Brave is an average browser, for me as a consumer, the ad blocking and other schticks is nice, but besides that it's just every other browser, their search engine is utter garbage, it's worse than... See more

Was excellent - now rubbish and no support
Until recently, this browser would have had five stars. It worked exactly as it said it should, and when I had a couple of issues setting it up I was able to contact someone who quickly replied personally and helped me sort it out. Unfortunately a short while ago it stopped syncing passwords and bookmarks, despite always being set up to do so, which makes it more or less useless as I use three devices and need them to have the same information on them. I haven't changed anything. Worse than this, there is now no way to contact a human being for help, which is incredibly disappointing. It is going to take me ages to move everything over to another browser, and I don't have time to research and try out a load of new ones so reluctantly heading back to Chrome for now. Brave might be good for you if you just use one device, but please don't rely on it sharing information across devices. You will waste hours of your life.
Brave News is bad news
Brave News, like many other media, decides "who" we should vote for by posting "only negative stories" about one candidate, and "only positive stories" about another candidate. You guess which ones. By being purley political and attempting to "vote for us", instead of giving true information about both candidates, Im uninstalling brave. They are 100 percent biased. Google does the same.

Without warning Brave just lost all my saved passwords. This seems to be quite common and there is no way back.

Said I was flagged for irregular activity and wouldn't give me a reason why or the option to fix it. I don't trust this program or the devs running it. Especially since I know I did nothing wrong.
Brave Browser has a CRASHING PROBLEM and NO SUPPORT
I have been using Brave Browser for many many years. It really is my favorite browser and has all the features I need. I like that it seems to manage the youtube ads in a satisfactory way even after youtube became more aggressive with ads. Unfortunately it has a CRASHING PROBLEM and they have NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT. So now I am struggling to use a new browser and have been locked out of some accts due to the new browser. Too bad Brave doesn't stand behind their produce and hides like a typical BIG TECH MONOPOLY. I can't say I would recommend it due to the CRASHING PROBLEM with NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT!!! Just look it up.
commercial on my **** new tab
commercial on my ***** new tab, and for Ubisoft non the less, getting a new browser on all my devises today.
It's very good browser in the world!
I honestly think brave could be better
I honestly think brave could be better, if they used less wifi capacity or less memory, how do does this browser fail so miserably in showing pictures on google. you only show 1 page of pictures, meanwhile google shows hundres of pictures, your adblocker only works 50% of the time, and I dont care about your stupid "earn money from watching ads program to earn tokens" I honestly could not care, the amount is so little rewarding I'm never going to use that feature. Google chrome is way better, the only thing that brave browser has is an adblocker and that's pretty much it
Fast, Simple and Smooth
I have used most of the well recognised browsers and found Brave to be one of the best.
Ad blocking is excellent, simple and smooth.
Using it now as my default browser and deleted the rest.
Will next try the VPN when my other one expires.
I signed up for the vpn and even though…
I signed up for the vpn and even though they've been taking money for it I can't log in as required. Sounds like a rip off to me.
Not as secure as you think
Not as secure as you think. I began to use brave because it stresses the importance of security and privacy. It's far from that if you use the free version. You can download any vpn and get the same results and not be restricted to one browser.
Quite frequently the browser kicks you out of private browsing mode. You might not always notice it. Private "mode" isn't 100% private as I occasionally get warnings from google saying it is not private. I am considering finding another browser because it just kicks you out of private browsing without warning. This issue is becoming more frequent than in the past.

I have used Brave for over 3 years and never ever got a AD. Today I got an ad on youtube and I was super mad at brave for not doing what I expected and what they told me they did. I will still continue using brave, but if I get more ads again I will change to some other browser.
Brave is the best browser to ever grace this earth
Brave works well on any Linux distro & Android. Brave is the best browser to ever grace this earth & doesn't deserve the bad reviews it gets & bet all the bad reviews come from users who use garbage Windows
Brave browser now has a significant bug problem
I switched to the Brave browser almost a year and a half ago due to persistent adverts ruining most every website I visited, and highly intrusive YouTube ads. For the most part, it's worked really well for those things... until recently. In fact, it's been over the last month. Once Brave has been open a while, the address bar stops responding and it's not possible to search anything. In addition, the Norton password vault isn't responding to the mobile unlock feature. It sends the request, I receive it, and approve, and... then nothing happens; the vault doesn't unlock, so I have to put the password in... only for Brave's search bar to stop responding a bit later, so I have to close it, restart it, and then unlock the vault the same way all over again. This is happening 2-3 times a day. Yes I've uninstalled and reinstalled the extension. I have a lot of saved sites on the browser, so I'd rather they try to fix this bug (which has clearly come from a poorly coded update) before I try reinstalling it. I'm giving 2 stars (down from what would have been 4 or even 5) only because of the largely ad-free experience.
EDIT: Dropping down to 1 star because they've STILL not fixed the address bar (where it stops working after a while so needs to be reset and then I have to log into my password vault yet again, which is also not working properly since this problem started). It's a shame as I really used to like Brave for blocking annoying ads.
This is simply the best privacy focused browser...
This is simply the best privacy focused browser that can be used for everyday use, unlike some of the other privacy browsers. Brave comes basically with features built in for which I in Chrome had to run several addons which were slowing up the browser. Brave is fast, respects your privacy and works with all Chrome addons, really recommended.
I love Brave's privacy but their constant updates make things worse
I love Brave's privacy, lightness and ease of use as well as compatibility with most Chrome features but you guys HAVE GOT TO STOP THE CONSTANT UPDATES! It keeps making things that are working great worse all the time! It's always something I can no longer access for a time because of your stupid updates. If your team is good, you won't need to keep making so many.
