Superb service!
I was served at the Christchurch branch by a lovely man called Stacey who couldn’t have been more helpful. The booking procedure was simple, the equipment was clean and well maintained and Stacey explained clearly how to use it. I hired a sliding chop saw and it was perfect for cutting sleepers to size. I would certainly recommend others to this store and will be using their services again.

Usual excellent service
The team at Christchurch are always friendly, helpful and not patronising like
some construction suppliers are with the general public.
The aerator I hired was clean, worked well and one of the team helped me get it into my car. The clear instructions on the YouTube video are very helpful. Return was easy and the price was fair as they cost £1,500 to buy.

Item didn't fit in my car.
Brandon hire station went out of their way to assist me when the item I hired did not fit in my car. They promptly organised delivery of the item to my home. Despite it being off the clock hours for the kind employee who delivered it. They also took care of arranging pick up along with the additional paperwork regarding the impromptu delivery.

I hired a floor sander
I hired a floor sander. Was a little disappointed to hear that hiring for a week, means you collect it Monday afternoon and drop it back Friday morning, which to me is only 3 full days, and only weekdays meaning I had to take the week off work to do the job, which was a little frustrating as it cost over £200 when all was said and done. Anyway picked it up and started trying to use it, but we’d been sent away with the wrong bags and disks so we called in, and to Brandon’s hires credit, the men working for them are absolute angels, and someone dropped the right bits off to me within an hour. We got everything set up and tried to start but the machine didn’t turn on. We tested different RSD chords and plugs etc but nothing worked so called in again, again got someone very helpful who explained there’s a knack to some of them where you have to press on and 1speed at the same time and hold for 15 seconds, we eventually got the hang of it, but the machine died after 2 minutes. At this point Monday was gone and the idea of doing this alone as a woman with and faulty machine got to me, again thankfully kindest people in the world in there, I brought it back the next morning to show the faults and they offered either a refund or a different machine that was brand new, however, I was already being wildly optimistic that I could do all the floors in 5 full days yet alone what was now 2 full days, and I couldn’t take more time off work for a while so we ended up having to get someone in. Who did say as we were doing the second floor in an old house then a hired floor sander would be too rough and bangs against the wood causing damage to the ceilings below. So it was the best outcome for us. All in all, the machine was crap and it was a faff but the customer service showed by Brandon hire was impeccable and they all deserve a nice bonus!
