Did not expect this from this company
Hove branch ordered a tower came very late so lost a day . One of the wheels was broken so did not lock a couple of the cross struts did not fit properly I thought most companies checked there items before they were delivered but not in this case will not be using them again unless they improve!!!!

Machine turned up in the afternoon even though it was booked for the full day. Tyre went bang. Sent out a replacement 2 days later that then had the wrong bearings and wouldn’t fit. So out of the 5 days I hired it for I could only use it for a day and not even a bit of a discount.

Hired a rotary pressure washer from the Brighton branch and when it arrived it wouldn't fit through our side passage which was my oversight. David kindly sent me out a much longer extension hose the next morning so I could do the back of the house and extended my hire at no extra cost. That's the kind of customer services which will mean I will definitely be hiring from there again.

My hire was cancelled the afternoon before it was supposed to happen so I couldn’t do the project I had planned. For a supposedly big company there was no offer of getting an alternative from one of their other branches

It was good that you agreed to pick up the equipment early. But then you have me a date for the pick up but didn't pick it up. When I phoned you did not know anything about the pick up. You came three days later during which time I had to hide the equipment to try to prevent it from being stolen.

Platform hire
Delivery of hire item, and item itself, all good and driver excellent.
However booked collection date on line and for some reason the local office had it down as the following day and so wasted an afternoon waiting for collection.
Then when reorganised they messaged to say driver coming am despite being arranged for pm.
Again, driver was excellent.

Tried to bill me an extra £42
Tried to bill me an extra £42 and wouldn’t listen when I told them I had returned more than they had logged back. Very unfriendly and unprofessional as when I called head office they said I was right but was made to feel wrong by the staff at the Hove branch. Very stressful and unnecessary. Won’t use again.
