Cracking service and easy to deal with
Hired a whacker to complete a driveway project.
Booking my hire was nice and easy. I called the sales team to ask a few questions before ordering, and they answered quickly and efficiently.
On the day of pickup, picking up was really easy, and the in store staff were really helpful too. Dropping off was also a simple process.

I hired a Stihl Saw but did not realise the cost did not include the blade. I was in a rush when I collected it as the job was in London. Rather than try and sell me a blade, they borrowed me one. Great service.

Not fit for purpose
I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received when I hired a tool from your company.
I hired a compactor from your company last week to help me with some DIY work at home. However, when I started using the compactor, I quickly realized that it was not functioning properly. The compactor was overheating and producing an unpleasant burning smell. As a result, I was unable to complete my work and had to return the faulty tool to your company.
When I returned the compactor to your store, I was told that I would have to pay for the full hire period, even though the tool was not working properly. I was extremely dissatisfied with this response, as I feel that it is unfair to charge customers for a faulty tool that was not fit for purpose.
Furthermore, the customer service I received at your store was poor. The staff member I spoke to were unhelpful and uninterested in resolving the issue. I asked to escalate the matter to a manager, who I had actually been speaking with. However, the whole process was time-consuming and frustrating.
Overall, I am very disappointed with the service I received from your company. I expect better from a tool hire company, and I hope that you will take steps to improve your service in the future.
