch!!!. Prescription was sent from gp in 22nd march I went on 29th and was absolutely disgusted with attitude of staff. If a customer pays for delivery of vital medication it should be delt with promptly especially if the medication is for heart and cancer care

Boots kingswinford-beware the customer service.Easy

Boots kinggswinford. Whilst recentrying attemating to obtain urgently required prescribed medicine for my seriously iĺl wife two other customers were complaining about missing/incorrect items. An apology would have been appropriate but they were treated with disdain. The pharmacist refused to given to fill my order until I could provide the brand name despite me explaining the urgency of the situation. There then followed an altercation (yes I was angry at this obstructiveness). I was then verbally abused.
I provided the required details by phone only to be told to collect the following day. When I did I l opened the package immediately and guess what, items were missing. Told that they had no idea re. availability. Walked across the road to the excellent Village pharmacy and got the prescription filled immediately. Will not ever again touch Boots with a ten foot barge pole.

Customer service is non existent

I recently purchased an item of skin care . I then noticed that the item was very much out of use by date (3 months!)
I got in touch with a rather curt man at customer service who advised take it back and I’d get my money back I explained I would not be going shopping again for some time. He then told me to email customer service I’ve done this twice and not heard anything back
Very dissatisfied with the service from such a large company 🙁

What a useless online service

What a useless online service! The system declined to recognise my advantage card again and again. When I was checking out, the system also froze and I couldn’t complete my order. When I went back to try again, I had to start again. This time the product was not recognised and I had to start again. Unable to use my advantage card again, I phoned their service, but unless you’re giving the combination of options they choose, your query isn’t recognised. I tried their online chat, again the query wasn’t recognised. What a useless system! One number said there was a 40 minute wait, another just left me waiting. I’ll go elsewhere in future

Over the counter police.

Went into local Boots and asked for CoCodamol. it's been our family go to pain relief for those "It hurts but not enough to bother the GP with" like toothaches, headaches, muscle pain etc. Then came the interrogation. "Is it for you? Are you on any other medication? Fair enough questions. "What's it for? I don't want to tell the queue behind me thanks. When did you last buy them? Er, before Xmas I think or could be November. "You need to go to your GP if you need them once a month and get them on the NHS" WHAT? I never said we need them every month. We are all adults who know about addictions to alcohol, drugs, food etc and try not to put more strain on our NHS and GP's. It's an over the counter medication, not a controlled drug. Should a pub refuse to sell you a drink because you had some last week? Left the store without them and I didn't buy the £40.00's worth of No 7 I intended to buy.

Awful service

Awful service. I had an item delivered with the security tag still on and raised this with customer services via email on 5th Jan.
As of today (16 days later) all I have had is an automated reply stating they will be in touch. I guess the delay in getting back to me indicates that they are dealing with an exceptional number of disgruntled customers. I’ve tried to chase a reply via Twitter and that’s just as bad.

Outrageous treatment

Unfortunately, reading the awful reviews here I realise I am one of many being treated with utter insensivity and total lack of any customer care or service. I ordered their £120 worth of good for £35 mid November. Since that time I have spent a lot of time and money trying to get my refund as two orders were never delivered to store. I even went to Resolver but they just send a generic response. This absolutely not good enough. This week I have even resorted to sending a ‘signed for’ letter to the secretary and President of Boots. I would like to think I will get a response to this but I will not hold my breath.
This is outrageous behaviour from a company like Boots. They have had my money for nearly eight weeks. How is this legal?

Disgusting service

Disgusting service. I placed a large order before Christmas online. There was a bottle of perfume missing when the parcel arrived. I had an email asking if I wanted a refund or the item sent out. I asked for a refund as it wouldnt have reached me by Christmas, leaving me short of a gift for someone. I am still waiting for this to be actioned. So very disappointing and I wont use them again

Shocking service at Boots Kirkintilloch

Customer service in Kirkintilloch absolutely appalling. Waited to be served for over 10 mins and totally ignored while girl was on the till. I asked if she knew how long she would be as I had an appointment and the way she answered me was totally out of order . A polite I will still be 5 or 10 mins would have been acceptable. Needless to say I put goods back and will not return. Manners cost nothing and if you choose to work with the public you need to be respectful

poor customer service

if you returned an online purchase the minimum wait time is 14 days , if you pay by PAYPAL the wait time is 30 days . i find these wait times totally unacceptable and one of the worst of the large retailers , also contacting customer services the wait time is at least 45 minutes without any information where you are in the queue . this company has no concept of customer service and should be avoided.
i am still awaiting my refund ,i paid by credit card

Disturbing

Disturbing that Boots (Kingston Union Street Branch) a member of staff on the pharmacist counter was not wearing mask a and not behind a protective screen. Shows a total disregard, disrespect and ignorance of customer health. Appreciate that there may be medical grounds, but then they should not be dealing with the public.

Complete absence of system or controls on refund for online purchase

Bought a Dyson hairdryer online (£299.99) which was faulty. Returned it in store today and was given no receipt to confirm the return nor an email to confirm the refund. I raised a complaint with the store manager who tried to make enquiries with customer services. All in all I waited 30 minutes with nothing resolved. They have the hair dryer. I have their word that a refund will be processed. I doubt very much that this complies with the most basic consumer rights or trading practices.

I then wasted a further 10 minutes on the phone trying to sort it out. Sadly the same woeful experience. Shameful. Where is the refund I am entitled to?

WORST'GIFT' 2021 FROM BOOTS THE CHEMIST-

was a flatpack black box with Boots logo-that WAS the gift!!!! Nothing else!!!!

I had to spend £40 on Number 7 products to receive this 'gift'.

Naturally I thought there would be goodies to go in this box-I checked with customer service-no,that WAS the ''gift''-a flatpack box with logo.

I think that speaks volumes how Boots values their customers.

Toxins in supplements and vitamins.

Do people realise there's been a massive recall on supplements and vitamins due to high levels of toxicity.
Unable to get any help from my local store when I bought them from. Hours ringing customer services to get help can't even get a person to speak to, just poor quality music. Food standards Ireland UK are not linking up with food standards England UK Brought the supplements in England but they come from Ireland ! Websites have different information !
