Faulty eyeletts and no help!!

Faulty eyeletts and no help!!
I bought these as I do an awful lot of walking..
As below, after only a month the eyeletts started to drop off.
After hours emailing and on the phone and being passed from pillar to post I have ordered some flexible eopoxy to try and mend them myself.
Awful customer service. Awful boots!!
You expect a better response to ptoblems when you are paying £120.00 plus..
I do not recommend these boots at all, I also do not recommend Berghaus as they took over Brasher..

Brasher hiking boots poor quality

I bought a pair of Brasher hiking boots from Blacks about 18 months ago (on sale for about £100), and though they fit well and were very comfortable, the eyelets began popping off within two weeks. I got an exchange pair of boots from Blacks, who said they'd never seen this problem before. The new pair did the same thing. I found a way to repair the eyelets using flexible epoxy, but in total I had to fix 8 of them. Two months ago the soles began tearing off and now they are unwearable. I walk about 7 hours a week on fairly rough terrain. Blacks refused to publish this review!

Poor quality bad customer service

I bought apair of very expensive hiking boots (£120) from this brand and they completely failed in just over a year . Although customer service acknowledged that the product was faulty they refused to do anything to make it right without a receipt . I completely get that they were legally within their rights but it just shows they really don’t care about the quality of their products or the customers who spend hard earned money on them . Avoid this brand !!!

Brasher walking boots fault.

Bought some brasher walking boots from this site to replace a pair that had a manufacturing fault with the eyelets. Was assured by customer service that the fault had been rectified with these new boots. However the new boots have a fault on the boot loops so that you can't tie the laces tightly/properly. Indifferent/ rude customer service, lucky if you get an email reply. Avoid these boots. Also Brasher is in fact part of Black's, Millets, Jd Sports and others.

Hillwalker socks

Bought 3 pairs of these socks late June 2015. Worn 2 pairs over the summer couple of times a week and both pairs have developed holes in different places. Returned them to Blacks with original receipt. Couldn't offer exchange or refund "not company policy" but sent away to their head office for "inspection". Have had the socks returned by post today with computer generated letter stating the socks aren't faulty but are due to "normal wear", so no credit is due.
For socks costing £11.99 a pair to last less than 3 months with minimal use is appalling and the retailer certainly doesn't want to know.
Avoid Blacks, Avoid Brasher!
