Very poor service
The branch doesn’t open weekends and as I was caught in traffic I couldn’t collect my hire equipment, no way of actually speaking to my branch and completely ignored when emailed. Out of pocket £100 crap service use someone else.

Equipment did not arrive
Hired bumpa hoist on Internet. Paid hire fee and deposit 10 days in advance. On morning of hire item had not been delivered. Phoned to find out situation, was told they had not been able to source one. I was not contacted earlier, I made the call. Was also told the manager of the depot knew was not sourced but did not contact me.

Tower easy to use, but in bad condition
I liked the tower very easy to use and assemble on my own. Tower was not in the best of condition. One of the out rigger legs was faulty and all of the wheel corroded solid so unable to level. Towers should be check properly before being sent out.

My first order for delivery did not arrive as expected. I needed to call for an ETA, only to find out that the depot thought I was collecting even though I paid for delivery. I lost a day of labour.
My second order was wrong as both items weren't delivered, losing me another day's labour. Finally, I needed to extend the hire of 1 item after returning the other and have been charged extension for both!

Message left canceling equipment
Ordered a power rake for 1 week £600 and booked a week off work to level entire garden.
Message left the day before delivery cancelling order saying there were none in the country.
Checked back on line and the equipment was available to hire within the period I had booked.
Either there was no equipment and the website were allowing other people to waste their time or the equipment was available and my time was wasted. Neither reflects well.
No options were provided, alternate dates, alternate equipment, goodwill gesture... not even a call back to talk to me personally... a message left on my answer machine to waste a week of my annual leave at a days notice.
If I were trade that could have had a massive impact on my income and reputation.
I wouldn't have bothered leaving a review except for the fact that Brandon Hire sent me an email link asking for a review, hence, here I am.
Awaiting generic, non-spesific response from Brandon Hire to manage online presence

Think twice before ordering online
Ordered on line 3 dehumidifiers, my brother arrived at the property on the allocated day, no delivery arrived. He called Brandon Hire and they advised they had sent an email the day before to advise they didn’t have any in stock! This email went into a junk file therefore was not received. We had to actually buy 3 industrial dehumidifiers as they were needed urgently for a flooded property of my late mum. It seems pointless to order online if you do not have the stock available. As you can imagine the cost implications of buying these machines is huge.
