It's really not worth the money and cost of shipping like the older sets that you can't purchase any more. For $112 USD for one installment I can not recommend this product. At that price I expect details on all the cars, rivet detail, actual moving steam piston linkages on the locomotive. Separately applied details like valve gear, brake gear, paneling. Instead you just get a plastic molded piece of cheap novelty toss-about. My mother's set, despite being damaged, older, and not in the best of shape, still looked way better than the newer model.

The quality is excellent, and the value for money is outstanding. They use to give Bachman EZ track, but I think they now give Walthers tracks now. We will see.

Only have the Locomotive & Coal Car. They are awesome, very realistic and not flimsy at all.

The train is useless, the couple r on the engine, is a plastic rod, and the coal tender couple r is a knuckle couple r, also the coal tender needs a couple r, on both ends, so you can connect fright car to it.

This locomotive is does not live up to the Bradford brand. Much of the locomotive is plastic and when I first energized it the wheel linkage it got jammed in the fake plastic parts. I had to put it in reverse to unjam it and a plastic parts broke. The two front wheels are plastic and hard to get get set on the track. The engine easily comes off the track even at slow speed and I had to realign it on the track often.. I finally gave up and asked for a refund. Still waiting for the refund hoping that the Bradford exchange honors its return policy.

the train itself is a fine one. this is the third one I or my Father have purchased over the past 25 years. they don't last forever. my issue is not with the train but the misleading service and subscription. i paid for expidited shipping and that did not happen, yet i stil paid the full fee. additionally, i wanted to get an additional passanger car but there is no provision to do so online. i woul dlike a reply.

I don’t like the way you break up the shipment. Why don’t you give it all at once? I got it to have for Christmas. At this rate I won’t have it until next year. Stupid.

I did not understand that this is a subscription and I have not been able to reach the company to cancel. No return email or response to subscription cancelation form Update: Was able to get in touch with customer service and they made it right. Still not a great experience but the product itself is high quality.

Web announcement does not clearly states this is a collection and it will take so long to get all components, neither is clearly stated the price. You have done a very poor job in the advertising from the point of view of a customer who wants to know what is he or she paying for
