Arrived late. I expected her to spin like all other music boxes do... What's up with that?? Now I had to cancel my visa card due to fraudulent charges now appearing from Bradford exchange! I was first disappointed because the product didn't come in a box. It was mailed in a styrofoam cube. Second when I opened the product the two halves of the egg were off center and the magnetic closure mechanism at the top was bulky and created a large gap in the egg. The next disappointment was when I placed the music box on a table the legs of the music box were also misaligned so that the music box teetered back and forth. But the most disappointing part was when I wound up the music box to hear the song. It sounded nothing like them nutcracker. The timing of the notes were off, the notes themselves were wrong, and they're also large gaps with no music playing at all. I'm very disappointed by this product. I return the product promptly. I don't know how this passed quality inspection.

The impression given was that the figurine would spin upon opening the egg and winding for the music. This does not happen. Plus the figurine barely fits on the pedestal...having to be forced and stays on only if the base remains stationary. Disappointing given I bought 4 different music boxes as gifts and this was one for the youngest.

AD GIVES IMPRESSION THE DANCER ROTATES. IT DOES NOT. PLEASE STATE SO IN YOUR ITEM DESCRIPTION. IT WAS SMALLER THAN WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE, BUT VERY WELL DONE. FINE WORKMANSHIP. GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER LOVED IT.

The egg arrived and we were surprised to discover that the ballerina doesn’t turn. Rather it is attached with a magnet. The hinges are wonky and the pictures are not hand painted, it’s a pixilated print. Not really worth the price.

UPDATE!!! It was my fault- Clara is not supposed to twirl!! My daughter absolutely loved it!!! It is quite beautiful and elegant but the music is a little messed up and the Clara piece does not twirl as advertised.

Over rated. The music box was clunky, the ballerina’s magnet does not want to stay on so I really couldn’t put it on. I’ve known Bradford for many years and this isn’t what I expected. I plan to return this product.

Not happy with how unstable the ballerina sits on the pedestal. Any movement of the music box causes her to fall over and she won’t truly stand upright. You need to tilt her to get her to stand. I am giving as a gift to my wife and will let her decide if we return or not.
