Service was 5 stars…AC unit was 4 stars.

The whole installation process is well organised and done by knowledgeable and friendly staff members.
The only reason for not giving the full 5* is because I feel the quality of the internal AC until itself could be a little better for the price.

Had to wait 8 extra days for installation to be completed after paying extra for faster installation

I paid extra to have my air conditioning fitted 2 days after I ordered it. The day before it was being installed I received a phone to say they wouldn't be able to install it the next and it would be a extra 3 day wait that was disappointing but it wasn't to bad. Again the day before the installation i received an email say the air conditioning would be fitted but the electrician wouldn't be coming to wire it in. So 3 day after it should of be fitted the air conditioning was in stalled but I couldn't use it. 2 days later I received a phone call from the electrician saying he had been told by boxt that the air conditioning was being installed in 3 days time and he would come then but when a told him it had already been installed he said would try to get to me sooner if he had chance. Unfortunately it was 3 days later he got to me. So it was 8 days later an it should of been before I could use the air conditioning. I would of given 0 stars if it wasn't the installer and electrician did I great job.

The workman were nice

The workman were nice, very polite and professional. Took care with everything and leaned up after themselves. In fact went above and beyond to make the job look very professional.

Quote to Install

From initial quote to installation was brilliant. The installers who came to my property were very professional, my new boiler had to have some new pipe work and due to the boiler having to have the wall unit reinstalled to match the kitchen the pipe work had to be tight so the unit went back on and they did a fantastic job doing this even though it had taken them longer to do. Sheeted up, cleaned up and both very polite.. I deal with contractors on a daily bases with my job and these who came today blow them out of the water.. my installer was called Allen and I would very highly recommend.

Boiler and servicing

Had a boiler fitted with Boxt a few years ago and took out the pay monthly plan that includes servicing every year and have never had a problem,pay under £10 per month and breakdown and servicing is included,great deal and the booking a service is so easy,never had a problem at all with Boxt

Dishonest scam

Dishonest scam. Deliberately claim they have daily availability, get you to spend £6k on 3 day turnaround booking and then call you the day before to move the appointment back a month. It's intentional to get you to use them instead of competitors. I won't be using this company ever again for anything. Fraudsters.

Proof that amazing companies still exist"

I don't even know where to start.
​We decided to upgrade our boiler as it was very old and inefficient. We found the best price (yes, the best - not a single company was able to beat them) for a new boiler, installation, plus a bonus free Hive Mini set (including the hub!).
​We originally booked it for the Friday of the following week, but our old boiler must have sensed something was happening because it started to leak (badly) just to say thank you. I had to isolate it completely and asked BOXT if we could move the appointment closer. They straight away offered to move it to the very next day.

​Then Karl (a gas engineer and technical surveyor at BOXT) phoned me to tell me everything was fine, but the cupboard built around the boiler was in the way and would need to come down. I told him it wasn't a problem and that I would take it off by the time the installer arrived. However, I then realized the next-day appointment wouldn't work for me because no one would be home (though I really, really appreciated the quick offer anyway!). In the end, we agreed on this Friday - a week earlier than the original appointment.

​Anthony was our installer. He traveled from far away but arrived promptly. He took down the old boiler in next to no time and prepared everything for the new one. We even had to wait a little bit for the new boiler to be delivered, which happened around 8:45 am.
​From there, he installed it super quickly, tested it, cleansed the system, cleaned up properly after the job, and so on...
Anthony is a super nice, polite, and friendly person. I can highly recommend him.
​Sidenote: If you receive an email showing who your installer is, those icons actually mean something!
(e.g. ☕ black coffee = he actually accepts them).

​The only issue we had was getting the Hive system to connect properly, but Anthony set it to standalone mode for now and straight away reported it so it could be sorted quickly.

Almost instantly, Wing Lee from BOXT phoned me to sort out the Hive. He was incredibly helpful and friendly.

​All in all, everything is working perfectly. The whole process was very smooth from the very beginning to the very last bit. BOXT is an amazing company, and I can highly recommend them and their service. If you need a new boiler, don't hesitate to contact them - even if you have a better quote elsewhere, they will beat it.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service before my installation. Scott rectified my mistakes after ordering online very quickly and professionally on the help chat. Really impressed. My installers were fantastic. Very tidy and quick. Turned up on time and gone within 4 hours. Very friendly and answered my questions. Highly recommended. Thank you for a great experience.

Fantastic experience

When I had questions before the installation, including mistakes I hade made, Scott in customer service was exceptional and rectified everything for me and answered all of my questions very quickly on the chat help. My installer was very quick, showed up on time and very tidy. He also answered my questions. Great customer service all round. Highly recommended.
