Highly recommend Philip Smith for all boundary surveying needs. Unlike others, Philip conducts his surveys himself. He is extremely thorough and knowledgeable and will take as long as it takes to ensure no stone is unturned. From the moment I spoke to Philip, I was left with no doubt about him being the right person for my survey.

Philip turned up on time the day he said he was going to visit. He was here nearly all day taking precise measurements and also gaining information from neighbours . He gave us a full report that was extremely detailed which was in our favour , we knew this but needed the expert to give his witness account to clarify, in case we needed to go to court . Philip gained all previous RAF aerial views of the land and previous Google Earth maps with a detailed explanation of the plants and hedges that originally made the boundary border. Not just measuring but He does extensive research of the land. Very thorough and professional. I highly recommend him for boundary or land disputes.

Philip Smith is very good at his job regarding providing a comprehensive boundary survey. He was able to gain photos from earlier google street view, title deeds and find almost an exact boundary line. He managed the paperwork in a timely manner and was very helpful and professional throughout the full journey from beginning to end. Would highly recommend if you are disputing a boundary.

Philip was very helpful indeed in providing advice by phone that enabled me quickly to resolve what had seemed a potentially awkward issue regarding the location of the boundary between two small front gardens. I am very grateful for his assistance.

I would like to thank Phillip on resolving a boundary dispute at a residential property. We had a dispute regarding the boundary from the front driveway all the way back into the rear gardens.
I would recommend Phillip 100% his attention to detail and efficiency was extremely impressive. He came on the day we had agreed (which was short notice on our behalf), we had a brief chat about the issue and he was at the property for over 4 hours measuring. The report was supplied a week later which was extremely impressive. I then produced it to my neighbours which they accepted. I also required an amendment to the report at short notice and he didn’t disappoint, within 24 hours the amendment was back in and my inbox. What impressed me the most about Phillip was his expertise and advice on legal matters if we needed to go down that route, but we didn’t need to as Phillip’s work was sufficient. He even had to talk to my neighbour about the matter but he was extremely professional and didn’t express his opinion. His communication skills before, during and after the report was produced was outstanding.

What I was most impressed with was the extent and the detail of the work undertaken as well as the patience in dealing with a customer with very little experience and understanding of that area. From the onset, even when there was no guarantee that I will process to work with Philip, He took the time to review a few of the documents in my possession and replied to several of my e-mail. I wanted to understand what was involved before I committed and at no point Philip made me feel like a nuisance. He came across as knowledgeable, and professional and even pointed out issues to another one of my boundaries I wasn't even aware of.
