Horrible experience from Saks Fifth Avenue via Borderfree
I have placed an order from Saks Fifth Avenue to Germany via Borderfree. For some reason I was double charged by them, I have contacted both Saks and Borderfree multiple times, but have not been able to get a reply beyond the initial canned response. I have refused taking delivery but I am unable to get a RMA from Saks, Borderfree is telling me they are not responsible and the package is now stuck with DHL Express. I am going to contact Amex and try to get my money back that way.
Want to be cheated? Shop from them.
So, the site which connects to Borderfree had sale prices. Bought items based on sale prices. BUT Borderfree did not use them. So what should have been $250 NZD Plus shipping, etc. was changed by Borderfree to $760 NZD plus shipping, etc.
TOTAL RIP-OFF!
And to add salt to wounds ten days from placing order to it actually “shipping”. That is expedited shipping too.

Broken tracking and delayed delivery
Bought a dress through Nordstrom and shipped with borderfree. Nordstrom was great, but borderfree? It said to take 4-9 days until arrival, but after 10 days I still hadn't even received a shipping confirmation. I got an order confirmation with a tracking link, but the tracking link never updated.
Nordstrom thought the delivery was lost in transit, but only a few days after that statement I receive a message from my local courier that the package is ready to pick up. At that point the tracking info still hadn't updated. The day after I pick it up, the tracking link finally updates with "out for delivery"... Thanks. So for crappy tracking and delayed delivery I rate it low, but I give it a star for at least delivering my dress in the end.

I was shopping on gilt and now macy. They both worked with borderfree. I place 6 order and all were oops something is wrong. I go somewhere else using the same paypal,credit and it was fine. Most upset thing is you email them and they emailed back but didn't tell you what was the issue.

If you order from a company that uses borderfree, you add at least two weeks extra to normal expectations and hope. I don't shop anymore the LL Bean or Neiman Marcus or Eileen Fisher anymore because of their terrible delivery provider. As for shopping with them directly, I plain don't trust them.
Don't Use Them For International Orders
My experience with using Borderfree buying men's clothing from DXL Rochester Big & Tall is much the same as all the other customer issues listed here. Borderfree is owned by Pitney Bowes no need to say more. They rip you off on freight charges, duties & taxes and in many cases a VAT tax even if you live in a country as I do where there is no VAT tax.

Do not use this company! It makes you pay for courier delivery which takes as long as regular shipping (12 days!), and then UPS won't even make a second attempt to deliver the goods you paid a shipping premium for! Instead, they will leave the package at some random place for collection! Waste of money and time! Never again!
USA to Finland in 7 days
I ordered a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes from Neiman Marcus for my fiance. The shoes were sold out in Europe and I was so desperate to get them that I resorted to ordering the shoes from USA without further thought. Only after placing the order did I read about Borderfree and the numerous problems that people have had with them. I was terrified.
After three days I got an email from DHL saying that they have received my parcel and after a total of seven days I had the shoes in my hands. My experience, fortunately, was good.
Borderfree is AWFUL!
I made an order and received no notice for 3 months. I tried to contact customer service numerous times and received nothing. I was later notified about a month later that my package had attempted delivery at 9pm but no one was there to take it. I had my package delivered to my office so obviously it could not be delivered at 9pm. I was so mad. I reached out to customer service several times again and nothing. A few weeks later I saw they refunded me. At least I got my money back but I will never again go through this BS hassle.

Worst service ever!! Ordered from Saks on 09 January and today is 28 Jan and there is no tracking info past 15 Jan. Called to find out what’s happening and was referred to local delivery company who told me the parcel was in a sorting center about 20 minutes from where I live. Great I said, when will it be delivered? February 18, was the reply. WHAAAT???!! Yes they have to wait for enough parcels to deliver.

received a package with the wrong content
I received the13th of November 2021 a package from Borderfree. The package was correctly addressed and with correct order number. On the front of the package it said 2 pieces of shape dresses Item 6. But as I opened the package it contained a tote bag from LL Bean. Today I discovered that a Mr. Zan from Singapore has received a package the 13 th of November with the content that I was supposed to receive in Denmark. It looks like our packages have been swopped, as in the order system it looks like we both have received the right packages referring to the correct order number - that's why it looks right to customer service, but as mentioned before - the content is wrong. I need to receive the 2 pieces of shape wear and Mr. Zan needs to receive the tote bag. I have returned the package with the wrong content back in November 2021. But I haven't yet received a refund neither the right items. Therefore I understood by reading Mr. Zan's text on Trust Pilot that he had received my items and I had received his on the exact same date. I would like stress that Borderfree customer service has been to a very high extent far too unwilling to listen and take action regarding solving the problem for the customer as this correspondence has been going on since November 2021.
