Managed to track down some very rare plants to this nursery who quickly delivered specimens in excellent condition. Even got a freebie. Highly recommended, I’ve no idea what happened with the two-star reviewers, I’ve always had supreme service and, most importantly, access to some really difficult-to-find plants in great condition.

two plants in my consignments of alpines did not look viable. one eventually put on growth, but it was a tiny scrap the other plant turned out to be just a pot with some dead roots in it.
when i contacted them i was sent the weirdest reply, such as being concerned was bad for me. when i contacted them again about the empty pot - two emails - i received no response. sorry can't give precise date so picked a random one.

I ordered plants from Border Alpines last year and was very happy with what they sent us. I went back again this year to order more and my wife opened a dialogue with them to discuss a couple of 'problem' areas we were trying to get plants for. They were very helpful and, once again, we've been very happy with the plants they have sent us - all healthy and very well packaged.
