Not having visited a BP station so far this year I received today an email offering me quadruple points, together with a link to Unlock My Rewards. Unsurprisingly the link didn’t work. Time for this p... See more

I have never yet managed to redeem…
I have never yet managed to redeem anything either on line or at a BP garage. Always sone kind of problem, the staff generally don't care or don't understand it. And - why have a scheme that involves handing out loads of little bits of paper which we have to then keep? This is 2025, surely everything should be on the app/card whatever. The scheme needs a complete rethink.
LOAD OF RUBBISH
LOAD OF RUBBISH - like everyone else below is saying. Tried to redeem points to vouchers and they were never sent. Tried to sort issue out MULTIPLE times just to be fobbed off and told they sent an email with the vouchers and it worked their end.
Finally I was told gmail emails were not receiving the vouchers and that was the issue so manager sent from personal email address only to find they didn’t work either! Now they just ignore my emails.
Complete joke
BP and Rontec Cannot get rewards!
Stopped at BP Swanley which is owned by Rontec apparently. Tried to redeem rewards to be told they have a system error and cannot redeem points. Emailed Rontec to be told that Rontec sites do not allow the rewarding of points!. What is the point of a reward scheme that you cannot use? Rontec have over 60 BP sites according to BP's website and nowhere on there does it say you cannot redeem points at them. Complete con
The app logged me out and won’t allow me to log back in or set up another
The app logged me out and now It’s impossible to log back in as it just wants to set up a new account but already has my details in its system so won’t even allow me to do that! Stuck in a circular argument with it! I just fill up elsewhere now and get the rewards
Terrible!
Terrible!! Don’t waste your time BP rewards card. Complete scam. Block card during Covid time and deleted all my points.
Please do not sign up to a false reward scheme.
The chocolate teapot of apps.
SCAMMERS
Bp careline for bp rewards are shocking . they blocked my rewards card so I couldn't spend the money I earnt from buying fuel , its basically a scam like others have said. The response I have received from them is poor it was basically a 3 word email very very unprofessional.
This app is USELESS
This app is totally, absolutely useless! The app used to work when paying for fuel at the pump, but now you have to approve the transaction with your Bank, and it then proudly tells you that payment via the app is temporarily unavailable. It does this EVERY time!!! GET IT SORTED!!!!
What a joke
What a joke. I fill the truck and van up every single morning with about 80 pounds of diesel. After about 2 or 3 days I checked the stupid card. I made about 4 pounds. .. so let me get this straight I spent about 300 GBP of fuel and rcvd 4 quid. Hahaha. Pathetic. Card went into the bin and cancelled. Wow what a joke !!!!
It's all scam these rewards!!
It's all scam these rewards!!! Tried to redeem points and it was declined. The cashier said it the points cannot be redeemed as they are promotional points worth £20!!! So avoid this scam where these kind of retailers cone you by giving points etc etc....its all scam!
Appalling rewards card.
Points not allocated. Customer services not listening. Purchased more fuel in 2024 than 2023, received at least 50% less points, despite subscribing to offers.
Redeem your points and don't bother with this appalling rewards card.
They should be referred to the consumer association.
BPme Rewards is A TOTAL SCAM an absolute rubbish scheme with rubbish…

Absolutely rubbish rewards card
Absolutely rubbish rewards card. I never get any points when I fill up at BP with petrol as it doesn't credit my card with any credits.
Not worth having, will not bother to use in the future as a waste of time.

BPMe App—A Masterclass in Incompetence, Brought to You by BP UK
Subject: BPMe App—A Masterclass in Incompetence, Brought to You by BP UK
If there were a rating lower than one star, BPMe would have earned it in spades! The app could be amazing—if only it actually worked. When by some miracle it does, it’s a joy to use (for those 5 minutes before it breaks again). But let’s talk about reality: the payment system is essentially a digital black hole—you keep trying, it keeps failing, and no one has a clue why.
Here’s the fun part: every app update seems designed to introduce new and exciting ways to not pay at the pump! It’s been months since it last worked for me, and yet, I keep trying, like some eternal optimist who believes BP could ever get this right. But why should they? After all, customer experience must be so last century for a corporate giant like BP.
I even raised a support ticket—brilliant idea, right? Wrong. The support seems to come from some distant outpost where “customer service” is just a fancy phrase for “let’s never respond.” After what felt like begging, it was escalated to the tech team, who are so well-hidden I assume they’ve gone underground. And the best part? You used to be able to talk to them. But not anymore! Why bother helping customers when you can just… not?
I mean, Bernard Looney and the team running BP UK must be proud. I’m sure they have no idea how much customer loyalty they’re losing. But hey, why worry about that when you’ve got entire franchises setting fuel prices at random? No standards, no accountability, no surprise there! It’s almost as if you don’t care about your customers or your app.
And while we’re at it, let’s talk about BP’s generous rewards. It’s a fantastic system—if your goal is to give away practically nothing in return for people spending their hard-earned money on overpriced fuel. Who designed this? They deserve a medal in customer alienation.
So, thank you, BP, for reminding me why loyalty is a thing of the past. Maybe it’s time someone at the top—Looney, are you listening?—took a good look at the money and customers slipping through the cracks thanks to your disastrous app and equally diabolical support service.
Impossible to contact re faults - totally useless web site.
Totally useless web site requires card number and CVV to sign in, even for FAQs - BUT doesn't recognise these details for this or any part of the site!
Impossible to contact about problems because of these basic faults AND because there is apparently no phone number to use as an alternative!

My total points were bombing up what with premium fuel x4 points and putting over £80 pounds in every couple weeks
Clicking on all bonus points and seeing my money going up from £5 to 7 to 9 now £10 something I thought this was amazing at this rate il have a full tank of fuel free! But that where it all changed no sign of the £10 something instead slammed back Down to £5 what a con a where is the rest of my money
I will not be prioritising BP in the future!
Over £1000 spent in fuel last week
Over £1000 spent in fuel last week, card swiped every time and never any points added.
Contacted CS via the app and never received a reply.
BPme rewards is a scam, it’s nothing more than data harvesting avoid at all costs
BPme NO MORE
I have had more problems with this diesel card than any other.
Always buy BP diesel if I can (even paying an above average premium).
BUT NO MORE
BP listen to your customers as you have already lost me.
As others have stated - card is more hassle to use and collect points than any other loyalty card.
My latest Hassle is this : BPme (which I have a physical card and an APP on my phone) now you would presume as I did that the APP on my phone and the bar code on my card are conjoined with the same account number. YOU WOULD BE WRONG ??
Latest bad experience - I had an offer for triple points until 26/8/24, so went to my local garage yesterday (14 miles away) to fill up.
Scanned my BPme card at the counter when I paid on my debit card for the fuel as I ussually do. But only normal single points went onto my account?
Questioned the cashier who gave me some rubbish excuse that I have to register my PAYMENT CARD (debit card) onto the APP ?? I dont give anybody my debit card number, never have & never will !!
Also, my local garge is a RONTEC garage and you CANNOT redeem BPme points at thier garages (you can earn but not cash in) ??
So, now I have missed the last day of the offer - phoned customer services, which sounds like a South Africa call centre? maybe wrong?
Customer service !!! ha - explained but customer service would NOT add the points onto my account.
The reason was that the 3 x triple points was APP only (not explained and as I have said its the same number and account as the bar code on the physical card)
After explaining that I was a loyal customer but would consider my future patronage she said " your customer feedback is important to us", which is code for "don't give a damn" then have a nice day !!!
Thats it for me, I have a few more points (about 45 litres) to get my card up to £10 (which has taken me about 18 months of regular fill up's), I shall be getting a £10 amazon voucher and cutting up my BPme card and removing the BPme APP from my phone.
I suppose this is the way of the world nowadays !!!
