Bullying and violence !!

I visited your store 2759 on 15/02/2021 at around 11:26 with my son. I bought some stuff as per attached receipt. After that I looked to purchased some shoes before I leave.

A tall thin man , seems from staff, came to me speaking very violently and angrily that I took the shoes from shelves and this is not the right way to do. He told me that the store has a process to try shoes. I told him as I have the shoes already there, so I will choose some then I will put the rest back on shelves ( although , I thought that this is his job ). He agreed. I tried 3 pairs of footwear at that time. At that time he kept going around me and my son in a strange way.

As I chose one on the 3 pairs and I put back the remaining pairs back on shelves.

I went to the cashier point to pay for it.I found him chasing us. He stopped me in one on the isles saying " what is the s**t are you doing? you left the 6 pairs in the wrong areas !?"

I told him who is the manager in this shop. He said " this is my shop ". I understood that probably he is the most senior staff on that shift. I asked for a witness to document his behaviour.

Another staff member, ( an Asian lady ) who was on the cashier earlier when I paid for the stuff came in and observed.
I told him I want the police to document your verbal assault and behaviour. He said "the police will do nothing to you and move your a**e out of here " . He said too that I left some stuff in the changing room the day before, where I was trying some trousers, having also bought a pair ( receipt also attached ).

I called the police and there was no immediate response. I told him I want to pay for the pair of shoes that I have in my hands. He pulled them away from my hand and repeated his misbehaved violent words again, even when me and my son trying to calm the situation down and find a decent end of this.

So, I left the store.

This is completely non professional, outrageous behaviour and I am afraid that this staff member behaviour is of racist background, as me and my son were speaking Arabic as we were shopping in the store, before this staff member assault started.

By the way, I noticed that the store is hardly visited by customers. I also noticed very bad reviews of that store.

Please, as a customer, I request a full investigation of this incident with complete feedback to myself.

This has to be the worst shop I have…

This has to be the worst shop I have ever dealt with. The staff are the rudest ever. I bought 2 pairs of sweatpants for my daughter for Christmas and distinctly asked if I could exchange until what date in January. I went in yesterday and as they didn’t suit I just presumed that I got a refund. It was the manner in which the guy spoke to me and said no refund only credit note. I couldn’t believe it as with any other shop you can have something else or a refund. I said this to him and he told me he would get a manager . He was even more rude and made me feel very upset the way he spoke to me and said that I would have been told that there’s no refund. I was never told this as I would never have bought them. Really horrible staff and I would not darken it’s door again only I have a credit note. Stay away from this shop . Remember no refund!!

No customer service whatsoever!

If I could put 0 I would - absolutely no customer service whatsoever! I picked a rug to buy and before purchasing I asked could I get a refund if the colour was wrong, to which I was told yes, but in addition to having my receipt the ticket or label should be left on the rug (this was said by the another shop assistant on the 2nd till) - so I purchased it on this basis. My partner was with me & was witnessed to this conversation.

So unfortunately the rug was the wrong colour, I went back to BrandMax to return to be told that no I could only get store credit or pick something to the value. I explained the above conversation and the manager was just so rude saying I was not privy to that conversation and was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had in a shop. The manager kept call me disgusting when I repeated what I was told - she had no customer service & was clear she had never had training...

So as i left I told the person behind me to be careful & to be sure he didn’t want to return his item as they wouldn’t refund him to which the Manger started to call me disgusting again & proceeded to follow me as I was leaving the store - I felt like a thief and was shaking when I got outside.

AVOID at all costs!!

28days return for ANY item is not what they do. And customer service can hang up on you too

I bought items and on the receive was 28days on any items! I went back couple days after i bought it, to exchange one and wanted return one. Return was not accepted. I rang a customer service. Behavior of the person from the phone customer service not only needs to get basic training but should not work on customer service any kind of...i try to find where to complain about that. Unfortunately, no email no any contact. I can't call the some number and tell him i want complain about him as he hunged up on me and was very rude ....very not professional. I do not recommend

AVOID AT ALL costs!!

AVOID AT ALL costs!!! Was humiliated and kicked out of the shop by manager even though I have medical exception and explained and told that at least 10 times. Minute after approached by another employee and again being told to wear a mask or leave the shop! All in front of my 6yo which cause me and her severe distress. This was unacceptable behavior where employees are using company policy going beyond the law and discriminate, threatening and humiliating customers because of disability.

They did not approach and talk in this manner with any other customers that were wearing inappropriate face covering or wear face covering incorrectly.They only targeted me and my child to using threats, humiliation and harassed me and innocent child.

They intentionally and knowingly did this as later when asked the names so I can officially named those incompetent workers and made statement to Gardai they refused to give me names. Not single employee has name tag either!

At the till I was again humiliated in front of other customers based on my disability when guy at till told me to stepped back even proper distance maintained and behind the protective glass. All this done as one silent agreement between them as not just employees surround us but also people that were in shop. And witnesses workers inappropriate behavior.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

NOT SURPRISED BY RATING OF THIS SHOP when company is dependent on incompetent employees and managers.

Never treated like today in any other shops, service providers or businesses in Carlow.

Ordered end of September

Ordered end of September, parcel said it was out for delivery before brandmax had sent the out of dispatch email. Hermes are unable to locate the parcel and Brandmax keep asking the same question over and over ‘refund or replacement?’ After saying that I would like a replacement order sent out three times. This company that is under the same management for sportsdirect needs to work on their online services.

Think I’ve been scammed

Tried to purchase from this website. Put my card details in, it sent me back to the sign in page. Signed in as guest again put my card details in again and was sent back to the sign in page again. Hopefully they haven’t actually taken payment however I feel like now they have my card details and I have been scammed. The contact us page has sports direct email information.
