Better than the Mandrake from Bradford in that the Dobby figure actually has shades of coloring on its "skin" surface for a more realistic look versus a single resin color for the entire Mandrake body. Also the ability to adjust the legs and arms (and neck) allows better staging. Packaging was good and the item arrived well protected and much like the artwork image presented.

Dobby looks very realistic; his eyes are amazing! The detail in every feature is perfectly created. His arms and legs move very well, nothing is loose or drops on its own. Also, this is a very good size!

I purchased Dobby as a gift for my daughter who is a huge Harry Potter fan. Dobby turned out to be a lot nicer than I thought it would be. It really surprised me, especially the (glass?) eyes. The picture doesn't do it justice. I still think it is expensive. But the quality is there.

I received Dobby & the box had a whole in it & so did the collectors box. Since Dobby was not harmed I just wanted to exchange boxes, to no avail, no matter who I told this story to they made me risk my doll going back just because the box was ruined. I am still waiting for Dobby that I ordered like Nov 2 nd & today is Nov 23 th. I almost want to say just forget it. I will lose it if something is wrong with Dobby.
