Boring Money helps normal people make smarter investment decisions - quickly and painlessly. We're an independent business founded in 2015 to cut through financial jargon and make investing accessible to everyone. No PhD required! Millions of Brits have used us as a trusted source for savings, investments, and pensions guidance. With over 24 years in the investment industry, our founder, Holly Mackay, got tired of watching people struggle through pages of gobbledygook. Here's the secret: once you get past the jargon, sensible investing is actually quite easy. What we do: ✔Compare ISAs, pensions, and investment platforms with independent ratings and reviews ✔Run annual Best Buy Awards based on 26,000+ customer ratings and rigorous testing. ✔Provide clear guides and articles explaining finance in normal language. ✔Offer tools like calculators and quizzes to help you make decisions. ✔Share honest customer reviews so you can learn from real experiences. ✔Help you take action - whether that's opening an ISA, choosing funds, or finding an adviser. We offer generic guidance, not personalised financial advice (we're not regulated advisers). If you've ever felt alienated, patronised, or exhausted by finance, you're in the right place!

Very informative in an easy to understand way. Humourous as well.
A great read, it really keeps us 'old timers' up to speed with investment ideas, also quite amusing, keep it up
Disappointing. Marketing drive was offering payment for research participation. Instead it’s a prize draw. For £50. Quality of research will be questionable and quality of what I’d hoped would be a decent platform for investment has failed at the first hurdle to convince me they are anything other than a product sales platform masquerading as something useful for customers.
Thank you for taking the time to reply and the explanation is good, however this is not made obvious or clear to users when recruiting. Have added a star for reply.

Refreshing to read analyses of the current economic situation that recognise realities. Some taxes will have to rise and impact large swathes of people who had not previously thought of themselves as the middle classes. Also good to read analyses that don’t simply attribute the cause to the current pm or chancellor but to a much wider UK malaise.
Although serious in content on Financial Matters and the general vibe, a thoroughly entertaining newsletter(s) which do not drown in bullsh*t!
Always a good read, even if you don't think about investing now. But when you do, you will be more informed, of the ways of the invesment world.
I have searched Companies House and found BoringMoney Ltd Number 0945832. On the most recent accounts, that company has negative shareholder equity of -£996,374
It is not clear to me if that is the same company as boringmoney.co.uk
I did look at the website of boringmoney/co.uk, but it was not immediately clear to me that that company is number 0945832
Perhaps broingmoney.co.uk could update their website to identify their true legal identity?
I may be wrong, but the Company, Limited Liability Partnership and Business (Names and Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2015 seem to indicate that companies should include full company name and company number on their website.
As I say, I am happy to be corrected and have any confusion removed.
Best wishes

Really enjoy reading Holly's take on the important issues. I retired a couple of years ago and just take a passing interest in money/investment issues but I have picked up a number of very useful pointers from time to time on Boring Money. Keep up the good work.
Best investment blog out there. I am a newbie and the tone and easy read scripts really hit the mark. One of the few blogs that also acknowledges and highlights the investment issues for women but also gives great advice. Highly recommend!!
Hollys boring money site makes financial gobblygook into understandable sensible language so you are clear about financial products and services all leading to better choices.
I have been with Boring money for a few years now, and still enjoy reading the easy to understand stuff about how to beat the greedy tax man... keep it up, but get some sense, and stop swimming in the freezing cold sea.

Very good presentation/ advice/ information/ facts about financial matters without bring too complex, nor patronisingly simple.
Asked a general question regarding fund information and received a prompt and informative reply.
I emailed a question on behalf of my granddaughter regarding her Isa , Holly responded quickly and gave me her independent financial advice which I very appreciated.
